Key Truda + Paclitaxel+Carboplatin & Cyclophosphamide Side Effects of Mucositis & no taste

One of my close friend was diagnosed with Grade 3 TNBC and was given the following:

Keytruda 200mg once in 3 weeks + Paclitaxel + Carboplatin X 12 +Adriamycin and Cyclophosphamide X 4.

She has lost taste of food after the chemo treatment and though in remission for over 6 months, hasn't got her taste buds back, and can't eat all types of food.

Please let me know if these side effects are common after the above treatment plan and does the taste buds come back at all? And if it does come back, how long does it take to come back?

Loss of taste and mouth changes can happen with treatments like Pembrolizumab, Paclitaxel, Carboplatin, and Cyclophosphamide, especially when combined with other chemo agents. For many people, taste gradually improves after treatment ends, but the timeline can vary a lot and sometimes longer depending on the regimen and individual response.
