Tratzumab Herceptin Thigh Injections
is anybody having tratzumab or herceptin thigh injections? Did anybody have botox whilst on these injections? Any side effects? Im getting issues with stiff knees/hips and bloating/water retention. Would a glass of wine or drinking black tea be ok on these drugs?

Hi @bilberry, welcome to our community! While we haven't heard of restrictions from Botox while on Herceptin, it's best to check with your oncologist to get his / her clearance based on your personal medical history. Staying well-hydrated throughout your treatments, and adding in some physical activity (such as taking short walks each day) should help with the body stiffness and water retention. We don't recommend taking in alcohol while on Herceptin, as that can worsen your side effects and can potentially be detrimental for your heart health. Please let your medical team know of your side effects, as they may be able to make adjustments to your treatment to help manage them.

Thankyou. I’ll cut the alcohol out completely. Ive heard cbd/curaleaf thc gummies can help with the night pain of side effects if cancer. Do you know if these are ok to use at bedtime when on herceptin?
