Weight loss after chemo/radiation; on Lupron and Letrozole
Prior to diagnosis, my weight was ~160 pounds. During chemo/radiation, my weight went up to 173 pounds. I finished radiation end of January, and started Lupron in January and letrozole in April (I had chemo brain and completely forgot I had to take letrozole). I only recently noticed rapid weight loss In what seems like 2 months, my weight is now 152-153 pounds. I am not trying to lose weight but I guess I have cut out a lot of carbs and sugars…and I am always fatigued. I'm hoping it's not anything bad - anyone else losing weight?

Hi @phoenix1979, we're so sorry for the worries that have led you here, but we're glad you've found us. Rapid weight loss to that degree is unlikely due to the Lupron or Letrozole, but may be in part affected by your change in diet. It's best to check in with your oncologist to see what's going on. Bloodwork and other labs may provide some answers.
