What do you use for dryness when on hormone blockers?
I am a month or so in on hormone blockers (Letrozole) and already went through menopause. Before cancer, I had been using Meno vaginal moisture pills and they were working just fine to keep up the moisture, but now that I'm on the blockers, I'm like the Sahara down there.
What have you used that works because the usual oil based lubricants are not working anymore?
This was the one thing I was so afraid of happening and I'm not sure how to handle it since we are still very active sexually and I don't want that to go by the wayside because it hurts.

Vaginal estrogen. My cancer is hormone receptor positive but I’ve been told that vaginal estrogen is ok

I am ER+ PR-. I just asked this question of my GYN and my oncology team. My GYN said she would be willing to order me vaginal estrogen if my oncologist agreed it was okay and they did. They recommended Vagifem or ERing (?). I use the Vagifem which is a pill in a dispenser that you insert twice a week (I also read some people use it daily x 2 weeks then twice a week). It says it can take up to 3 months to show improvement but I haven't been using it long and just attempted "it" for the first time a few nights ago. It wasn't 100% back to normal but definitely more enjoyable. it didn't feel like it was wrapped in sandpaper.
