Drain removal

in Surgery - Before, During, and After

I had a drain removed yesterday and I have been completely exhausted today and feel the same way I did when I left the hospital. I understand that it’s my healing process, but I was not prepared for feeling this badly. I had thought once the drain was removed. I feel better.

Suggestions annd your experience are most welcome. Thanks.

    Hi! I felt the same way. I think it was realated to poor sleep for me. It was very awkward and uncomfortable, and I was so afraid that the drain would come out! When they took it out, it was so long, or at least longer than I thought. It took me a few days afterwards to feel better, but that side is still tender, especially in my armpit. Hopefully you will be feeling better in a couple days!
