LIFES A BEACH!

I made it back: safe & sound -- all in the same day!!

I just rode my bicycle for a total of 52 miles today..... in honor of being fifty-two years old. I am just tickled 'pink' with myself for this little accomplishment. My previous record holder was two summers ago, when I was fifty, I rode a fifty mile day. You do the math -- the older I get, the more I have to ride. LOL.

DH is off on an ALL day golf adventure, so I had all the time in the world to accomplish it.

Coonie. It's still a HUGE headache to get from Picassa to here. I'll be interested to hear if Lisa has any shortcuts. What I do:

1. email the pictures from Picassa to my email address

2. upload pics from my email to a folder on my desktop

3. upload pics over to Photobucket

Then use the little green tree above, as always.

FYI: When I load my pics from picasa to my blog, they go 'direct.' Once they are on my blog I can then just right click on the pic and bring it straight here -- without going thru Photobucket.

(That's why I keep posting the pics here from my blog, it's just sooooooooo much easier. LOL)

Hope that this makes sense. At some point you'd think they'd streamline it. I can't believe that Picasa does NOT have an interface with Facebook. I go thru the same gazillion steps when I want to put a pic there.

Sharon...... did it feel like a holiday to you?? We love our l-o-n-g weekends here in the states.

Arnie. I bet you're having a very hard time saying good by to everyone. I bet your weather was gorgous.... we've had an amazing weekend of weather & I think you're just on the flip side of the lake. So I kept blowing it over to  you.

Elaine. HAWAII?????? Just the two of you???? Have you been keeping this a secret??? We need to start packing, so that we can join you!!!

Footie. Did you get your young-twinsie-baby-muscle-boy all sorted out?? I hope that he helped you make LOTS of lemonade this weekend.

Dream. I guess you're wondering about all the fuss over our holiday, too, aren't ya?

Mum. I just realized that we have 3 'official Canadians' here at the beach now, four if we count Barbe who pops in every now & again.

yeah- its kind of a business trip for part of the time..thats ok because it gives me time for spa, beach, pool side, naps etc. I'm sure I will need help packing....lets see a bathing suit, ummm what else?

I have had no connection to a calender this summer & I seriously would have missed the whole event. 9-9-09!!!! That calls for a party on the beach!!!

I'm gonna keep after ya, about your walking program. Remember, we're meetin' up in January & I want you in your bestest shape for our photo op! LOL. You'll have to show me the sights.

Elaine. Just how do you manage to have a business trip to Hawaii?? I'd like to sign up for one of those at your earliest convenience.

Good morning beachettes.... I'm here!  lol  We got back late Monday night...had a glorius time!!!  Then had my last chemo yesterday!!!!  YEAH!!!   Felt kind of funky after chemo so slept alot.  Still not feeling great but "doable".    Hope you all had a wonderful weekend !   I haven't read back yet so will need to catch up.  Hope everyone is doing well!

Faithie my friend---you've motivated me to walk about 2.5 miles today. Now I know it's not 52 miles, but it sure felt good to get those two in. It's a start (again) right?

Oh gosh Mum.  That pic brings tears to my eyes.  My bf lives about half an hour from there.  There is a post office in that light house and the postmistress comes from the same village as my dh.

Edit to add.........YIKES by bf I meant best friend but thought it might be mistaken for boy friend which could be one in the same but I doubt my dh would be pleased.
