Morning Christi, I found a great site that has "before and after" photo of revision surgeries. I found a photo of the breasts I hoped for on this site and it gave me something to show my ps so he had a clear idea of my hopes. I am 60 so I wanted pretty and perky but not something out of the realm of reality
When he saw the picture I liked he knew right away that I wanted a modest profile. Hope this helps, you deserve the breasts you want

Kristen ginger tea with lemon and honey may not cure your throat but it will feel nice going down

Kittycat sorry your doctor is being so difficult...she sounds very disconnected...something you don't need, hope things improve soon.....
Maggie...hmmmm...new normal...we are not there yet. I think it's mostly me, it is so hard for me to relax with these rocks on my chest...my TE's feel anything but sexy or pretty. I keep a little tank top on and we just work around them
He is being very kind and supportive....honestly at this point I would rather just forget about sex..but my husband would really feel shut out if I didn't at least try to cuddle......so I do my best....but...I can't wait to get these coconuts out of my chest and get something softer :0) Hopefully with implants things will feel better....but I know it will take time. I do tell him how much I appreciate all he has dose to keep life moving along. I don't want him to doubt for a second that beyond all of this bc stuff I love him and his patience and kindness.Maura hope your exchange goes perfectly! Be thinking of you

Yippee Squishies two weeks from today! I can't wait!
Strength and healing,

I can't wait to be the one shopping for bras! My exchange is next Monday. Only 1 week to go! Yeah! I am leaving for Destin, Fl in about an hour and am hoping to spend this week just relaxing.
Good luck to everyone having surgeries this week!

Say ladies I ditto the comments about Nordstrom's bra fitters! They are empathetic & sooo kind hearted about this whole situation.
I am still pretty sore around where the fat was transferred to...can't wait for that normal feeling again! I was feeling pretty normal before my last surgery & ugh...here I go again reminding me that I am still not done! It doesn't help that I woke up on my tummy...squishing my breasts where the graft was done...I hope I didn't do anything to compromise this! I also woke up without my girdle!!! LOL! I guess I was not comfy in it sometime in the night & I decided to take it off...I have no recollection of doing this! LOL!
Good luck & prayers to all!

Nedeza - did you end up having the lift and, if so, are you pleased with it?
0 -
Noriko, hope all is okay. Just started sleeping on my side after the exchange and then had the fipple procedure and had to sleep on my back again... now I'm thinking about fat grafting. I'll be curious about your results! I have family in HB and will be visiting them this summer. I might have better luck finding a PS for fine-tuning in SoCal...0

Lilah, thanks for your support. I don't post much on this thread yet, but soon I am sure I will be. However I do keep up with it. I love to read everyone's stories. If you look at our April 2010 surgery board you will see there are a lot of us having surgery this week. Seems to be a big week for it.

Lilah~
So far so good. I have to admit though the lift was very slight. Essentially, PS moved my nipple up...no keyhole incision...just around the areola.
Gail~
I had just gotten back to sleeping the way I used to sleep without a problem. Now back to being careful again. I am definitely sore around the areas grafted/transferred. I can't see the dent any longer but now puffy probably from the swelling.
Oh...it was strange seeing my name out there here! Well...it's me NAE...Noriko!

Noriko,
My PS said he would "overfill" the divot because some cells don't establish a blood supply and will die and be reabsorbed into surrounding tissue. That is probably what the bump is. I didn't realize they could move the nipple... mine is not round so maybe they can fix that too.

Definitely my dent is overfilled. I can't wait to be back to my normal & hopefully soon!
Bless everyone!

Another 300 Club member!! Congratulations Maggie!
Estepp, treat yourself and go to Nordstroms! They asked me if I wanted them to stay in the room and I said "do you have to?"
They said absolutely not. I just opened the door when I had a bra on, they were waiting nearby. Very sweet and understanding. Very helpful explaining why one does fit and one doesn't so you'll be able to shop at other stores too!If anyone has Tuesday Morning stores, they have great bras now. $10 - 25 for Warners, Natori, Wacoal and others. A lot of them were wired though, darn!
Good Luck to everyone this week!

Val, Don't cancel! My PS doesn't want me wearing a bra so these things are impossible to cover plus they're smothered in vaseline so I have greasy spots on all my clothes--it's quite lovely! I put on a bra yesterday and you can't see them at all so I'm sure, with the instructions your PS gives you'll be fine.CristlC, A year later, if you're not happy yet somehow I don't think you're gonna be so I think if it's important to you, push for it. Colleen, I'll go look at your pics now.Oh Maggie, My husband and I are doing well at the moment but there have definitely been some rough periods where I'm still going through junk and he thinks of it as done. The stress of "is she gonna die" is over, for him the rest is unimportant. I think this whole experience is an evolution of ourselves and of our relationships (both with friends and significant others). This experience can shape a relationship and I think it takes the team to decide how it's going to be shaped. It's good that you've become vocal, as women, we tend to let the world run all over us, but perhaps there's a balance that needs to be found?NAE, You just took the thing off in your sleep!? Yikes, that's my fear with these nips, I'm so worried about putting pressure on them, I never get a good deep sleep and ugh my neck is sore!Julie0

Yea..in my sleep!!! My DH sleep walks & I strip!! LOL! Pretty scary!!!

Just realized I didn't mention that I saw my PS this morning. He's a bit concerned but thinks/hopes it's just bruising. He says that my right side has pretty thin skin so he didn't have much to work with especially since I wanted super sized nips. Because of the thin skin he was worried that they wouldn't get enough blood supply but it does look a little better today.
NAE, That's hilarious!!! I'm picturing you're poor kids.

Julie - so glad the nipple is looking better. Glad your PS is being cautious but it sounds like cautiously optimistic to me.
Nedeza -- that's really funny. You are quite talented in your sleep!

Nedeza -- I would be suspicious of DH.0

Gail -- LOL

Jean... how are you lady? Have not seen you post in awhile. How is the new business? I am SO excited to meet you in Vegas!
Deborah... Honey... you ok?
... If I do not see your pretty face on the EC thread... I start to worry..hehe... Peggio... how are you doing? How is your new home? Dh and I talk about building a new home... but we really hate the idea of giving up three acres... but I brand new subdivision sounds nice. We will probably stay here and build on. The home is large enough.. well.. too large for just two of us..lol... but we think adding a better bathroom in our bedroom sounds good..:)
Ladies... I hope you are healing well and are liking what you see!

Well I hate to say it, but..
Schedule me for Friday again. Even though I just had my implants in for just about 2 weeks, they are not holding.
The story in short: the PS removed a CC including the muscle, it was all fried from the radiation. So on one side he left a very thin skin to hold the 600 implant. It didn't hold. It is blistering and weeping and rather then keep hoping it will heal, and worrying about it not holding after several months or years later even, I decided to let him do an LD flap on the radiated side. The other side looks great. Actually he did a great job, symmetry and size to start with. They just won't hold it.
So Friday it is. Wish me luck...I love you all, JUDY

JUDY... I am so sorry. I was sooooooooo praying this was not going to happen for you! It is not your fault... 60% of rads girls loose the battle and have flap surgery. FLAP SURGERY looks GREAT too! Linda54 can tell you about this if you PM her... she is wonderful to talk to.
I just wish you did not have to do this.
.... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... I tell you... RADIATION better have been worth it. Love you Judy... Love you!0 -
I am happy with the falp surgery..in the end it will stop a lot of worrying later on.. I guess I am happy there is a solution...I guess I can't be the poster child for implants after radiation...JUDY
