Girlfriday..agreed...I am just not used to having health issues so it is all very bizarre to me..just grateful that I am in good shape and can handle it all...even the mini meltdown days are not as bad as they might be, you know? So..all is ok...we could all write books right!?

Sherry- yay to the bra!!!!! I am going to assume that once I have had the lymphodema meetings I too will wear a bra with wire and not ache!!! yay to being uplifted!!

 June - I will need that drink on Friday in the caboose - may be late though - my dr appt is not until 5:30 - will be lucky if I am home by 7:00.  Miss you - hope you are having a good week.  You can send some of your rain here - we really need it.

and HOW COME I COULDN'T BE ONE OF YA THAT LOST WEIGHT???????? I have gained about 10-15 lbs and most of it to my tummy!!   It sucks!     I really am not eating more either.......just sucks!!

sunangel - I hate the thought of another dr appt but I also hate the idea of being in pain for so long.  It really comes down to a no win situation.  I need to take care of myself - not been good at doing that in the past.

Jo, I so understand!!   I work so much and if anyone takes off, I am there to fill in......I take care of my grands when I can, I go like crazy at times, and forget ME......... but I have had to learn to do that these last five months......(except have to fill in for one girl at work quite often!, well, until this last week, my boss finally said no more! Won't let her take off like she was, he hadn't realized I had been in such bad pain and going thru what all I had been! I hadn't shown it around him!!!_    Anyway, I am now even more saying I need to take even better care of me......no one else is gonna do it for me!!        I have always been a hard worker, most of the time getting jobs that I worked 10-16-18 hrs a day......don't know what it is like working a forty hour work week!! Never have!!!!  Or not taking care of others......but as I said......it's time to take care of me.    YOU need to also

I litterally had to go into my family drs. office and throw a bit of a fit.......honestly I just couldn't help it! I was in such pain......and had been for so long there was no way I could handle any more!!!!

sunangel - I am in a customer oriented job - it really requires me to take care of the residents - that is what makes them come back and allows me to still have a job.  But then again, I am one of those people that puts everyone first.  My boss could not believe it when I worked every day through rads.  I have such a great boss, I could have taken all the time I needed but always thought of the job first.  Yes, now the focus does have to be me.  I have to keep telling myself that - one day I may actually believe it.

Sherry - Love the idea of interviewing for the next step.  Like Chevyboy I got lucky with my team with the exception of my moron rad onc.  I threw him in the bonfire and I don't see him anymore anyway.  Love my onc and bs.  It helps that they are both so good looking.  Actually looking forward to seeing my bs tomorrow.  Did I really say that?  It's a doctor appt - LOL! 

Yummy eggs benedit may fave.  I love to make them with toasted country biscuits instead of english muffins, guess that is because I am from the south. Needed that this morning, yumo

Chevy and Jo--My current BS has been pretty good and I do appreciate that she is encouraging me to seek out another BS so that I can have immediate reconstruction if I decide to go that route.  At least she is not trying to talk me into letting her do it and then go back for a second surgery later.  However if she had just given me this as an option to begin with maybe I would have taken it.  Dont' know since it did not happen.  My RO I have loved up until I say my report and was very dissapointed in the inacuurancy of it.  My first MO what a joke.  Best thing I ever did was take charge and switch.  I love my new one.  Felt empowered by making my own decision.  So that is what I am going to do for this next phase, make my own educated decisions.
