Beans, I keep looking at all those funny pics you posted, everytime I get on the netbook. Sooooo funny, and sooooo purrfect!! I am so glad the BBB worked for you! I wrote to them a couple of months ago about a company that sent me a defective product and never answered my emails, and it worked for me too! Trick is to write to the BBB in the city the business is located in. I love that we share all sorts of advice!

Wow Gail, you REALLY walked today!!! I will pin a blue ribbon on you, cause I think thats really awesome (also amazed that WD wanted to walk that far, and that WD told you....LOL!). OMG I hate what the widower has done....so I guess he was having an affair while she was alive, since there is a baby to show for it. That scum bag!!! Something sorta similar happed to my BFF when her mom got cancer several yrs ago. As soon as she died, my friend's stepfather introduced her to his "girlfriend" who soon became his wife. AND she was younger than my friend!!! But my BFF has a big heart, and actually got really close to her "new" stepmom, until they divorced, that is. As for your neighbors, I feel sorry for the kids of the deceased, who now have a new baby to deal with, and dad's new family to deal with. Sheesh, poor things.

Well, the brisket is cooking, and the house has been smelling really good all afternoon! I did a lot of painting outside, dodging the thunderstorms. And now to mosey on over to the HTL and join in the Toga Partay!!! Junie, I think Jocks (since he is your favorite...LOL) is planning to jump out of that humongous birthday cake by the pool....oops did I ruin the surprise???? Sawrrry. Such a fun partay, and boy the slot machines in our casino have been paying off like crazy. Did you notice we all went in together and bought you a whole pile of scratch-off lottery tickets? I heard there will prolly be several big winners in that pile. Have fun Junie, we love you!!!!

    Partay!!!

The party has started and is getting quite wild.....

    And a familiar face....

And he has something to say....

Surprise at seeing who came out of the cake....

Its NOT Jocks...its a playboy bunny!!!

da birfday goil has had a wunnerful day!   All your well wishes and great posts made for such fun reading and lots of chuckles!   I may turn into da barfday goil though--have eaten waaaay too much today and friends brought over a most decadent cheesecake which I am constantly nibbling on.   Hey, can I freeze cheesecake?????  Don't know that I can eat the whole thing before it would go bad.   Some of my iPad accessories have arrived; hopefully the iPad won't be far behind.   Am getting excited to get it--hope I can figure out how to use it!!!!

We have severe storm warnings just north of us.   We've had a couple wild blows last few days.   Whoever pisst Mother Nature off, wish they would apologize and calm her down!

Beans--glad you shared Wahine's BBB tip--I'll keep that in mind because I am always fighting with someone over something!  Ohhhh, good news--after 8 months of back and forth with IRS, FINALLY got a letter the other day admitting that we do NOT owe them any money!    Am worried, though, that our returns will now be flagged for audits.....always something to stew over.   But, there is nothing I hate more than to be wrongly accused of anything!

grabbing my dog beers and heading back to the pool....oh yeah--everyone be careful--I lost my spikey crown so don't go throwing yourself into a hammock without looking first!

Thank you all again for helping make this such a special day for me!!!  huggssss to ALL!

    Hi LadieZ.....

Back from the Solstice Parade, so ready to continue the PAR-TAY.  Should be icing my ankle though, as wiped out on my bicycle on the way there.  Went anyway, but had to have a neighbor come rescue me to get back.

Thought I would invite these gentlemen....... - Claire

Yay, Junies in da house! Sorry, I stole your crown, I want to portend I am the princess today. So glad you are having a great birthday. And gawd, cheese cake, yum yum yum. That is one my weaknesses. I never buy it but if I do, will chow it down slice after slice every few minutes.

Claire, sorry about the wipe out. I hope you are alright and am glad I did not see it, I have this terrible natural instinct to laugh when these things happen. I pee myself laughing watching gymnastics, dancing,  just about anything of the like. I don't know why, but I do. I was watching dancing w/ the stars and had to rewind six times when Kirstie Ally fell down. I felt terrible for her and I love her. I can make you dinner if you like Lean Cuisines.

I just got home from work. I did not go until 5pm as I did not have it in me to get there this morning.

Kathy, great great pics from you and everyone. This is a great toga party, do you see me? I am wearing the crown, perhaps I will give it back to Junie. So nice that she is having a great time.

And Gail, OMG, how could he? How could she? You must be so hurt and angry over this.  Men can be such evil SOB's. As you know, I "know people" who can hurt him. Perhaps have his balls cut off? I get a great discount from "my people" for "you people". It will not cost a dime.  I wonder what the son thinks of all this.  How old is he and was he the only child of your friend?  Glad to worked out with WD and Corgi. It sounds so nice where you are located. I wish I could wiggle my nose and show up for a drink with you. I was also born in the 60's and my teen years where the 70's.I wish I had old pics to post. I haven't a scanner. I had really buck teeth and still have an overbite despite five years of braces.

Lori, I need to go back and revisit you photos. I was just scrolling when i saw them due to time constraints.

Well I am going to give our Junebug her crown back. So loved all the pics posted, you girls do a great job. I could do better and will try. Just wait until after surgery, hanging out at the htl at the percofountain....I will post some pics for sure. I love being high on the michael jackson drug too (propothal)? Thank God for drugs otherwise I could not deal with the scapel. Oh sorry, this is supposed to be happy talk. Well I am happy and seems everyone is happy. I hope to bump into you happy gals at the swim up bar...THAT is where the dude pops outta Junie's cake...wooo hooo!

Hi DorK......  Fortunately, I was able to hobble to Safeway and back so having a lamb chop with leftover couscous and veggies.  And some good cab.  You are invited, even if late.

BTW, I recommend wine to take the edge off sports injuries.

Hope you had the most fab birthday Junie!!!

Don't worry Dorothy.  I felt quite stupid wiping out.  Fortunately, didn't do it at all last year when getting hammered, and then recovering.

BTW - some people from my healthcare system were in the parade.  One wore a nurse's uniform, but was painted on.

Still the most fun time, even if chilly and hurting. - Claire

Thanks for the invite Claire, you are kind. But I do not eat Mary's little lamb. I have great guilt in eating any meat but am not vegan. Are you gonna show up for Junie's toga party? The tenders will keep you comfy, I promise. Junie would love to see you there. You need to find more time to spend at the lounge. You can drink the best wine in the world and not have to pay un dime!

I am still not drunk, odd for a saturdey night. I am here alone, in my toga waiting for you all!

DorK.....I have a bacon blue cheeseburger in the freezer.  Hope that works.

I am off to bed in a few.  Disgustingly early, but I think sleep will help most of all with the swollen ankle.

I need warm enough to wear a toga.  Am in a wool sweater. - Claire

Ok, I have no idea what happened to my post. so I will try and fix this.

Claire - I'm so sorry to hear about your fall, but glad you had a good reason to drink a nice glass of wine!

Junie - Happy Birthday!!!  Looks like the girls started a toga party to celebrate your special day!

Goldie - I hope everything is going okay witht the fires.  You have such beautiful hair!  I wish I had hair like yours.  I love the pics!!!!

Speaking of pics, I found a couple of me when I was a youngin.  The first one is from high school, when I thought the a-symmetrical look was cool.  I grew it out, but it makes me laugh.  My hair is only a bit shorter than that now.  Maybe I could go for that look again - LOL!  The 2nd was me in college, but I pretty much looked like this throughout the 80's and early 90's.  :)

Kathy, I had to chuckle when you said DH needed the allen wrench and YOU didn't have that size! I am not surprised he forgot it, since you are the one that uses them!

Thanks Astorm! What a piece of scum you neighbor is. Do you think the baby is his? WOW............that is all I can say, WOW!

BeanZ, glad you got things cleared up with that $30. So nice that Kathy helped you. You probably spent more time and money on stamps, paper and like I said you time, that well exceeded $30!

Junie, so glad you had a great day. My DH is like you and hates to be told he owes anything too. We had one company that was always sending emails that we owed on such and such invoice, he would get so pissed, cuz he would have to log into bank acct. and find the check that cleared for that amount, and send copy to them, He pays the bills as soon as they come in. Well come to find out, that gal was embezzling and is no longer there. Now we know how she was getting extra cash!

Sorry about your fall Claire. That ride looks like some rainbow pride?

DorK, going in to work at 5pm on a Saturday? You are one committed chicky! So funny you wanting to be the Princess! But glad it was you that took it, so no one would sit on it!

Hey Heather! Love your pictures too, you are such a little cutie! Then and now. I hear ya ‘bout the curlz! Hope you are sticking around for a bit.

We got some of the videos done, but then the wind started and it was 80 degrees by 8am, so had to stop. Might try and do more today. Then I have the fun of editing and making it complete. Wanted to wish all the hubbies here, that are Daddies "HAPPY FATHER'S DAY".

Good morning ladies! I have been up all night partying but darn, seems bc.org went down for awhile. I posted the above last night and wanted to add another attachment, then got a funky error message in clicking the green tree thingy. I tried to open up a new page but could not get in either. So this morning, logged in then went to the error message, hit back, then walaa, it let me send.

Did any of you other girls have issues getting into the lounge? I think they flagged me and locked the door behind me haha.

KittyKat, your pics are so pretty, love your smile.  You are still as beautiful and seems only the hair style has changed. It is nice to see you here.

Karen, glad you are able to get the wine down and enjoy a little buzz. We all need that now and then.

Lori, I went back and visited your pics. So cute! I loved the yellow hot pants and halter top. Geez, takes me back to the 70's. The plaid vest was super cool, don't you wish you saved it lol. I really love when you gals show so much of yourselves.  I do not have a scanner but one of these days I will get with the times. Technology just irritates me as it never works like it is supposed to (maybe I am hitting the wrong buttons per se).

Where's the DOTD? I guess I will just have a Toga to start my day. The party is still hopping.

Have a great sunday all. I have some work to do around the house but otherwise, I will be parked in my favorite bar stool all day long!!!

Peace and happy Sunday, God's day!! I  am thankful for each and every one of you.

ps...Angelice, love the avatar...which one is you? Stop on back now, ya hear? And fetch Chrissy on your way!!

Goldie and Angelice, sorry I bumped you gals. And hey, who is Heather, is that our newest loungette, Angelice?? I thinks me missed something.

And Happy Father's day to all you girls. Every day is fathers day really. Ha! I got so wrapped up at work, I found my fathers day cards in a pile on my desk yesterday. I will just make my calls and send some Olive Garden gift cards out.  oops, that darn job really cramps my style.

My little brother lost his wife six years ago on Fathers day.  She was only 48 and died from a massive heart atttack. That is the reason I keep my blood pressure in check. Not to be Debbie Downer but want to remind all you girls and your loved ones to always check the blood pressure, it really is a silent killer.

So who is here partying all night??

I'm here Dotty!!!  Wad up?  I'm getting over my hangover from the other night.....boy I really tied one on didn't I?  Took the dressing off the face today so I could clean and redress it and had a good ole gander (look) at it.....looks like I've got a zipper running down the cheek and I have this cotton ball stitched to the top of my ear!  Yeah you heard me!  A cotton ball stitched to the top of my ear.......not quite the latest fashion but hey...I just might start a new trend....lol

Have a great Father's Day all!!!  Think I'll just head out to the deck and get some rays as I'm not allowed to get this ear wet.   PaNtS!!!!    Something long and........okay, okay....bring your mind up above the belt and let me finish........COLD!!!!

Heather, Wow....you were gorgeous back then too! Thanks for sharing the pics.....love them!

Lori, I let DH handle things like *plumbing* that I do NOT want to learn about...LOL. SO, actually this was his project he needed the allen wrench for. Needless to say, our new expensive faucet that we had plumber install about 5 mo ago has a horrid leak. (Put same one in townhouse too). The co sent DH a replacement cylinder, BUT think he stripped the faucet trying to take out something w/ wrong size wrench. eeccckkkkk! He doesn't try to install faucets (although I know its easy for some), but did want to try to fix it. I told him not to worry, that its a learning experience, but actually I am very tired of hearing the drip..drip..drip! All the stuff I know how to do is just from yrs of learning and trying things, so I don't expect him to be able to do things all of a sudden (although it WOULD be nice....LOL).

A prob we have is getting nasty calls for others!!! Any relative that does not pay bills, the collectors call us, and I totally hate that! We always pay our bills, but get calls all the time for others. They even called us trying to find my ex who I divorced over 30 yrs ago!!! Even had the deputy(?) come to our house, looking for a distant relative who has never lived with us. And now all the letters and visits from people looking for our ex-tenant....thank god we don't get CALLS for her debts too! And Lori, that really is terrible that the woman was embezzling, and it caused your DH all that stress and having to send in proof of payment! Thank God it got straightened out.

Angelice that is a beautiful pic for your avatar...are you in it? What part of Australia are you in?

DorK, yes, I FINALLY saw you....that camo toga made you nearly invisible! Are you trying to get in lots of hours and make lots of $$$ before your next surgery? I forget how long you will be at home after the surgery, but hope you can rest a bit beforehand too!!!

Yes, I echo Lori in wishing all the fathers out there a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!

Hope all you girlz will have a nice Sunday too!!! After we rest a bit, we need to continue our partay so NM can join in tomorrow! Looks like the TT's and Wenches are restocking all the likker, getting all the glasses washed and destroying any incriminating evidence. Oh, what would we do without them? Glad your birthday was so nice, Junie, just like you!

    Cheerio!

Ok, I am slow but now thinking that Heather is our Kittykat?

Yes, RW, I am trying to close as many loans this month as possible and also rake in the OT. Although I do not go on disability until 7/21, I will get an average of commission for the year and my regular pay but this year it is only 66.6 percent, last year I got paid 100%. It is all about me this round. I plan on telling management just before I go out. I want to wait until after a coworkers vacation as I will be damned if I will bust my ass working her loans and making her money. I am hungry for money. After all, I am drinking Makers Mark these days and it cost more than JD lol. I will be out 2-4 weeks this time. Praying for this to be the one that goes smooth.

If the hounds call you again looking for others, do tell them that if they call again, you will report them as it is illegal to continue to call, especially when this debt is not yours. You may want to keep an eye on your credit ie credit monitoring too and make sure non of this is going against you. You can get a free credit report once a year from all three reporting repositories.  If you need addresses, I can get them to you. Always best to write as you will get stuck in a "push this and push that" loop should you try to call and it is nearly impossible to get a human on the phone  Credit reporting is a joke, they are all so sloppy. One would think that this would change after all these years. There was another DorK in my county with the same name including middle initial. So many things were put on MY credit. Hello, why not check the SS# before throwing it against every DorK in the state?? lol but really.  Anyway, good luck with the leak and I will see you for TOGA WEEKEND PAU HANA!!!

Chrissy darling, I promise not to spash you. Glad your spirit is good despite your ears being glued on and your poor beautiful face. You are always beautiful as ever, beauty is skin deep.  Any more planning happnin' on your trip to the USA?

Planning is as follows......I will see you beginning of September if that is okay.......question.....is a weekend better for you or what...I don't want to put you out at all by being there and how long  just a weekend or a few days more.  This part is up to you and my arrival will depend on that.  Also when I depart your place, which airport is easiest for you as I will be going to Nth Carolina from there.  I want to try and book all my flights from here so I really know exactly where I am on what date and what airports are best for the people I will be staying with.......does all that make sense?  It's getting late so I'm not sure....ask questions if it doesn't...lol

    Love you all!.   Chrissy

    Chrissy,

YAY! september is perfect as my DD will be back to her dorm. She was kind enough to offer her bedroom. It is quite cute and she has the best bed in the house - a euro pillow top mattress. It is new. She won't even let me sleep in her bed but I told her that I have a VIP guest coming up from down under and she said ok. You can stay as long as you'd like to. I am not sure of my schedule since I am having my left TE put back on 7/21 but will try to schedule so that this will not interfere. I could always try to plan my exchange surgery a week before you come so we can party and I will be on disability. I will share my percocets too!! It is lose on my end but early sept will work. I will not have alot of time off since I will be out for two surgeries and the first week is my own time before disability kicks in.

Question, do you drive on the right or left of the road there? You could be my chauffeur and drive my hot wheels if I am recovering. I have a good old time after surgery as long as I have the percofountain up!!  Not sure if you are interested in seeing the sights in Philly, alot of history there. After all, that is where the US constition was signed and the home of Ben Franklin and Betsy Ross, the maker of our American Flag. I am not much for tourism (walking) but they have horse carriage rides which I have never tried.

Let's all celebrate, Chrissy is coming to America.  Of course our new friend, Angelice can tag along, the more the merrier!!!  Yippee, I am so excitied and very honered that you have chose to come see me.  I could cry tears of happiness but instead, I have glued a cotton ball to my ear in your honor!

    CheeRz!!!!

As for airports, you will want to fly out of PHL (Philadelphia, it is a hop, skip and a swim over the Delaware River).  Are you flying into NY to see friends there? If not, it may be best to fly into PHL.  I can have DH fetch you if I am working at the time. He is still living with his mom and I will keep him there for awhile longer lol. Am I bad or what?  I may be able to make arrangements for him to get you in the limo.  You deserve to be pampered even outside the htl.

Dotty you just crack me up girl!!!   thank you for gluing a cotton ball to each ear in my honour.........lol.  I think the flight from here will come into La Guardia.  So from there do I fly down to Philli?  I drive on the opposite to you...right...I think...lol...yes the right...sorry had to really think then.  I'd need to get an International d/licence but I guess I could try to do that......I'll check up on that.  I'm so looking forward to being there!!!  Thank your DD for me and tell her I feel very privileged that she will let me stay in her room!

Lost my post... let's try this again.

That was quite the PAR-TAY! Think I'll stick to OJ this morning... at least until I rehydrate.

Went to see Tree of Life with DH and friends. After the movie everyone looked at me like they were waiting for an explanation. It was like being at the opera -- you don't understand a word but you get the big picture.... or contemplating modern art. That didn't help them much. I guess when we go to see a movie we aren't in that frame of mind. I'm learning from my book club experiences that we all experience the work in parallel universes! So HTL was my "concrete" entertainment of the evening.

Yeah, I don't know what to think about the grieving widower. Another neighbor asked me if I knew anything and said she was hearing kids playing in the pool over there... told her I counted 3 kids (hadn't seen the baby yet) plus the man's son (I think he is 16 as he was held back a year and then went to kindergarten with my 15 YO and they were inseparable until they got into their gender groups in about 3rd grade). I assume the baby is his - unless she is one of those women who has a baby every other year with a different man and she's having an exceptional year. DD2 just let her mouth drop open when she saw the woman... then she said she felt sorry for the son but that was before we knew about the baby. I mentioned the baby to her not sure if she would get the picture but she said "do you think --" ... I said it's none of our business but the son could probably use a friend who can listen without prying, or to just to hang out. Then she said, "well I guess we can wait and see if it's hair is orange"... not sure she is ready for this. Many of her friends have had issues over the years but she adored his mother and is still feeling the loss. I have explained many times to my girls that she had a different pathology and they shouldn't draw comparisons but they probably do. This family also had a very smart daughter who is 21 now and should have graduated from college about now... She moved away (out of the area) with her boyfriend a few months ago after a visit shortly before her mom died. During the visit, her boyfriend had a terrible (and very public) fight with her father, and they left and she hasn't been seen or heard from since (according to her dad). She didn't come to the service. I was suspecting maybe she was a wayward child but now I wonder if maybe they knew about her dad's affair. Ok, I understand that the woman was ill for a long time and that we all grieve in our own way, but if I were terminally ill I would expect my DH to want to absorb every moment of my last days and cherish them. Don't know how you can do this if you've already moved on. So much for not drawing comparisons!

Our friends are visiting from Chicago this evening, so it's off to the market with me. I'll be back for a little nip later!

Gail, Have a fun evening with your friends! Yeah, it sounds like the widower's DD and her boyfriend may have found out about the affair....really sad, all the way around.

Chrissy, So glad you will be able to visit with DorK! You both better take lots of pictures to share!! Wish you could visit with all of us, but do understand time constraints. Just very happy that this trip is coming to fruition. Yeah, we do drive on opposite sides of the road...in the US we drive on the right hand side, and in Australia you drive on the left. We did have a little mishap in NZ, w/ our rental van the 1st day, as even though we were sooooo tired from the flights, we were anxious to start seeing the country. It might be hard for you to drive DorK around, as it is quite hard to get used to driving on the opposite side. We have never gotten international drivers licenses, even though we have rented cars in other countries. Will your flight to NYC be your first stop after leaving OZ? Very exciting!!!

DH made his yummy whole wheat banana pancakes, while I was sweating (I mean *glistening*) painting outside. Since I had given him a gas grill earlier for Fathers Day, today he got a new espresso machine from Maverick and Molly! Hoping we might take the kayaks out late today, after it gets a bit cooler.....sooooo hot these days! How is everyone's day going today???

    Terrific Toga Time to TaTas,

    Kathy

I am just fine, but couldn't do the bicycle ride with my friend.  So we caught up, and I made breakfast.  She is going off alone.  I am happy that my ankle doesn't hurt unless I do something like get on a bicycle.  So next weekend.

So excited you are coming here Chrissy.

I need to scrounge up a sleeping bag and air mattress for the indoor camping.  Not items I want to own, at least not at this point.  I think the perfect items to borrow.

Dry today which is annoying as wouldn't have wiped out if it hadn't been wet and slick.

I am fine driving on the opposite side, but wouldn't recommend one's first experience be on the NJ Turnpike.  In fact, my life will be complete if I never drive on it again.  I wouldn't want to drive in Central London either, but was fine in the countryside.

Need to find an activity that doesn't require I use my legs that much.......

Wish I could have some whole wheat banana pancakes.   There's an idea I could go for. - Claire

Good Sunday afternoon, Loungettes! Nice calm day today, got to go to church, no major crises, everything caught up, at least until the work phone rings again! Beautiful day, too! Got to stop at a farmer's market yesterday, got fresh eggs, tomato plants, goat's milk soap. Great haul!

Wahine--I never could understand people who sleep in front of the TV and then complain they can't sleep at night. I'm like, ah, you get your sleep in the evening, do you really expect to sleep at night? Then the next thing they're complaining about not having enough time to do this or that project around the house--umm, maybe because you were ASLEEP? Do the projects at night if you want to sleep in the evening! Good grief, Mom, get a grip (oops, did I say Mom out loud?)

Kymn--Hooray for only one more to go!

Claire--I have done the paperwork for non-profit status when a bunch of us got to gether and started an investment club. It was a huge amount of work, and nothing I would want to do again. Sounds like you are well on your way to a terrific interview! Keep up the research and networking and you will be in a grand new job in no time.

Beanie--I'm currently lounging in a hammmock with Happy Juice in my water bottles and feeling quite calm and relaxed. Hoping the phone doesn't ring and make me jump and spill my dwinkies! All you Loungettes are obviously far ahead of me in the dwinkie department! I'm just giggling and giggling at you all!

DorK--I never knew you were Italian! You sure do have the accent! Is it my imagination or is the accent getting thicker as you get dwunker????

Junie--that is one BIG toga! Definitely drown anyone who tries to swim in it!

Karen--it was muggy here yesterday, but beautiful today! Great brisket recipe, I'm gonna have to copy that one down. . .

Boy, Junie's got on one really SHORT Toga!Somebody's scissors slipped, methinks!

Nude cyclists? That sounds downright painful.

Angelice--Welcome to the HTL! Lotsa good dwinkies here!

Hmm, what is this I see on the HTL secret video monitor tapes? I see someone with more than one kind of drink at a time! I shudda known you ladies would go whole hog and try them all--which was exactly what I wanted you all to do! The Lounge is for FUN and DWINKING!

Why is Junie running around with a big pin? OH! I SEE! (tee hee, tee hee)

DorK--yet another use for pantyhose! Maybe we nee to start a What To Do With Pantyhose Besides Wear Them thread???

June bug Beer and Ale has me LMAO!!!!!

Astorm--boy didn't take neighbor's DH (and that's not DEAR, either) very long to move the girlfriend in, did it? What a suhleeze! And don't knock the AARP--you'll be surprised at the discounts it gets you! 20% off at Denny's after 4 pm. 10 to 15% at most other restaurants. Airfare and hotel and car rental discounts. I flash that little card everywhere I go!

Cheesecake will freeze quite nicely! I used to order gourmet cheesecakes and they came frozen. Didn't take long to thaw, either.

Wine as a treatment for sports injuries? Sounds like a winner to me1

Kittykat! Good to hear from you! I LIKE the asymmetrical look!

Cotton ball stitched to the top of the ear????

DorK has some good advice. Next time one of them calls, say "I am recording this call. It is (time) on (date). The press the memo button on your answering machine. If they are calling outside of legal hours and if they call back after you record telling them not to call you, THEY pay YOU big $$$$$! If your answering machine doesn't have a memo feature, use any button that makes a beep or sound.

Am I losing my mind or do marriage vows still include "in sickness and in health, until death do us part"? Or is there some new thing that says a terminally ill spouse is a good reason for adultery? The guy is a class A jerk.

Whole wheat banana pancakes sound too yummy!

OKK, gotta run make a visit, catch you all later!

LMAO NM! Soooo glad you could join us tonight instead of waiting till tomorrow....we might be toooo dwunk by then. Yes, the whole wheat banana pancakes are to die for....we found the recipe years ago and it just takes a few minutes for him to whip them up (did I say *whip?...lol).

Girls the brisket turned out sooooo yummy, but has so much fat in it! So on the other half, I will cut much more of the fat off, since it has it running all through it. I combined Claire's and Karen's recipe with one I found online, and it was purrrrrfect. Will try Junie's recipe with the other half, which right now is frozen. Tonight we are grilling turkey-type polish sausage and veggies on skewers. Just got back, off the lake! Did kayaking over an hour, and it was SUCH FUN! Sore, though! Paddled by 2 herons on the shore, saw the baby heron up in the nest, and several ducks, and small turtles. I am going to see if I can get pics up from a few days ago. SInce the lake is not straight, it has quite a shoreline, mostly with houses, but lots of trees, etc. Hardest part is hauling them in/out of the truck and to the water. Might start keeping them at my parents house!

Sorry you didn't get to go cycling Claire, but better to take care of that ankle!

Junie, did you see the pic NM posted of you in the toga I cut tooooo short??? YOU have been keeping that body hidden....LOL.

Kymnie, Hang in there! Wasn't that a neat thing that Lori did on the computer, for your Canucks? That must have taken some time to get all the characters right. Way to go, Lori.

OK, will see if I can post some pics....
