Jen, 2 weeks? I don't have that much at 8-9weeks, at least not that long.

Jen... that's two weeks?? I am 7 weeks and look like that and thought I was doing well... you are doing awesome!!
And to make it smaller next time, in the size area put 200 in each box

And you have brows!!! Or are they penciled in?
0 -
I have actual brows and lashes. I have used the Brian Joseph's gel since I started chemo in Feb. I finished chemo 06/16 so I will continue to use it until mid July. I also found a great Bobbi Brown product. It is a tinted brow gel that helps to fill in the gaps. I do have that on in the picture. While I still have my brows, they are a bit more sparse than what I started with.

Fitz33 - wait, we don't start counting from the day we finished? We start from two to three weeks after that? That makes sense, actually. I thought I was almost 14 weeks PFC - am I really 11 or 12 weeks PFC? I feel like my hair growth is a little behind, but maybe it is because I am counting from my last day of chemo?

Jen--Thanks for the suggestion on the Bobbi Brown product. My eyebrows have grown back but are a little sparse.
Here is my hair at 7 months PFC:

Here is my new avitar. Almost 5 months post chemo. I went topless with this hair to work. It was exhilarating!! A gal at work said my"new" haircut looked a bit butch and I responded that more love was not a bad thing. I though she might swallow her tongue!! Now I have her wondering.

Jenn1832, your growth is fabulous for 2 weeks. I am 9 weeks PFC and barely have as much as you.
Sunflower71, yours looks great for 14 weeks. I hope I have as much as you by then. You can easily go topless.
My brows thinned a few weeks ago and are now growing back. I never lost them entirely, fortunately. (I had TAC).0 -
this is my first haircut at 5 and half months from my last chemo tx. 0 -
Jen1832 you have some dark hairs in there too, you are well on your way.

One week out of chemo and using Nioxin scalp treatment while I have it naked LOL
Have a litttle fuzz here and there.

paula, way to leave 'em wondering! why people feel compelled to comment on new styles, clohing, etc. is beyond me. whatever happened to "if you can't say something nice, don't say it!" what response did she hope to get?
Walk tall, head up, no excuses girl! you've got the right attitude. Hope I can develop the same when I go topless. I am on 4 wks PFC and just a lot of fuzz up top so far. but Nioxin is speeding things up I think0 -

Everyone looks great!
Bdavis- Thanks! That is my natural hair color, which I have not seen since the age of 15, when I got a hold of "Sun-In" . Ever since then, I have been messing with the color. The pic above is me the morning of my first chemo. 2 weeks later my hair was gone! When my hair first came in it was colorless mixed with grey, as it grew it got darker. I do have some grey left, but not many. Your growth is coming along great, you will be topless before you know it.
Jen1832- I am running out and getting that brow gel, your brows look fantastic! And your hair is growing quick!

I can't wait u till I have complete scLp coverage and can go topless!.. I especially hate wearing a halo and baseball cap tp work out in..the hot weathers doesn't help!
Sunflower your eyes really pop with the darker hair..looks great
Jen you have so much hair for 2 weeks wow..looking good!0 -
So my last chemo was early February and while the back of my head has some growth, the top is still pretty much not growing, at least not up the front sides. It's fuzzy fur like. I'm in Georgia, so it is hot here, but it doesn't really matter, call me crazy - I'm actually getting used to wigs and I really like 'em! I wear them to work or dressy things and I weat hats most other times. I do go out in my pool out back without a hat, but have to put sunscreen on up there, that's for sure!! It's great to not have to spend time fixing my hair, just throw on the wig...and the options are endless! I have several; I've traveled with them in the last few months and it's really great to be able to change things up. Today I wore a red one to work..it's my "I'm in a fun mood' one!! So - being hairless isn't the end of the world and not the worst of things. Embrace it girls, have fun with it, enjoy it and remember, it won't last 4ever (but I may keep wearing wigs, it's kind of fun!)

Spitnspunk...that's for adding the positive spin on things!

I used to get so bored with a hairstyle but always had to wait for it to grow out to do something different, no more! It's also kind of fun to keep people guessing what my next look will be. I didn't ask for this ride but I got it so I figure I may as well have fun along the way. I may seem a little "off" but really, if I've learned anything from this cancer experience it's that nothing is guaranteed, so enjoy life every day, have a little fun, be a little crazy!! It works wonders on stress.:)

Congratulations, everyone's pictures look great. I went topless during a recent trip to Arizona and have not worn my wig for three weeks now. I was very nervous the first time out but how liberating it feels to drive down the road with the wind blowing my inch long hair and not to worry about how I look. At this point, I don't really care as long as I am happy!! Take care everyone.

Thanks everyone! I went out to dinner with my DH tonight and rode back home in the convertible. The scarf came off and the wind felt so good! It is in the high 90s here. I can't wait to be able to go without head coverings for good. There is no way that I will make it 3 months without color either. My sideburns are truly white! Congrats to all of you that are able to go topless.
Spitnspunk - you go girl. You are right, you gotta have fun!
Sunflower71 - when I have that kind of coverage, I am going topless. All I want is for my scalp to be covered. Cute!
