DorK, I will play - high for the day is right now, snuggling on my couch in my sweats with my kitty cat on my lap. Low was having to host 15 people for a party I didn't feel like throwing. I do it every year, should have bailed on this one...

Busy day running errands to get everything done that I need to do before I leave early Sunday morning.....think I got everything done....Now I just have to pack...needs to be done by candle lighting tomorrow......Saturday night after Shabbat is over, DH and I are going to the holiday party from one of my schools....we went last year and DH had a great time...he actually asked to go.....Want to get up early tomorrow and get my cooking done early, so if I have time, I can get a manicure.....making Chanukah dinner tomorrow since I won't be home for most of Chanukah...making latkes, sufganiot (Israeli donuts...hope they come out good...only made them once before and I didn't like the recipe...trying a new one), brisket, chicken wings and not sure what else....my gf is going to join us......So speaking of packing....I'm going to starty laying out my clothes....Will try to check in tomorrow.....Sweet dreams...

A carpet installer decides to take a cigarette break after completing the installation in the first of several rooms he has to do. Finding them missing from his pocket he begins searching, only to notice a small lump in his recently completed carpet-installation. Not wanting to rip up all that work for a lousy pack of cigarettes he simply walks over and pounds the lump flat. He decides to forgo the break continues on to the other rooms to be carpeted.
At the end of the day he's completed his work and loading his tools into his trucks when two events occur almost simultaneously: he spies his pack of cigarettes on the dashboard of the truck, and the lady of the house calls out "Have you seen my parakeet?"

NM, that was so sweet of Sadie to be so kind to Stella. But we all love Stella and DorK let her come home. I think she was talking about poop or something. Or calling Mary Ellen a ho? I foyget. But I must add, that we all look really cute in our bean bag chairs!

THE DARK SIDE

3/4 oz amaretto almond liqueur
3/4 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
3/4 oz dark creme de cacao
3/4 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur
3/4 oz triple sec
3 scoops vanilla ice cream
chocolate syrup
Mix all ingredients in mixer, pour into highball glass.

Optional - Frost glass with chocolate syrup before pouring.

Karen, Hope you got all packed and are on the way to getting all your baking done! So glad you will be back visiting your parents soon, I know you are anxious to see them, but prolly also concerned on what you might need to help them with. Your parents are lucky to have such a caring daughter!!!

YES, sometimes you can go to different registers, but much easier in a large store like JCP with registers spread out, then in a grocery store where the registers are all together. I hope to go there today.  I am so happy you and Lisa will get to meet! I think she will be the first gal you are meeting from our drinking thread? The DOTD sounds really yummy....I love sweet dwinks, so will partake of those, definately.

Lori, Ouch! Wow, you turned and whacked me with dat new big rack of yours....guess you need to get used to them, OR did ya do dat on poipose??? Just kidding. Now if you can pull off the "innocent one" with a rack like that, well you will get an award! Ya see, I "look" innocent, so no one expects my gutter mind...lol. I used to be a wild child, can you tell? Didn't have a cycle though....I think you did? Or at least I saw a pic of you with a cycle. I got burnt bad on one....wasn't supposed to ride, so when a guy took me around Waikiki on one, I was holding on for dear life, and didn't even know my leg was getting badly burned till I got off! Then I had to throw on a long muumuu (boy they are good for some things!) every day when I got home from school, and on weekends so my mom wouldn't see. Well, one day...yup...I foigot...and right away she knew where THAT burn came from! I usually got away with stuff, but really slipped up that day.

Pants, dear, ohhhhhh how sweet of you. Pants brought me a tray of the Packing the Bags dwinks....right to my lounge chair. Anyone need a refill??? Gonna maybe take it easy today. Was going to have my last class with the trainer, but it is rainy and I was up most of the night, and just might cancel and go shopping instead! Now THAT sounds like a plan!!! LOL.

*hic* never heard of that DorK. It took me awhile to belly up to the bar, as I was *helping* Pants straighten out the likker room.  So whats your dwink like?
