Karen, sorry I bumped ya, glad you did not have a dwink to spill but heck, I say WALK to CVS and get that wine. Tell your Mom you need to pick up a card for your Dad or something like that. Maybe you can borrow her car???? We were in the same position at my parents house. I ended up finding a bottle of Crown Royal. It had about five years of dust on it. I bought a bottle and refilled it so that my Dad would not know. There are times when me tinks I am too old to be hiding my dwinking from them but I do it more out of respect (and do it behind their backs, ooops, am I a bad daughter??)

Kathy, forgot to mention - good for you in getting the travel plans squared away....

    CheerZ!

LOL DorK I was going to write the same thing, and tell Karen to WALK, RUN, or DRIVE to CVS and get some wine!!! Getting ready to get on the bus tomorrow, well prolly the middle of da night, since you gotta be there at 6 am.....yikes that is early, I might as well just stay up!! And heck, what d'ya mean telling me not to pinch the cute resident's hineys???? You my mom, or sumtin?? J.K.....but just wait till you are out like a light.....then I can pinch any of them that show up and are cute! We will keep the dr and nurses in line, so they will take GOOD care of you!!! Will also be thinking of you all day tomorrow!!!  So cute finding the barbie stuff....I prolly have stuff like that around somewhere too. ANd the "ho ho ho" from de ho Elizabeth...priceless! Maybe you will remember "Jan Ken Po"...you would surprise the heck out of who ever you say it to! Take care, god speed, can't wait for you to post after your surgery!!! Luv and Hugs!!!
Karen, get that wine, and PRONTO!!! You need it to be able to deal with everything while you are there. Hope things will go well tomorrow!

Hi to everyone!!!! Gotta get bizzy here, so will chat latah!

OMG, Kathy - I love ya girl. Your post was great, I was digging it as I was reading (LMAO at "you my mom?" then got to another great signoff..."cheerio, mistletoe, Elazabeth is a HO" hahahahaha! Thanks for the giggles. And feel free to pinch any cute hineys you see. A few surgeries ago, I had the most adorable hunk of an anesthesiologist who was a resident. It was love at first sight. It well may have been the dwugs dey gave me to relax but I tailed him that I wanted to wake up with him spooning me in my widdle bed! I tend to get silly after having the propofol. I wish it was as easy for all the girls to tolerate (enjoy) de dwug. I confess that I have told people on the outside world that I can see the appeal that Michael Jackson had to the stuff. I actually enjoy the buzz toooo much. I wake up very hyper. When I had an ablasion to my uterus, prior to BC, I got scolded by a nurse who finally told me that others around me were in recovery and that I should close my eyes and rest. I wake up ready to eat and ready to dwink. Seriously, I do tolerate it quite well and know I am lucky. Good thing as I think this is the 7th time being under since 7/2010.

I WILL be finding foil too, ya see it ain't all bad...... Gotta fly, time to eat. Again ;-)

     CheerZ!

I hope our Karen is en route to de CVS. Or better yet, swigging from de bottle as she walks!

STELLA,GOLDIE-Hope you're pleased. This was not the dirtiest the phone has been but it was bad enough. I was sending another girl a pm about our weighing the risks/benefits of rads. A very serious conversation. Well this phone though it would be funny to change things up a bit. I wanted it to type"THE RISK OF LUNG CANCER WORRIES ME THE MOST." But it typed "THE RISK OF LUNG CANCER PENIS WORRIES ME."  Well clearly that is NOT worrying either of us. I swear i'm going to wash its circuitry out with soap. I better get to shopping as I have yet to purchase anything for my xmas dinner,i'm so behind on the preps. DORK/STELLA-Try to smuggle a hottie out of the hospital for the htl. We're getting low here. I don't know where they all went. (Damn it Mr Big,get back in my closet!)  Edited to say STELLA-Stay away from the drinks before surgery, thins the blood.

OMG unde, you sure DO have a dirty phone.....I am totally lost on the phone bit though. Musta missed something. When we were in Ireland I didn't get to ketchup on ANY posts while away, so not sure when I missed the phone stuff.

Should see if Jaybird might be in Amsterdam when my DD and I will be there....gonna have a few hrs (7) to get to leave the airport and go into town. OR if she will be in Paris when we have a 4 hr stop there. Jaybird, are you reading this??? Not till late Mar, early Apr, so we do have time!!!

Hope eberyone is doing weally, weally well. We can ketchup on Dork's antics, tomorrow while we are teeny tiny and pinching a cute heiny. They'll never see us, and wonder what that tiny pinch was from.....lo.

JohnBoy's a nerd, gonna flip him a bird, won't utter a word, he won't know what he heard! (p.s. he heard "Elizabeth's a Ho"....there I said it again....see what you started Dorkie!)

Hi Loungettes.....After I signed off...told Mom I was going for a walk....Walked to CVS (15 - 20 min walk)....got a bottle of wine...came back and told Mom that I walked to CVS and got a bottle of wine and did she want a glass....of course she said YES!!!  she then said she had a bottle for tomorrow....well its wine zinfandel...not my taste and told her.....she was not insulted!!!  I bought an inexpensive bottle but it is okay....have had better but it sure taste good!!!  Mom has 2 glasses.....I think I'm on my 3rd, but the wine glasses are small....will probably have another....will get another bottle for tomorrow and then there should also be enough for Wednesday......The walk was nice....it was on a main road outside their neighborhood, but I felt safe.....Glad that I went....and even "gladder" that Mom had a glass as well....At dinner, when Mom was playing, Dad told me that he enjoyed my visit....I told him I'm not leaving yet....so he said I'm enjoying it....Mom is also happy that I'm here....And needless to say, I am happy to be here.....The SW who came today, is trying to hook Mom up with the Altzheimer/Dementia home care.....hopefully they can come out before I leave....Mom is just so overhwelmed with it all....but its just one step at a time.....She is not ready to consider or even to look at facilities for Dad when the time comes.....that will be for another trip......Going to plan on a trip in February....DH is busy, busy in January....he has his sales meeting, a show and a few other trips that will have him gone a couple one week trips......Plus my SIL turns 30 the beginning of Feb and thinking it would be nice for DH to go help him celebrate.....

DorK...so sorry that Stella doesn't know how to behave herself....but she sure does add a lot of fun to this thread.....

Kathy....are you driving the bus tomorrow morning....since I'm on the east coast, at least I don't have to get up as early as if I was in Denver....

Undercover....too funny about what you wrote...or your phone wrote!!!!

Now I'll wish everyone sweet dreams and cheer the loungettes with my glass of cabernet....See everyone tomorrow....and DorK....we promise to make sure you are well taken care of, but we won't promise to behave ourselves!!!!!

Ooops, Karen, I bumped ya. Can you babysit Stella? I wannna tail you someting. I am so PROUD of ya. I can picture you walking the streets in Florida with one goal....a DWINK! It sounds like the walk did more good than only copping a bottle of chardanay! I am really glad you took the walk. Yippee for you. It sounds like you and your Mom had a nice time together. Sometimes it is best to just forget your worries for a period of time while trying to come to terms with what is in front of you. You are in a tough place, as is your mother and father. Having a night to step outside of the pain is just so precious. I had a few of those nights when I visited my parents and I try to reflect on those pleasant times with my parents.

Okay, DH is telling me it is shower time. Ugh, he is a pest. Perhaps I will punish him and make him babysit de Stella.

One Christmas, a long time ago, Santa Claus was getting ready for his annual trip; but there were problems ...... everywhere.
Four of his elves were away sick and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones. So, Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule.
Then, Mrs. Claus popped in to tell Santa that her mother was coming to stay for Christmas; which stressed him even more.
After a while, he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and run away, heaven knows where to.
Then, when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards broke and several large toy-bags fell to the ground, scattering their contents all over the place. Needless to say, Santa was not in the best of moods.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang and he went to the door expecting another problem. But when he opened it, there was a little angel with a great big Christmas tree that she had brought especially to cheer him up.
The angel greeted him very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas Santa Claus. Isn't it just a wonderful day? I have a beautiful tree for you. See, isn't it just the loveliest Christmas tree you've ever seen? Where would you like me to put it?"

Thus began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

    For Dorkthy

One day a lady went into a fishing shop to buy her husband a fishing pole for his birthday.

She picked up a really nice looking pole and asked the salesman how much it was. The sales man says, "I am blind but if you give me the pole I can tell how much it is by the weight."

So the lady gives him the pole and he says, "That pole is worth $45." She was amazed at how cheap that was.

So then she picked up another really nice pole, hands it to the man and he says, "This pole is worth $55." she decided that was also really cheap.

And then she picks the nicest looking pole in the place and handed it to the man and he says, "This pole is our best and it is $70." she told him that she would take it.

As she was getting the fishing pole all rung up, she had to fart really really badly. She decided since the man was blind that it really wouldn't matter if she farted in front of him so she just let it loose.

All of a sudden the man says, "It all comes up to $80."

Confused the lady says to him, "But you said the fishing pole was only $70."

He said, "It is. Its $70 for the fishing pole and $10 for the duck call."

Morning HTL ladies. Am looking out my office window at the building where Dorothy's surgery is, the UFO is on the helipad and de bus is out front, so glad all youse could make it. DorK, we luv ya! Hey God, please help DorK through this surgery, make Dr. fox be at his very best! Thanks!

My last day of work for the week, yay me! So ready for a Christmas break right now! Will be staying with my DMIL, she is 82 and just wonderful, am very lucky to have her. The day we got married, she pulled me aside and said, "I have 6 children, but Richard is my prize!". Probably says that to all the in laws, but I thought it was adorable! Have been calling my DH my prize a lot lately...

Karen, good call for the wine, plus a bit of exercise as a bonus. Hope things are wonderful!

Kathy, hope you Mom is okay, I am sure it is tough to be separated from her.

Gotta get a lot of work done. Hope we can all stay small and quiet for DorK...

Cheers, Beers and DorKiest being safely through and home sitting on her Rears! Lisa

DorK, Can you tell we are all here? They have already put you under, but we are ALL here trying really hard to be quiet and good. But you know the Tattie Tenders....they kept plying us with likker on the bus and the UFO, so we are really giggly and acting silly. Hope we don't embarrass you. Oops....just got a little pinch in...you are right...those residents sure are HUNKS. But you are our first priority and we will make sure you get taken care of weally, weally well. Oh and you don't have to worry about Stella gettin' into twouble...she has already left in an interns pocket. Oh wait....I guess that means she prolly IS getting into twouble. Well, I'm sure he can handle her. At least she will be out of your hair for awhile. You take care, and I can't wait to hear from you whenever you can let us know how you are doing!!!! Luv n Hugs!!!! ((((Dorothy))))

Bernie, So funny....I love them both but the Santa one really had me going. Good one for our Dork, as she does love those "duck calls"...lol. Haven't heard any more from my dad yet, about my mom. Wish they had stayed here, then either maybe she wouldn't have gotten sick, or if she did then at least we would be able to help her.

Glad I will finally see the foot dr today....one toe is really killing me...but she is overbooked today, so will prolly be in the waiting room for hrs. My bad, for waiting so long to call. DD and family arrive tomorrow, and even tho they are staying at the Embassy Suite, I have lots of cleaning and cooking to do. Have not even started any cooking....oops.

Karen, I just heard Denver will be 18 on Thurs, is that the day you fly home, or are you going straight to visit your DD and SIL? Hope the weather is good in FL, and that things start falling into place, as far as getting help for your parents. Good thing you are there!

Hugs to all you wunnerful loungettes! Hope everyone is more ready for Christmas than I am; but I am guessing we all still have lots to do. Except for Lori, I think she is all set! How much snow did you get Lori? You had 6" (snow, girls, snow!) last I heard. We just have rain, and mild temps, so different than last Christmas when we had so much snow, which is not normal for this area. I think the retailers like that too, as more people get out to shop when they don't have to deal with snow or ice, or freezing temps. I am sure I am gonna bump someone, as I have taken too long to write.

Spiked eggnog, don't be a hog, leave some for the dog! J/K

    Good Morning Lovelies,

Wow, everyone has so much going on, it's hard to keep up!

Wahine-I've said a prayer for your precious Mom and also for your poor toes.  Be good to yourself right now and keep us posted.

Mrs. Vino-I LOVE that you have something so awesome to brag about, it's so encouraging to those of us just starting!  You are amazing, going through so much in such a short period of time and now so positive and doing so well, it's truly inspiring, so don't stop the bragging girl, keep it coming!!

Bernie-you have the BEST jokes!  No matter how yucky I feel, I know that I can always look for one of your posts and chuckle for at least a moment-sometimes that changes the whole day, so thanks!

Dorthy-so glad to hear that you handle the meds well, that is indeed a blessing.  Praying for a quick procedure, talented Docs, and speedy recovery for you dear.  Please post as soon as you are up to it, looking forward to hearing where you found your foil!  No worries bout those sexy Docs and interns, we will all be there to make sure they mind their manners and only discuss how very, very sexy you are!!

Finally resigning myself to the lesson the universe has been TRYING to teach me since this whole thing began-see I am one of those "I am superwoman and can do it all" kind of people.    From the start, each of you has chimed in saying "rest", boyfriend, Mom (BC survivor), boss, and friends all say "rest", my body says "rest"........Ok fine!!! I finally get it, lol.  Am going to go outside of my comfort level and actually call my daughter to see if she can help with some housework!!  Wish me luck, it's not in my nature to ask!

Now then, since I plan to rest today- would someone please help me find my beautiful dalmation barstool and get the tenders busy lining me up some fancy holiday drinks?!!  Something warm with whipped cream I think would be nice!

Kathy, hoping you hear something on your mom today. I am just so sorry to hear this, especially since she was just here. I'm hoping it is just a mix up on her drugs. The only time that never concerned me much, was when she was there with you. Definitely sending out prayers for her. Also glad to hear you are going to the foot doctor............ABOUT TIME girl!

Stanzie, you have been away too long. Hoping to see more of you. We do have snow, just got 6" more on Sunday. I'm certain your dinner will be just fine. And I love your new avatar, beautiful! Looks like there are a few ways of making the Poinsettia, how are you doing it?

Allison, Kathy is right, everyone looks at it differently. I actually don't pay any attention to the exact day of my diagnosis or my surgery, so I just use April. But that is when I had my surgery. Supposedly that is when you become cancer free, and that chemo and radiation are preventive measures. But there are times when surgery does NOT get all the cancer. Soooo.....pick a day. If you choose surgery day, you get to celebrate earlier!

Karen, I hope you got some wine. Had I been on last night, I would have suggested it, as you would have gotten some exercise in with the walk! Oh good, I see you got some and even shared with mom..............AND can get MORE!

DorK, DH said he's glad someone loves him, but he never thought it would be because of  his farts. I always hated to hear my daughter say that word when she was young, so I taught her that boys farted and girls "fluff". That was cute how your sister told you about your brush and shoes. You will have lots of time when you get home to share your fart stories.

Kathy, I'm laughing about you asking DorK if she is ur mom or sumptin. I think we should all do some hieny pinchin this morning. I love our Dork/Stella stories.

Shannon, thanks for the laugh, that is so funny. I hope you share more of your dirty phone. I would advise against the soap tho!

Lisa, thanks for the pic of where DorK is, if I had time I would share. But I must get my rear end in gear. I am suppose to be available to answer phones by 8 and haven't even had my shower yet. So glad you will get your well deserved break. Looking forward to hearing more from you.

I think we should have Poinsettia's today:

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 cup vodka
    • 1/4 cup Champagne
    • 1/2 cup cranberry juice
    • Crushed ice
    • 2 strips orange zest, each about 1/4-inch wide and 2 inches long
    • Directions

Combine the vodka, Champagne and juice in a large-stemmed red wine glass. Add crushed ice and stir until the mixture is well chilled. Twist the orange strips over the glass, drop them in, and serve

A family took their frail, elderly mother to a nursing home and left her, hoping she would be well cared for. The next morning, the nurses bathed her, fed her a tasty breakfast, and set her in a chair at a window overlooking a lovely flower garden.
She seemed okay, but after a while she slowly started to tilt sideways in her chair. Two attentive nurses immediately rushed up to catch her and straighten her up.
Again she seemed okay, but after a while she slowly started to tilt over to her other side. The nurses rushed back and once more brought her back upright. This went on all morning.
Later, the family arrived to see how the old woman was adjusting to her new home. "So Ma, how is it here? Are they treating you alright?"
"It's pretty nice," she replied. "Except they won't let me fart."

ROFLMAO Bernie....good fart joke! Well you taught me sumtin too....never knew "poof" was slang for homosexual! Cute about telling your DD to say "fluff" if a girl does it, Lori! Growing up, we said "poop"...like who pooped? Now, on the mainland that means shit! And it is very hard for me to say the word "fart", so I usually say "passed gas". And anudder word (like anyone cares...LOL) I find hard to say is "pee",. as we used to say "she-she", which I recently  learned came from a Japanese word for that, cuz that is what it sounds like! The first time I heard a dr use the word "pee", it totally floored me!!!  Ahhhh, changes in slang, etc., depending on where we live.
That drink looks purty, Lori! thanks!!!

Thanks everyone, for prayers, and concern for my mom. My dad said she is much better today.....was very bad cough, cold, etc. Told him to still let the dr know, so it won't end up as pneumonia. I lost a dear cousin to that, as she had gotten over being sick (or so she thought), then had "walking pneumonia", when you aren't even aware of it, and just died, at home.

Gotta run....my mommies Lori and DorK are pushing me to see the foot dr...lol. They said it may take hrs of waiting till they can fit me in. Oh well......

DorK, waiting to hear how you are doing!!!! And where you found the foil too!

Good afternoon, Loungettes! Sorry to be so long getting back on the thread, but the weekend was crazy and it took half the day Monday to finish up and half to catch up on sleep, and I had a lovely 2 hour massage this morning, came home and took a wonderful nap. So now I'm here, trying to get caught up!

OK. Seems I told DorK about the missing dish, but not the whole lounge. So here goes: Sadie has a metal dinner dish that she picks up and bangs around to remind me to feed her. Sometimes she can remind me to feed her 3 or 4 times a day about 2-3 times more often than she needs! Anyway, during the drug induced fog of the days right after surgery I remember the dinner dish getting banged a few times, and finding that Sadie opened up the bin where I keep the dog food when I wasn't quick enough. When I finally woke up enough to be coherent, I discovered the dish was missing. Searched the whole house, never found it. Until the other day.

Husker-I'm going to find some Bailey's with a Hint of Chocolate for my special Christmas drink this year-thanks to your suggestion! Hope you had a good night's sleep.

Wahine-sounds like lots going on for your this Christmas! Have fun and enjoy

Kimberly-keep coming to the lounge, you will find more and more things to smile about!

    Bernie-LOL! Again!

Goldie-great pic of Stella! If those BOTDs keep getting stronger I may have to start trying them! Never been much of a beer drinker but these are starting to sound really, really good!

Tiedy-Don't worry about staying caught up, things can move way too fast in here! Be sure to drop and let us know how you are doing-regularly! Since the Neulasta shot is giving you a lot of pain you need to talk to your Onc. There are meds that can help. One protocol I know of is to put the patient on a fentanyl patch the day of the shot. The patch lasts 3 days, just about long enough to get past the neulasta pain. You do NOT need to put up with the pain.

Lulu-I didn't know Santa had brothers!

Karen-While you are at your folk's contact both their docs and get your name put on the record as someone the office can release info to. Probably have to have your folks sign a permission form. Then you can call the doc's offices and ask why the 24 hour heart monitor and MRI and get the results. If your Mom can't remember why she's having tests its time someone in the family started getting all the info regularly. Seeing our parents aging is so hard. Why can't your Dad go to the Garden Bridge program anymore? You probably said but I missed it-I was probably in the after surgery drug fog. I'm doing much better now, thanks!

Mrs. Vino-Hooray for easy recoveries!!!!!!!!!! So glad you are having one! Takes a lot to catch up in here, doesn't it?

Tiedy-Chemo naps sound like a great idea! Glad your boys are learning what to expect. The whole cramps thing, that is just UNFAIR!!!!!!

    Wahine-saying prayers for your Mom-to the inflatable chapel I go. . .

Stanzie-I'm blaming the Stella mix up on post-op pain meds! Good to hear from you!

    DorKy-waiting for an update!

NM............ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!! at the phone messages.   Great post as usual!

Dotty, thinking of you today sweetpea and hoping all goes well for you.  Update us when you are able.

Bernie, you never fail to make me chuckle and I am seriously thinking of printing your santa jokes and hanging them from my mantle for the family to enjoy as well...............they would, like me, roll on the floor and p#ss themselves laughing!

Kathy, good to hear that your mom is doing okay and there is a small improvement.  Hope your appointment with the foot doc went well and you got that toe sorted.

Karen, like your idea of taking a walk and coming back with a bottle of wine..................the best part was sharing with your mom.  I like NM's idea about you getting permission to get medical reports for your parents, it would indeed ease your mind as you would then know exactly what was going on.  Enjoy the rest of your stay and then the stay with DD1.  Please say hi to DH, DD2 and DS from me.

Goldie, nice drinkypoo!!!!  Need to head to the bar and get the boys to make a jug full!!!

Got my surgery date for the knee replacement............May 23rd 2012...............yup, it's a six month waiting list and that is the first available spot.  I couldn't believe it!   Oh well at least I now havae a date and will be wishing and hoping the time goes quickly.

I would like you all to meet my new grand niece Kaitlyn 7lb 11oz born 12/19/11.

This was taken about six hours after birth.  She has a mass of dark haiar that cannot be seen and is the cuttest little button!  What a great Christmas present for our whole family, we are indeed blessed.

    Love n hugs all!  Chrissy

Have not had a chance to catch up since my last post, but do have an update from DorK and Stella, I will just copy and paste (how lazy is that?)...........Surgery went well, staff was very efficient. Had a cute resident too. I had to ask to find foil just before they put me under. God Bless the OR nurse, she gave me the tiny foil packages the the thingy that the IV attachments were packaged in, thank you Junie for being there. I got so excited when I saw it cuz I was not finding it and felt alone for a bit. When the foil appears,, I thought of all of you hiding under the table and supporting me. I got there at 6am, surgery began at 8am and done at 11am, home by 1pm and just woke up from a nap.The implant side stings but I have to say that the terribly tightness is GONE. The side that was revised does not feel bad at all but 10 mls of quaalude must be helping, had one before discharge and just took another. Oh, I ate about 20 graham crackers, yum yum yum. Me tinks me not supposed to dwink tonight (sad face). Well I am going to be a good girl and lay down. Stella will tuck me in, love that goil. TEll them Stella was a good girl too. Love you girls, thanks again for being there when I needed you most. I am proud of you girls, you kept the party going yet did not get me busted hehehe! I will try to post later tonight. Happy Twos-dey (twoboobsdey).

If I am not back later, I WILL be bok in de morning!

Dork, So happy you are doing so well! Puleez do not overdo, ok? Take your pain meds as needed, and get lotsa, lotsa rest!!!! Mommie's orders.

Awwwww Kaitlyn is soooo precious, CHrissy, thanks for sharing her picture. What a doll.

My toes are all bandaged up. Apparently they WERE infected and the dr in Ireland did not give me antib's as he should have. Although I am past the infection, had to have one big toe nail removed, and the other one got chopped up too.....verrrrrrrry painful as the sides were all growing into the skin. Feels much better now, but have to try not to bump them....for me that will be quite a feat.

It was really nice talking to my mom today!

Luv and Hugs to ALL, and to ALL a Goodnight!!!

Glad to hear DorK is doing well...rest up,girl!

Kathy, I must have missed the toe story, but whatever it was sounds painful now. I had a little toenail removed years ago and it hurt like hell!

Karen, how are you already on break? I am not done until Thursday. Friday is filled with appointments: hair cut, physical therapy and 6mo onc check . I already know blood work is ok, so feeling somewhat optimistic about this visit. Just wish I had one day off before family is all home on Saturday. We ree going to Florida the day afterChristmas for a week at a resort near Clearwater Beach. Back in time to return to school on Jan 2. Our district is terrible for holiday time off. Am seriously considering a trip in Feb or March. Have never taken time off that wasn't medical related, but my priorities have changed this past year. Imagine that!

Any recommendations on what to do besides find a nice beach chair with its own cabana boy? Would love to go to Orlando to see Hogwarts but imagine that the crowds will be horrendous. Not sure if I want to endure that although we are all huge Harry Potter fans. Will be traveling with 16 yr old DS, 21 yr old DD and oldest DD and SIL. Oh. And my DH. I could sit and read and have a lovely beverage and be perfectly content but others may need some form of outside entertainment. Hmmm...ideas welcome!!

Gonna be a brown Christmas probably. Okay by me so we don't have travel delays. Two years ago there were 13 of us snowed in at my house after Christmas. That was a bit too much family!! However, we had our own Christmas Eve service around the piano, complete with communion with some expensive French wine and a loaf of crusty bread. Very moving. Hooping I can find that same spirit this year.

Take time now for yourselves everyone so you can enjoy the holidays all the more in the days ahead.
