this is something new the past couple days.....guess I'll have to keep trying a couple glasses to see what happens....I have some work to do for work...it didn't get done tonight....so it has to get done tomorrow....its for a class I'm taking on Tuesday...if I don't do the computer part, no entry to the classroom part....its 2 -3 hours worth or work......I know that thinking about doing work at home stresses me for some reason...well its late (not that late though, but I'm tired)....going to get into bed and read....see everyone tomorrow

Dorkie, SO glad you will be seeing the dr today. Hate that you are still so sick though. Hoping he can get you on the mend QUICKEST, SOONLIEST, whatevah, just get well, okay!!!!
Lori, I wish the surgery tomorrow would be as easy as the endo-scope! It is minimal surgery, but they still have to knock me out, and then make incisions, use a catheter thing to go up the veins from knee to groin, (I think they use ultrasound to get the right vein), then use radio frequency to destroy it, a bit at a time. Then later it dies from the knee down. Gotta have BOTH done....mostly cause of the venus reflux, but one side has a varicose vein that I think he will take care of also. SO then I prolly have to wear the long compression hose...yuck. Have to take it easy tomorrow, then get some walking in ea day. Then just the endo-scope on Friday. SO you all can come for just tomorrow, or stay and partay all week! I got the guest room and all of upstairs ready for you all (not!)....but maybe I can do that today! Come on to Bama, Rocket City, home of Wahine!

Ive been looking forward to going to Bama, never been there -NOW HERE'S THE FUNNY PART: The whole time that I've been with you girls, I've been pronouncin Bama in my head as I read like the last part of the presidents name..........thought we were headed to some small exotic place I'd never heard of. Have visions of tropical waters, sandy beaches, and banana trees. Finally asked my boyfriend if he knew where it was..........he laughed at me of course and explained it was short for Alabama!! Ya all know I'm naturally blonde right?? Can I still use that excuse even though I'm currently bald?! LOL Anywho-still just as excited to get tiny and come see you Wahine.
OK, done with coffee, onto the DOTD, should be able to finish at least one before chemo.

LOL TieDye......sooooo funny....but hey, I am from Hawaii, so maybe dats why you thot it was pronounced as "bahma"! Now, just a heads up, when we say "OZ" it is for Australia! Yeah, Bama is far from a tropical isle, although we have had tons of rain the past 2 months. I love your picture of Bama better though....tropical waters, sandy beaches, banana trees! I do have Hawaiian White Ginger in my yard, and Plumeria, Bouganvillea(sp?), and Anthurium in pots in the house....does that count? AND about 7 hrs away, in Gulf Shores, AL there ARE nice sandy beaches! Actually beautiful beaches, with sand dunes, and sea grass (of course over-built condo areas too). Thanks for the laff, dat was fun! OH, and even tho I have to do that prep tonight and in the morn, I STILL have to get there at 6:30 am, 2 hrs before surgery. Go figure!!! Good luck on taking the taxotere!!!

I feel bad as two of my coworkers also called out sick. Me tinks dey have super bowl sundey hang overs. Anyway, I am looking forward to feeling better, yippeee!
Another thing has me tinking berry hard. I got an email from a recruiter who is asking if I would like to interview for a job at another mortgage company. I am going to have to look into this although I am reluctant to leave my current job.

My cold still sucks! DorK, glad u went to the Dr. I am off today and tomorrow, and rest is the bestest medicine for me now. Everything is clear, so no infection, just funk! And I did add a lil homemade hootch to the medicine cocktail last night. Slept like a baby! Planning on doing the same tonight. Threw a bunch of chicken in the crockpot this morning with Franks hot sauce. It cooked all day, and is very good. Helping clear my sinuses, Fo Sho!!
