OMG,did we let some sailors loose in here? I was at the bar-not doing anything bad. Couldn't find the shrink ray gun to get teeny tiny for the trip so the tenders were helping me to get small. They were trying to fold me up like an origami and hide me in their pants,uh I mean pockets(hehe). It didn't work but was a lot of fun trying,then we heard Miss Innocent(Goldie) come in. Wow,the language coming from her. She used the D. word! It got worse-she said...son of a.....biscuit! I couldn't believe my ears,all I can say is I think Stella's badness wore off on her. Maybe we need to keep a bar of soap in the lounge for the s**t mouths. WAHINE-All the best for tomorrow. You know every time a girl is gone for surgery we see the likker backing up. When that happens we figure out who the drunkest girl in the lounge is. (Note to self:when I have my surgery make sure to have Stella drink my share of the likker). Glad the sickly girls are feeling better-even if some of them don't want their DH's to know it

Long hard day at work today....and then tonight 2 1/2 hours doing an on-line training for a class that I'm taking tomorrow.....It was hard, just tedious....I've done this training many times before so but its been a few years......It's late and I'm tired......going to get into bed and read for a few minutes.....will be back tomorrow....

Unde, I'm in South Australia which is south central. I live in a little town, population 1500 or there abouts, and I'm about a two hour drive from the main city Adelaide which is where all my docs are.

Chrissy-I am familiar w/Adelaide,nice city. My grandfather went to OZ a few times. I have a pic of him in front of the Sydney Harbor. He knew I was fascinated w/OZ and said he'd take me when I got older. He passed away before we could go together but I will make that trip one day. Right after I see Ireland and Hawaii.

Morning Girls! Just got up and have to get prepped and on my way. I see the UFO hovering overhead and can hear a LOT of giggling, oh....and some bad language....something about a biscuit???? Unde, you are SO funny! Glad you are back Bernie! And Chrissy, so nice to be thought of today from so far away...you are a sweetie. OH and Unde, Adelaide is a wonderful city with some neat history, and just a short trolley(?) ride to the beach! We loved it there, only wish I had known Chrissy then. My fav OZ cities are Adelaide, and Brisbane, altho we have relatives in Sydney, so we have gone to visit them twice.

How'z about our DOTD...................MOTIVATION DRINK RECIPE
2/3 shot Peach Schnapps and 1/3 shot Coconut Rum
Fill shot glass 2/3 of the way with Peach Schnapps. Then add 1/3 Coconut Rum (I suggest Malibu, but that's cause I likes it), and shoot. It should taste peachy with a nice coconut kick afterwards.

Good morning, Loungettes! I am back after another Full Moon Weekend, aka crazy at work. Ran my bunions off, sleep was optional, ended up getting it all done at 1 pm Monday! Came home from work, sat down to put my feet up for a minute or 2 and the next thing I knew Sadie was nudging me and asking to go out and get her evening feeding. Did that and went to bed and slept like a log last night! Still tired, but my PCP and I are going to have a talk about that when I see her on Wednesday. Going to have to push myself to get my walk in today, but I need to do that. Not going to be able to really ketchup, either, so I'm jumping in with a quick scan through !
Karen--I still remember the rather infamous sledding hills where I grew up. Big Bunker and Little Bunker. Everyone could go on Little Bunker, but you had to get your parent's permission to go on Big Bunker, it had a reputation for breaking things--taboggins, sleds, arms, legs, heads. . . .

Wahine--the antibiotic wash thingy is getting to be the usual prep for almost everything now, it cuts down on the number of staph bacteria on the skin and helps prevent MRSA infections. I had to do that before my recon, too.

NM, I loved the story of how your mom would clean your room when you weren't home. She'd throw stuff on the floor away, except for expensive stuff, which you had to earn back doing chores, mostly dishes. I cracked up when you said she would use a large pot and three frying pans to just make mac n cheese, in the pots with copper bottoms, lol. I have the same pots, think I will start doing the same to my DD, as she thinks everything belongs on the floor! lol
And Beans was about to start her second round of chemo, and came up with "This cr&p is sh!t", LOVE IT!!
And Goldie, you made a Fog cutter DOTD, and then a scorpion DOTD, hoping a real scorpion would crawl up William Shatner's pants leg cause you lost over $200 to priceline, LOL! Funny stuff!
