Good for you Nancy......hope that continues.....or you can find a good easy fix if something were to change.  I think some change when they take their meds, or switch sometimes to something else.  Keep up the good work.

Robo....please accept a hardy second to what Jenn said.  You are  beautiful, as so many are here, inside and out.

    Hugs, Jackie

    P. S. I'm with you Susan...about R L.

Morning all...big, fat snowflakes drifting down but 60 by Wed!

Robo...it will come and then you'll be able to try all the new shampoos that have come out lately. Jeepers....the hair care section is HUGE now! You do look cute all fuzzy tho!

Zap...glad Violet is doing well (I love that name!). You can play words with me...wendyk13...I used to be bad, then I got really good. Now? Edging back to bad...

Jackie...whew! That's about all I can say! Those storms had me checking the radar downstate to see if you were okay!

    Happy Birthday, Princess Juliette!!!!

Well all your prayers worked...BIL went home yesterday! 20% heart damaged. 2nd stent to be placed in a few weeks. He's feeling good but very tired. Of course now on low fat/low sodium diet and he fessed up...has been eating a BAG of pepperidge farm cookies every morning with a huge bowl of full fat ice cream every night after sil goes to bed! I'm guessing that contributed to the problem!

Have a great Sunday! Snowing like crazy right now....wow!

Our opportunity is to Soar our Spirit.
To see Light and Joy in everything.
To spread our wings and fly boldly.
To give thanks for rainbows and butterflies -
our symbols of renewal and rebirth.
To offer daily Thanksgiving - for ourselves, our family,
our friends, our community, for the whole world.

Morning sisters.....starting out with sun here though I don't think it will last.  Forecast says turning into rain/snow later.  Not what I hoped to hear, but hey.....I'm in one piece along with all I have here....I should complain.

Wendy....so glad BIL is getting off ok despite his "sins".  It is difficult to turn somethings down, especially if you are hungry and a WHOLE lot of people would find turning away from his "treats" a major undertaking.  Yours truly knows this....my sweet tooth was very quiet for a yr. or so, maybe a bit more after chemo.  I'm very sure where it is now....and how loud it can get.

There are some alternatives.....I don't take everything Dr. Oz says to the bank but a recent program said the #1 item we ingest too much salt with is bread. I don't give up bread....but make it 100% whole wheat and buy the kind that has double fiber.  Also Jays Potato Chips makes some no salt chips.  I haven't tried them yet, but going too.  I'm told it takes I think 14 days to break an addiction....like salt or sugar.....both of which I have done.  I almost can't use table sugar much...too sweet for me, and salt.....same thing.  There is now so much in the food we eat  you could easily get over a day's worth and never use a drop from a shaker.  Well, you know all these things.....

I hope you are all going to have a good Sunday......Spring is coming, spring is coming.

    Hugs, Jackie

Lisa I never had problems with smells but I never had any nausea. Just remember if you are tired, rest. This is not the time to over due.

Well, I'm sitting here listening to the 1/2 dozen dogs barking and yipping away again this morning. ( I live amongst a bunch of extremely RUDE neighbors that leave their dogs outside barking day and night) and I'm super crabby because I can't have any coffee.....ugh. I report to the hospital's same day surgery at 9:15 for my exchange. I've been waiting and waiting for this day and now that it's here I'm scared!!! I hate surgery.... I really don't want a drain, which usually means I'll end up with one. My PS said I have a 50/50 shot.... I have bad luck! :(

Anyways... I'll check in later....with my new foobs in place.

Happy belated to Julie and Happy birthday to Laura!!!

Lisa, I think if your body can handle it than it would be fine. But, chemo makes us very tired....I wouldn't have been able to do the actual painting when I went through it but everyone's different. Just listen to your body!!! I find painting very therapeutic, I have paintied my entire house myself....some rooms several times! :)

Morning....sun it out here after night time rain that help the temps to plummet.  They will go back up.....thank goodness.  This coming Sunday we go back to DST.  Can't wait...I think I will be in tune with myself again.

Jenn....I'm sure your at the hospital now, but big wishes for all to go well --- and I so hope you get a no-drain situation.  Prayers and  lots and lots of wishes for all to go well.

Spunky....don't you wish they'd outlaw Monday.....but then we just have to go through that back to work thing on Tues. instead.  I'm going to win the lottery and retire.....so, guess I'd better play if I want that to work.

Hope you all have a fantastic day.  See you later.

    Hugs, Jackie

Happy Birthday Julie and Laura!   Hope you had the best B-days ever!

Anyone have any suggestion on wart removal (hand)? The usual things have already been tried (derma. freezing numerous times, sal.acid, apple cider vinegar....) Next to try is duct tape...saw it on the internet.

    Happy Belated Birthday Julie!

    Happy Birthday Laura!

I have not read posts for the last few days so trying to catch up.

    Best to All!

I am looking forward to Spring...but the storms and tornados surrounding us puts me in panic mode.

I did get my vacation approved for the week of June 18 when I will tag along with my husband to  Lombard area for Emergency Preparedness Conference. Hoping I can meet some of you for lunch again.
