    I have some cowlicks, and they are the ones I had prior. It is just that my hair has always been so long that I rarely noticed. Now I am wondering how to manage the growing out part. I have never, ever had bangs, but it seems to me that I will have to have bangs eventually for a while as the hair grows out.

    Morning Ladies,

    Had my first post chemo haircut & color this weekend.  Here's a pic of before and after. 

    Btw, I asked for a Funky color and boy did I get one!!!

    Nice cut and colour.. Deff. does not look like "chemo" hair... Smile.I was soo exited this morning.. I had bedhead..woohoo my hair is long enough to look messy (about one inch)

    JulieLynn, I finished chemo on December 8, and my hair is 1/2 - 3/4 inch long.  I swore I'd be happy to just have hair, and I am, sorta...  I just didn't really expect to have someone else's hair growing on my head.  I bought a box of DIY haircolor, but I'm holding out until 16 weeks PFC to I use it - maybe it will look more like "me" then...  I hope to have enough growth by Memorial Day to make a real hair appointment for a trim and professional color.  My target date for ditching the wig is June 1st.

    McCrimmon--I don't think that color is funky at all.  I like it on you!  and you have bangs--I'm jealous....

    AAARGGG!  I am at work and can't see anyone's pictures!!  I'm sure you all look fantastic Kiss.

    I remember Lago was like a chemo super model.  I was always jealous of how good she looked. For the most part, I looked like an alien.  I am 13 months PFC now and although I have decided to keep my hair short n'funky, I can't get over how THICK it is....especially since I have finished with the Herceptin.  Now if my brows and lashes will only follow suit!

    Ha ha Marj you are a riot as usual. Thanks for the compliment but I always thought you looked awesome. I mean I thought you rocked the scarf much better than I did. And you know I love your hair short. That picture of you with Brutus and Napoleon… one of my favs. (Marj and I do have the same hair cut now too)

    Shore!  Thank you!!!  I don't really think I have bangs but if you say I do then I do!!  Yay!!  You've just made my day.  Actually, thank you all for the compliments, they have all made my day. 

    When I first started lurking here I always loved the pics of Lago and Marjie - they kept my spirits up that I would once again have hair. 

    I'm a little over 5 months PFC.

    Mccrimmon - you're looking awesome, be patient!  I always found great comfort in seeing pictures of others and following their hair growth too.  I found posting my pictures kind of therapeutic too....to put myself out there and not be embarrassed...it's like a first stage "coming out" before you go truly public, lol!

    Robo, so funny you mention the eyebrows.  Yes, they are mine, just had them colored on Saturday and I think the Groucho Marx look is starting to fade.  Seems the Right is thicker than the left at the moment.  Yes, I lost them after chemo but new growth seemed to be pushing the old out so I never was truly eyebrow bald just really thin and funky with super short white/clear and long out of control old hair.

    You look amazing!  I can't wait to have my post chemo cut and style.  

    I bought my wigs!  I am so excited. They are a longer bob than I have now with medium brown highlights.  I also bought some scarves at Target on Sunday.  I have been going on YouTube to figure out how to tie them.   Smile

    Heather - you really do look fantastic!  Your hair color accentuates your blue eyes and your eyebrows just rock!

    Missy 111 - I used Latisse.  I would put it on my lashes and brows.  I noticed that my brows filled in ALOT and quickly...you can see it in my progression pictures, and maybe my lashes came in a little quicker, I can't really say.  They all thinned out again anyway.  Keep in mind that when you stop using the Latisse, they will thin as well.

    missy, i started using latisse about a month ago.  i definitely have more eyelashes than when i started, but they still don't look that great.  i'll keep using it (got a buy one/get one free deal) until i run out and then reassess its usefulness.  

    marjie, your collage is great, but i wish it had exploded all over the page!  all your pictures are very helpful.

    Marj you put the teeth grin photo in too. I still haven't made a screen saver out of that yet.
