Goldie - OOO my....speaking at da meeting...love the opening line...you'll have hooked and then lots n lots of biz. I have you on my calander being in Vegas, but I remember you told me you wudn't have much time. I kno how biz is. I will be in the Phoenix/Mesa area for those 5 days. How long a drive is it to your house? PM with your contact info if you're interested, maybe Sat or Mon I could take a drive....as long as it's not too far. Let me kno. Dem hot flashes....sooo bad at night, well all day, but worse when you're trying to sleep. Wake me up everytime, got a big rash going on under my foobs...like prickly heat. ANNOYING. Den when the hot flash comes on, and this is weird, cuz it only happens when I'm laying down, I get this big rush of 'something' that starts in the middle of my chest and spreads outward to both my arms down into my hands. Only last about 1 minute, whereas the flash goes 3 or 4 mins. Does that happen to you? Anyone?
NM - WOW 5 Years! Congratulations Lady! You'll have many many more to celebrate too! Love the DOTD...very appropriate. Tink I'll hab a few taday cuz I'm still making plans too. I do have family in Phx/Mesa and two brothers in Oregon. I was born in Phx, left when I was 14. Still have many cousins and 2 Aunts (moms side). Mom had 5 sisters. Only 3 left. Other one is in Tarzana, CA. Oldest sister (in Mesa), Aunt Delores, 82yoa, is a BC survivor, had mastectomy only a year ago last October. She's still a go getter dispite some setbacks last Fall.
The Oregon trip is to my younger brother who lives close to Portland on a ton of acreage with a B & B. So, some old friends, 1 in Bainbridge, WA, the other in Edmonds, WA and their DH's will drive down to stay a few days while I'm there. Should be fun.
Juliet - Everyday is a reason to celebrate, right? But milestones...they DESERVE to be celebrated. Let's do it!!

WaWa - The wedding idea sounds GR8, weather, yea, that's a concern, hope it works out, especially if ya get to meet up with DorK n Scoob. I forgot to mention my 3rd brother (youngest of 5), he lives in HI....place called Waianae. Have no idea where or what island. We don't speak much for same reasons I wasn't close with my sister (RIP), too much drain on me. ya kno the 'ol saying..'ya can't pick your family'....But I do now...and I consider all you breasties part of my growing family. :-) I've heard of the 'sock mama' with rice, very good idea. I really hope da birdie pulls thru.

OMG Mema, what a small world! My parents bought a condo on the beach in Waianae when I was a kid, and they still have it! We always went there for weekends, and summers....it is on Oahu, near Makaha where they used to have the surfing championships (I think they are all at the North Shore now). But most of Waianae is hot and not as desirable...lots of homeless live on the beaches, lots of Hawaiians and lo-income live in that area too. The beaches are beautiful though, and we love staying there....just stay in after dark! My bro has a condo in same bldg, and the XS (well BXS for beyotch XS) was given a condo there by my parents. SO I don't like to go there now, since she is right next door! Sorry for the family chit, I sure know about all that too! (I am supposed to get the parents unit someday...was offered the other one, but didn't want it, so let XS have it).

I jes finished surfing da web and ordered B-day presents for my Maddy. She's turning 3 on April 6. DH and I are driving into Vegas on Monday, I have mammo and foob MRI that morning. Then we will spend the afternoon with Maddy. We both so excited...grown people gettin so mushy-gushy can't hailp it when it comes to da grandbabies. Then Tues morn I have a Pet Scan, then Herceptin and Xgeva..ugghh. Then we can come home. Dont see my Onco til April 3rd but that's OK. Had all these tests sch'd in prep for my BMX...but since I'm not going to do that...I don't need to kno the results right away. We'll get to see the grandbabies on that day in April too..oh...jes thot, since I'll be taking her B-day presents...maybe I shud take her an Easter Basket...yea, mema has to do THAT for sure.

The weather is gorgeous outside...in the high 60's.....going to go for a walk, then put up the rest of dinner and wipe the floors....I tell you if I didn't have dogs, my house would be so much cleaner, but then again, it wouldn't be as much fun!!!!....too warm to take the dogs now......DS left for the mountains...with his mountain bike and his snowboard....he's going to ride a trail this afternoon and then snow board tomorrow!!!!

LOL Bernie...since your DH (and you) love Harleys, gotta name one Harley and the other Davidson! J/K....any of those other combos will work, too. I love Roast Lamb too, but rarely have it (actually I like it rare, too, LOL), as it is not common here in the South. When my late DH ran a grocery store, they had to order so much lamb for Easter, but the meat mgr knew they would not sell it, so he would sell me a LOT for small amount of moola. Same with the frozen crab legs....That was many yrs ago though, and now this area is so cosmopolitan, that I am sure more people eat it now. Was sorta hard ordering it in OZ and NZ though, as we drove by pastures full of sheep and lambs all day long!

Pseaking of bees....Stella sumtings has fun at work and messes with de people we outsource with in India. So I try to ask them questions that they might not understand. I mean Stella does.
