I missed NM's "Wheres Wahine" dwink, as jest read dis page...will hafta go back....sew much to ketchup on, will take months!

Mema, wowsa on the NED...and such good results! You iz a strong lady, yessireeeeee! Proud dat youse stood by whut you believed in, and dat de dr is "getting it", and agrees with your decision.

My dr finally dictated dat procedure from Feb 10, but it iz wrong...in it he says small ulcers, but when he called me he said 1 was a big one. What to believe??? Supposed to have it redone on Friday...will all youze be wid me??? I still am waiting to see some foil from Junie, in de OR.

My DD got stranded...becuz of weather....bad storms and tornadoes by where she lives and where she was supposed to fly into last night. Of course, airline is not helping, so she had to pay for own hotel and meals, but didn't have much money with her....what a mess. They wouldn't even let anyone stay in the Houston terminal she was in overnite (not sure if entire airport closed or not). And her cell phone charger was in checked bag. They could not get her rebooked till 24 hrs later, and also lost her bags AGAIN....hoping she gets home safely tonight and her bags do too.

Want to party wid youse all, but mebbee can get some more shut-eye. Nighty night!!!

ELLSWORTH, Maine - For the first time in five years, sales of Allen's Coffee Flavored Brandy in Maine have slipped below $12 million and 1 million bottles for the calendar year.

The coffee-flavored liquor, produced by M.S. Walker Inc. in Somerville, Mass., has long been the top-selling hard liquor in Maine, according to statistics compiled by the state Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations.

Each year, the bureau releases a list of the top 25 selling units of liquor in the state. The bureau bases its list on the number of cases sold and separately tracks different sizes of the same brand.

Four different sizes of Allen's Coffee Flavored Brandy routinely appear among the top 10 spots on the list.

For 2011, different sizes of Allen's were ranked first, third, fourth and ninth on the list. The largest bottle, 1750 milliliters, was the top-selling unit in Maine last year with 56,159 cases sold, with each case containing six bottles. The smaller the bottle of Allen's, the fewer cases of it sold in 2011, as is typical every year.

The total sales figures for all four sizes of Allen's Coffee Flavored Brandy in 2011 was 988,123 bottles sold with a retail value of $11,991,937. The most recent year during which fewer than 1 million bottles of Allen's sold in Maine for less than $12 million was in 2006.

Beanie--don't put your postings down, I look forward to them muchly, muchly! We jest postes differently, that's all! Room for all in da Lounge! As to the boring meetings, I do try to pay attention, but that's all I do, most of the stuff has nuttin to do wif me and my work. . .

Chrissy--How did your "physio" session with Mr. Big go?????????

    Bernie-- LOL!

Wahine--We'll be with you Friday! Think tinfoil! YIKES for DD! That kind of thing is why I try to never check a bag when I fly, and if I do have to check a bag, all the electronics and their cords stay with me! Not to mention all my pills, especially my xanax. . . Hope she gets home safe and sound and soon.

Good DOTD NM! Hope the dwink finds our ScoobyDoo and she finds her way back to de HTL. We sure miss you, Lisa!!!  NM, yeah, my DD had her electronics with her, but had so many breakables in her large carry-on that she put the cords she didn't think she would need right away, in her checked bags. And since our bags were missing when we got here, by the time we picked them up at our airport, she was in a hurry to repack everything for her flts yesterday. What a mess! Looks like over 100 planes at DFW were damaged too, I guess from that large hail. I love your knee cartoon, will copy it for my DH too, as he needs to have the Delta-damaged knee operated on sometime soon. Love the chair massage cartoon too. I am sooooooo envious of your massages...do they get covered by ins? If so, I may need to check into that! :)  Otherwise, it is definately worth the cost, foah shuah. Do you need to go to someone aware of BC and possible LE? I thought they had to do a slightly different massage???  Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy!!!

Bernie, I think I am in the "Super Sleepy" stage! LOL. Anxious to find time to go back and see your funny posts....not sure when I can do that yet, as I know my parents want to spend time with me and I am soooooo tired.

Lori and SuzieQ.....ooooooooohhhhhhh it is sooooooo awesome that you will soon meet up!! Yippee Yi Yay Ki Yay!  Sue, are you flying to AZ this morning???

OK, gotta ketchup with DD if I kin reach her.....what a mess!

    Hugssssssssssssssss,

Update, just reached DD...they did locate her bags in Houston (although she won't get to retrieve them), now hope they get on the plane tonight with her and all arrive safely. She said one of the smaller planes (like she will be on) that left this am, had to return because of turbulence and several passengers had to go to the hospital with injuries. Haven't seen that on the news channels yet. Her DH and my gkids were in a book store when the tornado hit that small town she is supposed to fly into, and so they were safe, just power went out.

Good morning, Loungettes! Chilly enough to make getting out of bed a bit unpleasant. I'd much rather be curled up next to the warm furbaby, but that won't get the taxes or the house work done. Sigh.

Wahine--insurance doesn't cover my massages, I pay for them myself, but they are considered medical care for tax purposes. My Massage Therapist doesn't specialize in treating cancer patients or lymphedema, but that's a risk I'm willing to take because it makes me feel so much better overall. Like the occasional adult beverage, it's something I'm not willing to give up, something that makes life enjoyable. If I get LE in that arm, I'll deal with it then. Can't live my life in fear. Hooray for good news about the DD AND her luggage!

    Bernie--LOL! Talk about relaxed!

Juliet--I'm with you, bring on the PORN!

DorKable--having food in the house is a good thing, indeedy. Thanks for the Scuby update!

Karen--you have had a long day at work, my dear. Put your feet up, let Jocks give you a nice foot massage, and dwink away!

Beanie--Yeah for escaping Hoth! Where will be going now? I had to give in and turn the furnace on this am, 51 degrees in the house is just a tad chilly for me. Got spoilt by the 80 degree record breaker days a couple weeks ago.

Suby! Glad to see you back, the Tenders have installed a special beer cooler just for the BOTD!

Mrs. Vino--Good luck with the appointment today, be sure to let us know how it goes.

Princess Glitter Sizzle's DODT is the After Work Special

    3 oz Amaretto
    2 oz Coconut Rum
    1 oz White Rum
    6 oz Orange Juice
    6 oz Pineapple Juice

    Directions
Pour the Di Amore amaretto, Malibu rum and Bacardi rum over 5 ice cubes in a hurricane glass. Fill the rest of the glass with orange juice and pineapple juice, to taste, and serve.

Bernie, Love the "Power Surge"...ya would think we could be used as energy to power our appliances, right??? I know that heat sure feels like it could heat a lot of chit up!!

Juliet, "M & M's"......tooooo funneeeeeee! Dang it, wish it would work though.

Safe travels, Beans! I would not even know where to start to put chains on tires...youse is a knowledgable gal. Be verrrrrrrrry safe, ok!

Mema, Safe travels to you too! And am hoping you can get on dat puter. Also remember to take your camera, or have Lori take a camera, and take lots of pics so you can send us some!!!

Lori, Really??? Youse gonna gossip bout us? Geez, are we THAT interesting??? LOL. Make sure it is good chit, or else make up some good chit bout us, ok? Wese is so envious of youse two, and know it will be sooooooo much fun! Darn, dats lotsa puter time...but youse are so good at it.

NM, Tanx for 'splainin bout da massages! We don't itemize at all, but I can sure understand why it is worth it! I haven't had one in a long time, but sure would enjoy it. MY DH used to give me back massages all the time (gud ones too), but now it is so painful to have to lie on my tummy and get up afterwards, that I just decline. Mebbe we jest needs a massage table. I am afraid by having the caudal epidural so close to leaving on our trip, that it might not be working as good this time. Still feel the pain, but if it gets me by without being on mobic, then that will be worth it. Had to lift so much heavy luggage (even tho DD tried to do most of it), and climbing (walking) up all those steep hills, sure kept the pain present. My endoscope dr DID finally dictate the report from Feb 10, but it is DIFFERENT than what he told me on the phone...guess he couldn't remember it all? Anyway, I am having it redone tomorrow....if he finds a large ulcer (like he told me I had), I will have to remind him it was there b4, since the report says just small ulcers. Your DOTD sounds really yummy....bet I would love it as I love sweet dwinks...tanx for having dat one today. Can't even have water yet (blood work), but will def have some for lunch...yummmmmm! Oh, and I love the new beer cooler you added to the HTL, will keep them verrrrry cold....purrfect! (Hate even mentioning a cold dwink, as I am sooooo thirsty as I am fasting till I get my chit together and go down dis morning to have blood taken....my family dr is about 40 min away, so am taking my mom too so wese can go shopping afterwards). Appropriate for "Thrist-dey" I guess!

Alli, Glad you popped in too...don't work too hard, ok?

I propose dat we close up dat rabbit hole for good....anyone second dat??? Jest soooo glad that our Scooby managed to crawl out and join us at de HTL again.....glad things are looking up! Now relax and enjoy a super-cold beer from our new beer cooler....cheers!

I would like to add another DOTD, its Amarula on the Rocks. Tried in on the plane going over to either Amsterdam or Lisbon, and it was sooooooo good (almost like Bailey's, but made from fruit). I managed to bring a bottle back from Madeira (had 2 glasses packed with it too).

Amarula is a cream liquer manufactured in South Africa. It is made with sugar, cream and the fruit of the African Marula tree which is also locally called the Elephant tree or the Marriage Tree. It has an alcohol content of 17% by volume, and has the taste of slightly fruity caramel.Elephants enjoy eating the fruit of the marula tree. Because of the marula tree's association with elephants, the distiller has made them its symbol and supports elephant conservation efforts. katrinka de thirsty non-dwinka (till after the blood work that is)

Dork, you are very right about not being the only one that was fooled by lounge jokester. And I just lub reading your posts, you are always cracking me up. You are one sassy, silly, sexy, senorita!

Wow Mema, sure glad you can remember all dat, dat you have to do. This every 3 weeks, that every 6 months, etc. But you are a trooper too.

Baby Beans, you iz a goot poster. You have a fun time at your beach home and wif DH and I hope your anxiety level is not too high!

LOL Chrissy, you sneaky Pete. Better not get caught wif Mr. Big in you woom! And no jiggin, I don't think your knee will like that!

Juliet, will be fun hanging out with you and da Beans today. Hope all goes well for the both of you. And I hope neither of you have to wait long for results.

Kathy, of course we will be wif you on Frieday. The doc prolly don't even remember what he found on your prior scope, so just made something up. Please be sure he dicK tates this one pronto. And you and Mema can gossip when the two of yoose gits together. Your Amarula sounds very yummy. Has your DD made it home yet? And with her luggage?

Love the bum knee NM, and it sounds like you had a very nice day, ‘specially with the massage. You treat yourself right girl, but then you deserve it.

Bernie, I have heard about the "Power Surges" also had a friend that called her hot flashes her "Private Summers".

Welcome back from the wabbit hole Scoobs, just sorry you were down dere for so long and thanks for the coldliest beer.

Alli, you have doc appt too? Shoot, lots a chit going on dese few days.

Karen, enjoy your family time. Hoping you are feeling better.

Stella, will see you Saturday too.

    Ok, back to the grindstone!

Hi everyone, had a bit of a shock today. Had to see GP because I have nerve damage from the rads and can't use right arm properly plus have to have x rays - looks like I have osteoarthritis in the hips. Will I was there he told me my records for my diagnosis had been amended from Stage I to StageIIb and the tumour was double the size I had thought.

The pastor asked if anyone in the congregation would like to express praise for answered prayers.

Suzie Johnson stood and walked to the podium. She said, "I have a praise. Two months ago my husband, Tom, had a terrible bicycle wreck and his scrotum was completely crushed. The pain was excruciating and the doctors didn't know if they could help him."

You could hear a muffled gasp from the men in the congregation as they imagine the pain that poor Tom must have experienced.

"Tom was unable to hold me or the children," she went on, "and every move caused him terrible pain. We prayed as the doctors performed a delicate operation, and it turned out, they were able to piece together the crushed remnants of Tom's scrotum and wrap wire around it to hold it in place."

Again the men in the congregation cringed and squirmed uncomfortably as they imagined the horrible surgery performed on Tom.

"Now," she announced in a quivering voice, "thank the Lord, Tom is out of the hospital and the doctors say that with time, his scrotum should recover completely."

All the men sighed with unified relief. The pastor rose and tentatively asked if anyone else had something to say.

A man stood up and walked slowly to the podium. He said, "I'm Tom Johnson."

The entire congregation held its breath.

"I just want to tell my wife....... the word is sternum."
