Well, I am supposed to have tattoos done April 25th, but made an appt. for monday morning to see PS. You see, one of my foobs is larger than the other. I thought I could get used to it, cause I don't want anymore surgery! But, been trying to wear certain summer tops, it's very noticeable. So after long talks with DH, he had me call for appt., and we are going Monday am. Have come so far, want all dis behind me so bad, but this just isn't right, and I want to be fixed! So I guess we will be scheduling something soon. It will have to wait until after Derby though, cause I am going this year! My DMx was May 3rd last year, so will celebrate this year at the track making it to one year. Then will have this foob fixed.
Went to a retirement party last night for DH's boss, which wound up being a UofL vs UofK party. DH and I are UofL fans, hate that they lost. But they played a good game! Very proud of our Cards! And we will now be pulling for our Cats! Was proud of everyone at the party, everyone was either wearing their blue or red, but nobody was talkin smack! It was great.

Modern Roffignac
1 oz. Camus Cognac
1 oz. Gin
.75 oz. Raspberry Syrup
.75 oz. Lime
Soda
Combine all ingredients sans soda and shake well. Strain into an ice filled Collins glass and top with soda. Garnish with a raspberry.

Combine all ingredients except Angostura and shake briefly. Strain over pebble or cracked ice in a cobbler tin. Float 5 dashes of Angostura over the top. Garnish with a slapped mint sprig and expressed orange peel.
Rather than deceiving the visual senses this one relies on the contrast of smell and taste, utilizing aromatic components to trick the senses. When you smell it the drink is bright with citrus oils, aromatic bitters and fresh herbs, but when you sip it is rich, nutty and pleasantly balanced

Happy april.....another gorgeous and way too hot day in Denver.....82 today....record breaker predicted....then tomorrow 48!!!!
Allison....I'm a little annoyed at the "BHRT" doc as she was supposed to call when labs came back but never did....I finally emailed her last week...and I see her this Thursday....last week sure would have been easier....its will be 6 weeks since our first visit...not sure what she will recommend....but I need to look into other things as welll as the testosterone is not the only think that I need but I need to do one thing at a time......Also need to go back on biophosphonates, so need to get a hold of my PCP. What type of recon did you do? I had 2 fixes after my exchange and the second one was putting smaller implants in....both those surgeries were similar to the exchange....I can tell you more if you want.....My DD#1 was born on Derby day.....

Goldie....my St. has made a mess of the flower garden area...Mischa has been digging...so we have a LOT of work to do to build up the area and plant anything....plus major work on the yard in general....where grass used to be is just dirt, so DH thinks mulch will be good idea...not sure that he wants to do the manual labor, so we have a friend who does whatever he can to make a buck and going to talk to him.....the yard is just so pathetic....the drought doesn't help....and even the front yard needs work.....I should look at your website...but will probably be too late by the time I'm ready to use seeds.....

Well Lori, I was habbing a hot flash, so the dip in the pool was great! And tank ewe for de cocktails, YUMMO! The pellets are every 90 days, but will only have to travel to Dayton the first time, will have them compounded here after that, and my good friend/Dr who does BHRT will insert them for me, and only charge me the cost of the pellets! Gotta love having a Dr friend!
Karen, hope you get some answers this week. She probably was just waiting to go over the results with you in person, as they can be confusing, and hard to explain in a phone call. Thursday will be here before u know it! And cool your DD was born on Derby day!

Karen, remind us again the day before your appt. so we can all go wif you for support. The seeds we sell are all vegetable seeds, and if you keep them in a cool dry place, they can last for YEARS. The government makes the seed companies put expiration dates on them. The fridge is a great place for them. As for the dogs, friends we vivited in Lake Havasu have 2 larger dogs, and put an area for them of the artificial grass, of course being in the dessert, the rest of the yard is basically rock.
Sounds like a fun time Allison with your friends. We all need to go shopping for our Derby Hats, or Sombreros! I sure hope those pellets work, that would be such a huge thing for us ER+ PR+ girls, if proven safe.
Speaking of hot flashes, ya all know my little buddy neighbor that comes up once in a while. Well, the last two times he was here and we went over there to visit, I take my folding fan, and he likes to play with it and I always tell him to keep a look out for some. Well, darned if he didn't find some and bought me 3 of them and sent them up with his dad! Just love that kid so much.

Speaking of work, I have only logged in dis weekend to view our commission portal. It is not yet finanalized but i am soo happy as I tink I made a pool of top processors. Ya see, our commissions are set up wtih three layers, one for base closings, another for service evals (I am at 100% will recommend) and anudder is a pool of de top 35%. I am ranked at 16 and dere are jest 17 of us in de pool. Dere is dis big pot of money dat is split up amonst de top 35% and I really taught that I would be outsted from dat but it does look like I made it. So in summary, I tink I am going to make de biggest check for dis month dan I have for a few years!!! I is so fugging habby about dat. And two deys off work has rejuvinated mese for anudder round of more fun. All de hard werk and long hours seemed to has paid off! And God knows I am so enjoying dis two dey break from work!

Allison....I was disappointed that she didn't call to set up an appt as maybe I could have seen her sooner....
DorK....the 1st sedar is this Friday night....1st day is Saturday.....the only week-day that is a religious holiday/holy day is Friday the 13th.....for Passover its the 1st two and last 2 days that are "holy" days, but this year they are Sat, Sun and then Friday, Sat.
Got my ovens and cook top cleaned, but will need to wipe them down again Wednesday night so I can start cooking for Passover on Thursday....cleaned out the cupboards and under the sink and started on the frig....will do a little bit again tomorrow and again Tuesday...then Wednesday night its go get 'em.....Thrusday and Friday will be cooking days. DD and SIL get in around 11 on Thursday....DH will do the airport run....
Sooo....Kathy extended her trip by a week....good for her!!!!
Tomorrow its back to work after one week spring break...need to go look at my planner and see if there is anything I need to get done tonight.....need to start on my final project for my class...its not due till the 10th, but I won't be able to work on it next week-end.....

Juliet - I always funcused. About your films, though...so post radiation your film shows calcification. Did they biopsy to find the adh and pappilomas or is that what you are discussing wif your surgeon. I can see why dey would want to wait if you are only 5 months post radiation...I'm 1 year and 3 months post radiation and still PINK! But feels a lot better by now. My non-cancer boob had two lumpectomies and there was a lot of adh, but my MO did not recommend any more surgery for now. I will be praying for a good visit wif your doc Thurs!! Please keep us posted!!

So stoopit we are just 2 miles that go up fast and it takes forever to get all the ice to melt...most of the rest of the state doesn't hab this problem, jest me! When I bought a 4x4 years ago the sales dude said if you need 4x4 with snow tires and chains you don't want to go there...well here I is! You were smart to stick to places that 4x and snow tires work.
Kayfh - I guess I funcused agin, don't know what a soda stream is, but def can get dat it beats luggin boxes of soda water and daz goot it worked so well for chemo. I drank gallons of crystal light which now that I'm not on chemo can't figure out how I tolerated. YUCK! At the time though it was a goot way to get lotttttta fluids going thru, couldn't dwink any wine. Sucked.
Juliet - My surgeon tod me that adh could develop into F'n C over 30 years and at the time I tot I was a gonner so said, I'll take the 30 years.

Dofey - Wow about your Dad calling. It was weird when my Dad and I had our first lunch date. It was when my Mom was dx wif ovarian and she had always gone to lunch wif us but was the first time she didn't feel up to it. Goin wif my Dad alone...was way different, like our relationship was always wif Mom. I sure hope all is okay wif your Mom and Dad!! Stella is absolutely a dear too, she is pure sunshine and so much fun so hope she can stay a bit longer till we get my little neighbor down the hill.

Just he exercises that halp to make my leg strong again so I can walk like a normal poison and not like a poison wiv a sore leg. Been taking lots of painkillers udderwize I can't do dem exercised coz they weally do hurt but I do what I told so I can gets all real strong again sose I can gits to go home. The ice pack feels good coz the knee is swollen and hot but dat uposed to be normal how it tis but will get better each day. Doc came in an sawed me dis morning and he seem to be berry huppy wid ma progress so dat is goot too.
I jes lub having all youse gals to halp me through all dis, it weely has made it easier knowing that you are all holding me ups! Lub all of pouse lots!!

Mema--ADH is atypical ductal hyperplasia, which is a risk for bc. Pappilomas are small growths, sort of like polyps, that are usually benign. Sometimes I wonder just how "harmless" pappilomas really are, so many women I know with bc also have pappilomas. . .

Juliet - That's kinda what happened wif my non-cancer bweast, they did mammo biopsy takin just core samples and they didn't like that there was adh so that's when I had the two lumps taken out and even more adh but not cancer so keepin my finger crossed that tamoxifen keeps the cells from going cwazy with estrogen. Okay so I go wif you Thurs (no pinching?? boo hoo!) but then you hafta come wif me on Thurs afternoon...I go for routine pelvic and transvag US and blood draw for CA125 (screening for ovarian and to make sure tamoxifen is not messin wif my uterus. All fam hx stuff, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!) Oh yes and we hafta go wif Mema too! Will be a bizzy day for the tenders and dwivers and pilots. My apt is at 1:00 pacific time. And yes, just one UFO & Bus Trip is all it takes for these girls to wipe out all the likker! Love your idea fo regular twips to see Chrissy!!
