Hi ya goils!  I was a bit quiet yesterday (unusual for me......not) but I had a great day with the kidlings and the grands!  Boy am I paying for it today!!!  My knee has been killing me all day and I finally got DD's partner to go get me some different pain meds to see if they will help a bit.  I took a pic of my leg this morning as I couldn't believe just what the camera picked up as against the naked eye!  If you wamt to check it out just let me know and I'll post it but be warned it is black and blue!!!   No wonder the jolly thing is sore!

Undy, good to hear that you are feeling better and so glad Rumie is slowly bouncing back!

Beans, you have a good and safe trip!!!  Pop in whenever you can as you know we'll all be glad to see ya!!!

OUCH Chrissy! So not awake yet....oh wait....that DID wake me up!!! How horrid...is that normal from overdoing it? Glad you have a cream that will work. Have not heard of it, wonder if we can get it in the US? And YES, we will definately pray for Susan, DVT is verrrry scary. My DH needs to have that done too, from the bashing he got on the plane from the flt attendant's cart...but now that Susan is having so many problems, I wish there was an alternative. Hope you are being OFF your knee today!!! And that some pain meds will help.When we travel, it amazes us that in the US we need a script for tylenol with codeine (cuz of the codeine), but in so many other countries, it is avail at the pharmacy without a script. BUT we get melatonin w/out a script here, where in many countries you need a script for it. Anyway, puleez take care, and I will be praying for you as well as for Susan. Please let us know when you have an update on how she is doing.

Alli, I know you will enjoy having more time with Aubrey this week! Sounds like you had a wonderful Easter. I think I will try to be a stowaway on your boat, ok? I sure miss being ON the water. Hope your weather is good all week. It was spring break here when we left on our trip, as well as in Portugal, so the planes were SO full. I think growing up, we had ours the week after Easter, like Aubrey is having. Good thing it isn't the same in every school system!!!! Enjoy! What is a "Butter Beer"? We have a bar here that has tons of beers, and DH brought home the list. I was happily surprised to see they have BULMER'S CIDER! Hear that, Bernie??? Yummm.

Dorkie, I can just picture you and your sisters riding bikes down the boardwalk....what fun! In Amsterdam, they ride bikes all over and we saw tons of bikes locked up all over the city....one parking garage for bikes had over 2600 bicycles in it! Since the streets are narrow, and hardly any parking for cars, its good so many ride bikes. They rent them all over too, but we were soooo tired from flying for so long, that we didn't want to chance it.

Ok, Mema, Stella and I had a BLAST!!!!! OMG, she came to the hotel at 4pm and of courses we started drinking at that point, and drank until 11pm! She didn't have her car, so it couldn't get drunk. Her sweet cousin dropped her off and picked her up. She did bring me a so so sweet gift. She has the pic of that. But we cackled like a bunch of old hens.

Just like you and I did Kathy. But when I finally went to bed, I couldn't go to sleep, cuz I was so elated. Up at 5:30am and out da door at 6:30 am to head home. So I was in bed by 6:30 pee em last night, got up at 5:30 dis morning. So I wuz whooped. Mondays are SUPER busy for me right now, but will try to get pictures posted soonliest, unless Mema beats me to it. We had LOTS of hugs, for everyone, and even had some ML's and toasted Junie.

Mema prolly busy too, I talked to her fo a bit last night. She was at famiy's getting ready for Easter Din Din............Kibbles and Bits!!!!

Out of time, need to get in the shower and get Monday started. LOVE to all!

Lisa,, sorry that I was too late getting out of de PS office and you had to go to your meeting. It took me over an hour to get into de city as de Ben Franklin bridge was backed up into NJ. I ended up driving the left shoulder onto 8th St to get there faster once I got over the river, glad no cops saw that litlle 'sneaky Pete" maneuver.  As for your question on "why" to have  a BS, I asked the same question to my PCP and he told me that as long as I kept up with my Onc visits, there WAS NO reason to see the BS. I have to cut corners with this chitty insurance plan I have and one was to cut out the BS. Seemed senseless to mese and I was glad my Primary Care doc agreed.

Lori, sawry I missed you in my post. but I did make de disclaimer dat anyone I missed gets a spayshall hug so you are it ((((LORI)))). So glad that you and Sue had a great meet up but I also knew you would. Can not wait to see pictures!!  

Sue, isn't it de greatest ting meeting other BCO goils? Scuby was de first I met and I have had the pleasure of meeting Chrissy and a few other goils that were part of her possie when she bisited mese. It is my wish to meet all de goils in poyson one of dese days. So glad you had a nice time.

Chrrisy, my poor darling, dat knee looks terrible, sawriest dat you are going through dis. Hope your recovery is speedy and your new knee is speedier!  I foygot to tail my sister hello from you but she did ask about you as she always does.  Both my sisters are super awesome, I can't figurre out how I was so doubly blessed wtih such wonderful siblings. We had a fab time yesterday. I love riding a bike as I feel so good and it does not bother my body.   I do want to buy a nice bike one of these years. My sister let's me ride her "Bonnie" which is such a nice bike. I know she paid dearly for it but I would love to find something used. Next time you come, you can ride with me, okay? Oh how I wish....And of course, your friend Sue has my prayers. I do believe in de power of prayer. 

Katrinwka, dose people in Amsterdam have a good thing going with riding almost ebberywear on bikes. I would love to be able to do that. I could ride a bike to work as it is only 7 miles but I would get killed on the highway while trying. I would jest love to boycott gas and bike instead. But of course, it aint possible around these parts of de world. I have to wonder how many people in Amsterdam are high on Wille, I would bet that makes the ride more fun. hehehe. Glad you had a nice Easter too. Like you, I ate way too much. The dessert was heavenly but I had a hard time getting it down as I was about to blow!!

So now for de news of de Dorky dey.....I finally got my soygery date. I hope all yese goils will come and be with me. De date is May 18th.  I am tinking about taking some vacation time before that. I really have not had a vacation in a few years, jest time off while on STD. I get over six weeks off a year and prior to BC, I usually sold a lot of the time back to the company for money. But I have ended up using it for my disabilities since the first five days are my own time before de STD kicks in. 

I am in a sailabratory mood, will someone come and dwink with me??

OK, back to the tv...I am trying soooo hard to ketchup on my shows, had taped 28 shows while I was gone, and some were 2 and 3 hrs long. BUT have to see the earliest ones b4 I can see the current ones...I am so far behind on Am Idol too! Have not even tried to read back all the pages here that I missed.

Long day....didn't leave work till almost 4:30...then had to stop and get more fruit and veggies...then had to make dinner as soon as I get home so SIL could skype with his relatives..., but it was okay with me;  DH called me and said SIL had a favor to ask...couldn't say no...it was the anniversary of his grandfather's passing and they were doing some learning together...... but I generally like a little down time when I get home before making dinner......when we sat down to eat at 6:30, it was going on 12 hours since I left for work.....then DD was upset....so that might explain.....my mood...see below...

Tired, cranky and an emotional wreck.....not sure whats going on.....I've got my final report for my class...its due tomorrow...and can't get myself to do it....a little fear of not doing it right....and part just don't give two hoots...now if I don't do it I don't get the bonus....oh well......

Ack, don't know why the picture is so skinny. I never can size them right on photobucket. I had the day off for Easter...last Friday and today. Tomorrow staff only. Needed to go in and work but stayed home, slept until 10:00 (omg, 10:00! I'd have slept longer if I didn't have to pee!) stayed in jammies until noon, took a shower, pulled a few weeds, did some computer stuff, sat on the deck with some Bailey's and a magazine-first drink of the season outside, and caught up on Tivo. And tonight there is a freeze warning-WTH?

I too have that procrastination disease...just rejoined Flylady tonight, but of course couldn't find a way to re-sign up for emails. Maybe I am meant to be disorganized forever? DorK, my surgery is May 15th to fix my mismatched foob. Looks like we will recoup together! And the bike riding sounds fun. As for BS, I too only see my oncologist. Dr's will line up a mile long to get a ticket to this freak show, just for the $. Scuby, as long as you are being checked by your ONC or gynecologist, why add in BS? And instead of paying them for an appt. next time, tell BS to make an appointment to see you and pay u to see the tattoo, lol!

Wahine, a butter beer has no alcohol, it's something out of Harry Potter, cream soda I think with a butter popcorn flavor, and lots of rich creamy foam. You can google it, supposed to be very good, but I'm not waiting 45 minutes in line anywhere for a nonalcoholic drink, specially on vacation!

As for the boat, best day this week will be Saturday, and DH says "That's opening day for turkey hunting, I'm going hunting." Pisses me off. I said "I thought you took off to spend time with us?" and he says, "Yeh, just not Saturday!"

So, I will make plans without him!! And the name of our boat is "Frye Daze". What could we name the HTL yacht?
