Calva is a Dogue de Bordeaux (french mastiff), she currently weighs around 90lbs and when fully grown she will be 120 - 130lbs.

My chap at the front Is Gunnar (tuetonic - means Bold Warrior). He is 2. The gentlest dog I have ever owned. He is a cross pitbull/rotweiller.

The little chap is Ben (rescue dog). He's a cross jack russell/beagle. He rules the house.

Good morning, Loungettes! Got lots of yard work done yesterday, got to try to get some more in today.

Bernie-- ADORABLE puppies! Getting so big! Wish I could pet them and play with them.

CynCyn--there seems to be some stomach bug making the rounds, some of my friends up here have it too! Fortunately it doesn't last long. Get well quicklyist!

DorKable--thanks for the Prius info, I'll look into that next time I buy a car, but hopefully that won't be for a few years yet! I'll join you in a pool float for a while, I is tired after all the mowing yesterday!

Wahine--Yeah, now I have to clean up after Sadie more, but mud and dirt are better than pee and poop! And better than getting up in the middle of the night to let her out. It's just dirt, and she isn't the only one tracking it in, after all. She is such a happy doggy with all that space to play in, I love watching her and tossing balls for her to chase and fetch.And it amazes me how long her tongue can get! 

Bernie--quite the family you've got there, and I'm not surprised that the littlest rules the roost!

Chrissy--I'm hoping the long silence is due to you out celebrating good news!

Kathy, there are a LOT of things George could do, to hurt us. But he is NOT the brightest bulb in the box, so whatever he comes up with, he would need help. Because he was DH best friend, we had certain things put in HIS name. It just pisses me off to no end. We have created ALL of these businesses, websites and products, labels, instructions, logos, etc. George has brought NOTHING to the business. Even when we would send stuff over to him to look at, he wouldn't look at it and just say, "oh ya, looks good". He put chit in a box, PERIOD. I had to resend some stuff to Canada yesterday, cuz he send the wrong thing and forgot another item. Shipping to Canada is expensive. Oh shoot, I'm ranting! But I guess I can do that here. The warehouse is pretty much done, neighbor is painting the office today. Need to clean up over the weekend, and start putting shelves in. George is thinking we will keep stuff in Phx until Sept, and then move....WRONG! We want to be out of there by the end of June. Another thing that pisses me off, we had thousands of fittings made, with our logo on them. The MrSoakerHose logo, and now he gets that name, but all of the fittings are ours!

Chrissy, hoping all is ok with you and you are just having some fun with your DD.

Gots to run, DH wants to hit a movie today while in town. He is so worked up and worried. I told him, he needs to have George put together some kind of proposal of what he would like to see happen, and send it to this legal gal, (which we have already done). Instead of letting us do all the work (which is the way it always goes), and then working off of that.

 Celebration!!!!!!   Oh yeah!!!!  the scan was clear and the doc said I don't need the coumadin no more.....yay!!!!!   He did gife me a copy of the pathology for the gene tests that he ordered and yes, I am factor V and........now get this......apparently I am deficient in the gene that controlls the usage of fallate in my system that puts me at a higher risk of getting cancer.........WELL HELLO!!!!!!.  I think the news on that one was a little late but it's a good one for my kids and grandkids to be aware of so they were duly told and encouraged to go get themselves gene tested as well.

Mema and Kathy thank goodness you came shopping with me I ended up spending waaaay more than I had intended or could really afford.......but oh well, I only do it maybe once a year and I think this trip was the once a year one........lol.   I have got myself a wonderful comfy recliner/lifter chair.......I saw you two bouncing on it checking it out while I was paying the man!   I also got myself the new printer I was looking for and I think in future when the ink runs out I'll just go bnuy a new printer again as the ink is dearer than the whole machine!  I couldn't believe it!  Got some new photo paper so I can update my wall photos as well as some hdmi leads for the new tele that my daughter has give to us.

I'm home now and plum worn out with all the running around I've done over the last two days......lol.......now it's time for me to kick back, grab a drink or six and relax......oh and go back and read what you goils have been doing.

Just such great news Chrissy!! And very glad you found the recliner and printer you wanted! I know....ink is sooooo darn expensive. Long ago printers came with full sizes of ink, but usually now they come with "starter ink" so doesn't last as long as regular ink you buy. We DID used to buy printers just for the ink!!! I find my laser printer lasts the longest, but the darn laser toner cartridge is soooo expensive. GLAD you got what you wanted to buy!! And you said, "once a year", and really, you hit it at almost the middle of the year, so you did good on that end too! Thanks SO MUCH for letting us know!!

OMG Juliet, those are soooo funny.....love the "if you build it they will COME"....LOL.

NM, You're getting lots of good exercize having to use the manual mower! Love your cartoons, and looks like the DOTD did the trick....we must've drunk so much we found Chrissy!!! Lori, That fitting is so cute with your logo...really sucks that George owns the name now. Is there any way you can keep him from using the logo?  I am sure you and Darrell designed it and did all the work on it.  Hope that all gets worked out well for you both, when all is finished. And good idea to see a movie today, to try to forget that stress for a little while. Hope your town day is a good one!

Oh Bernie, PULEEZ, PWETTY PULEEZ give your Calva girl a BIG HUG from me, okay? I called her a "he".....shame on me....hope she forgives me!!! MY largest "furbaby" was an Old English Sheep Dog, and boy was he beautiful, with that long, silky hair. Rescued him from the pound when he was about 6 lbs, and they didn't think he would make it unless someone took good care of him, since he was soooo young. He ended up around 100 lbs, which was VERY heavy the day he got out and was near the highway and I had to go get him (someone caught him and was holding him), but I was verrrrry pregnant and had to CARRY him most of the way home!!! THats when I knew that a hundred pounds is very heavy!!! And to hear your dear Calva will be even bigger than that....wow! Let me know if Calva forgives me.

Goldie - OK  I got dat link to woik.  Da FOIL...berry goot goil.  Ref da heiny scope...I got that last month...this will be esophagus (sp) scope.  I've lost 5 pounds, since you saw me...not a lot, but it is the walking, well cuz that's all I'm doin...lol.  Know my legs are thinner and more toned and muscle is heavier than fat in the body, so not too concerned about the pounds.  Even my stomach has gone down.  Wish I could do situps, but all the guys I kno that are mad work-out gurus tail me not too with my double abdominal hernia. That sucks about the soaker hose logo.  Are you sure you can't fight that?  But in the end, like the lawsuit w/my DS ex-PB, we ended up giving her toooo much jes to get her outta the business so DS could get ON with his business.  Mayb that best for you n Darryl...get what you can and severe all ties.  Hope you have a good stress-free day at da movies...MUAH!!

NM - I can relate to your dilema with Sadie and her tracking chit in da house.  My pooches, cuz of their coats, pull in leafs, twigs, burs, etc. like der coats act as a magnet outside and a neg inside, cuz da floor is where it ends up. 

Bernie - I knew it...and I love that name Gunnar (Bold Warrior) sooo cool.  And den ders widdle gentle Ben...what a precious pooch.  I‘d been saying for years that I wanted a Beagle (have had Rotti or rotti-mixes for 20 years) In April when I was dx‘d...DD found a rescue Beagle named SusieQ the very next week, thought it was meant to be...but I knew it was not as I had a rough road ahead.  So...den here come Bax needing rescuing in Nov and he was born on the very day of my dx and my moms passing.  So to me THAT was meant to be.  Ain't da pooches jes da greatest!!  Thanks for sharing da darling pics with us.  :-)

wonderful news chrissy, having a glass of shiraz to celebrate, the retail therapy must be catching, went out to get a top to match a pair of pants,bealls had a sale on so got a pair of sneakers/clarks sandals/naturliser shoes/2 bras /3 panties and a cardigan for $143   but no top!.   cyncyn-have you tried some ginger cookies or ginger ale,to see if that helps, want you well to enjoy your family this weekend.  i think george needs to meet the lounge ladies , and kathy praying all goes well with your dad today

So dis is BIG OFF dey, yipppeee.  I say de big off starts at 9 pee em eastern time. But hell, who can tell time after 6 pee em?  I am going to have a mani so that my hands are softliest for de feels. And mese heard that a few of de other tenders want to partisiplate. Do you goils think we should let them compeat with de Big Boyz? And mese is tinking dat we should each cast two votes for each tender and have two phases of de compeatishion. Phaze1 will be de feel. Each judge gets 15 seconds to feel de bigness. (I am habbing a problem elaborating much further ) Phaze2 bese de visual inspection and all goils are elibigle to participate in dat. De main Judge will be Katwinka-her-honor sinze she said foyst dat she was UP (haha, UP) for de challenge. Katwinka habs to tally de votes. Each boy can get up to 3 points total. Two points for phase I and one more for phase II. Ya see, de feel is worth more den de look! Get chur game faces on goils!!  Mese so furcited and Stella is furcited too. She been jumping up and down all dey long. Oh, she say tank you to Cyn. And I tink her behavious has improved since she home. Tank you Cyndie.
