Good Luck to all of you getting squishies this week. We haven't heard from Lauren, I hope you are ok. Like I said before, the first day with squishies is better than the last day of TE's.

I'm here, ivejust been swamped at work. Tomorrow is the day! Whoo hoo! Last night dealing with these awful TEs. I have to be up in 6 hours. Surgery is at 7 am. I never thought I'd be looking forward to getting cut open, but there's a first for everything...

Good luck to everyone else tomorrow. Keep Intouch and keep updated. Next time I'm on, I'll be a squishy woman!!!

Good luck to everyone getting squishies. You will feel so much better

My squishy is starting to look more like a boob now, drooping a little. Look forward to all the "wrinkles" are gone

I forgot to ask - any suggestions what to wear home? I know I'll have drains, not sure if that matters... Will I be able to life my arms? Zip up best? Thx!

I'll join the chorus of squishies well-wishers to Momof2 and Lauren. Rest up, and I hope everything goes smoothly tomorrow. I'm counting down the hours now too just about.

I've actually stopped a few times in the past day or two to 'notice' my TEs (like I'm not always aware of them...) and realize that they will be GONE! I can't imagine what the implants will be like, but I'm just glad to hear they're better.

I saw my PCP today and he cleared me for surgery; the cough is lingering but is on its last legs. Wonder what time they'll schedule me for.

Lauren - Zip up or button up should work - or a cami that you can step into. Raising your arms will be a problem. My PT said not to raise them up much over my head for 10 days, but I think he's being a little conservative.

Oh, one more suggestion. I know everyone's PS has different directions and opinions on post-surgery bras, but I've heard Coobie bras work really well. Here's a link. I don't have any but I might invest in a few.

I don't have an exchange date. As a matter of fact the left one had to be drained and the incision resewn a few weeks ago.  what i am curious about is how many women are talking about porn star te's, and everything being too high. When I had my new incision checked last week I asked the ps why my right mound [the one still completely filled] is flat and wide, like a single cake layer.  he said that is what a mastectomy reconstruction looks like.  Also, I have 625 in my right mound[ used to be that size in both] I am average built, 5 feet 3.  I thought [mostly because i still have my water cup from my bmx which measures cc's] that 625 would bed on the large side.[ i  was huge before]  I feel like i look like a guy with nicely developed pecs and a ton of scars.  is this really the best i can hope for?

I am so excited for all of you getting your exchanges. I have to wait until August, UGH. My TE is filled to 720 cc and feels like a water balloon on my chest. Hasn't really been painful, so I am grateful for that. Anyway best wishes to all.

good luck to everyone getting squishies today.  I will have mine sometime in August.

I am 5'3" and very thin.  My Te's are currently at 300 each, I will get one more fill for 400 each and then stop.  DH already says I look huge.  Have to remember I was very flat chested to begin with so first fill in the PS office I was already larger than before surgery.  Vicky I have pretty good projection with my TE's.  They are only 450cc TE's.  My PS is going to put in high profile implants so that mine will not be as wide and have more projection.  I went to the mentor website and you can see the measurements of each size and style.  It gave me a better idea of what I am going to look like compared to these TE's.

Ossa - I love that shirt. I saw an awesome tank that says the same thing but it was all blingy. I'm seriously considering that purchase!

I am home too. All went well. Easy-Peasy compared to BMX. I woke in a pretty, light pink, comfy, adjustable, zip-up sprts bra. And they are so pliable and "squishy". Recovery nurse said I couldn't shower until my check up on Monday. That stinks, no pun intended. I think I will call PS in morning to verify that one. Anyone else have those instructions?

So glad you are home and doing well Lauren. Hope the others are doing well too.

    ALL HAIL THE SQUISHIES!!!!! Smile

Momof2inME and Lauren- I was hoping you would feel great and post today so I could say- I TOLD YOU SO! We are all so terrified before, but that walk on the squishy side is nothing compared to BMX.

Momof2inME- You can take a bath, but only shallow water that doesn't get near your chest. Otherwise no shower until after you see the doc. I bent over the tub to wash my hair with the portable shower spray.

I've got to get me one of those t-shirts. I love that saying!

Congrats ladies! I know you feel better than expected so don't forget you still need to take it easy.

Check out Zazzle.comfor those shirts, tanks, etc. Lots of options. I definitely want one with lots of bling

I can't tell how soft these twins are yet. lots of gauze under this bra. I'm dying to see how big they are too. I already feel they're too small. I was loving the size of my TEs. We'll see. What happens when I go back to the PS on Tuesday.
