Last day of chemo "sacred juice" is weds. Don't want ANYTHING to get in da way. Like coming up to a wedding or something... it must happen so I can move ahead towards Real Life again- and my hair can wake up fagod's sake! Buzz cuts are just not flattering on ma poh head.

Just a quick checkin as I have a house guest. A friend that we have known for thirty years. Every now and then he liked to check in and see how I'm doing as lost his wife to the beast about six years ago. She was diagnosed about six months after me but chose not to have any treatment and eight months later she was gone. We often have some good heart to hearts on her choice and his feelings. I'm sure even though he is getting on with his life I know he still wishes Joan his wife and my friend also had chosen a different path. She was indeed his soul mate.

I dont know ladies if I'll be back into the HTL tonight..its the Grand Opening partayy for the Frolic Room down the street...Im not liking the name so much so I'll just call it the Room. There is a band and I mentioned I would make an appearance and its next door to where DS1 works and he is working until 11pm so Im thinking I may stick around until then. But I will definately be back in tomorrow bright and early.

thanks cindi, and hi to all of you! I drink alone, heavily on the weekends. i prefer coors light, and plenty of them. My husband had throat cancer..the fallout of the 39 rads to his neck and 3 heavy duty chemo's....left him in very bad shape, not the cancer, the tx's! A few months ago i had a bc scare, yet came liout neg. Now I believe I HAVE the same thing hubby had! A lump on the side of my neck and a burning throat at night. I refuse to look into it, we would go broke if I had it, go thru all of our savings, everything....he is a vet, his treatments and meds are taken care of. Oh well, I'm glad to have you great women to write with! Starting my beers at 6pm.
One thing, my cursor jumps all over the dang place, (not a drinking excuse) lol, it just does, I can't find a way to fix it! Very frustrating!

Chrissy, Hope you have a good time with your friend. So sad about his wife. My late step-mom did that too....was dx with bc, then did not go back to the dr, and she died of it. She thought it would go away if she ignored it. Sad. But glad your friend still comes to visit, and you can also reminisce about his wife, who was also your good friend.

Hello ....back again..thought I would step in for Pau Hana ... I cant go anywhere for a while..I plan on getting there about 8 and leaving about 10 but who knows..it all depends on what kind of time Im having. I was considering having DS2 drive me down the street and come and pick me up afterwards but I just let him drive my car to the grocery store and I had about 50 mini heart attacks..Im not sure I can handle any more.
Omg..Im one of the beer dwinkers in da house..Im a Natty light girl..or whateva is the cheapest. Im not pickey...welcome, Im glad you found the HTL as I was when I found it. There are a lot of very wise women here and I hope you take the advice of getting yourself checked out.
