good afternoon all, are you drying out yet cyn?  the sky is a lighter shade of grey here,not quite 50 shades though! was working one night on ,one off the last few days so only read ,haven't checked the radar and there's no message from work so i'm guessing debby has finally moved westwards.   bernie-glad you haven't lost your sense of humour,so guessing the wine is helping.   how much longer before  jabba sorry fil leaves?                       this is team fluffy and pink after the race for life this morning.  they were raising money for cancer research uk          .   my lovely family                                                                                          .

Hmmm.....can't remember what Cat Cora looked like....but think I remember her being pretty. Hey Dork, to me "Wenches" sounds sexy and sorta like when they wore low cut laced up dresses. BUT, we SHOULD let our Cyn decide which name is best, you are right about that! I think the window guy that came out was gay, and I was So GLAD cuz he also has a degree in design, and knew what I wanted things to look like. I trust guys like him more than some salesman that doesn't know a rat's ass from a hole-in-the-ground when it comes to what looks good and what doesn't.

Juliet, what nice pictures! I haven't seen my name on anyone's back, but it almost made me cry to see YOUR name on her back! So sweet of them to do that!!! Love their get-ups, and even your sweet mom has a pink boa!!!

Dorkaroni, actually my Hawaiian name is close....it is Kakalina I think. My mom's friend used to call me that sometimes. I don't like it though. Like Katrinka and katwinka much better!!!! Mema calling me Wawa is cute, too! Ha,ha, caught the "memory" thing!

Awwwww Dorkaroni, can I give you a big hug??? (((((Dorkie))))). Sounds like you iz missing de goils sometin fierce. I will just habs ta be twice (thrice?) as loud sew youse will tink many more dwunk goils iz here wid ya! Otay? Yeah, me too though, hope they are okay!!!! Funny about Stella trying to be the "hold music". She is jest like her mama, full of mischief and fun!!! Ummm.....really? Want me to kiss the soil? How bout the grass? Sand would be too hard to kiss. Will def run in the water for you. Its so pretty by their place, and there are dogs running loose, sometimes holding their own leashes! Even though there are leash laws, owners bring their dogs to the beach every day, and I love seeing them fetch sticks in the waves. Then, sometimes there are big sea turtles (Honu) swimming with ya! Can't get near them though, not allowed. I hate seeing the tourists (usually from Japan) just going up and holding their fin, rubbing their shell, etc. And if you say "no, touching them is illegal", then they usually act like they don't understand what you are saying. Sheeesh! They should at least know what is allowed when bisiting annudder country.

Her's a JD and coke for you.....lots of ice, nice big glass!!! Ya gotta visit me here, as the JD distillery is less than 2 hrs away. Dry county though....LOL.

Hiya Cyn, Having a huge "Hurricane" right now...nah jest kidding. But I do remember those huge, fancy dwinks. No, no black sand beaches on Oahu. The one I remember from my youth on the Big Island was covered up by a volcano, but seems like there is still one there when I was there 10yrs ago. That volcano covered up "Warm Springs" too....was so neat, like a spa. No active volcanoes on Oahu either. Just dormant Diamond Head, and Punch Bowl (where the natl cemetary is). Fine with me though, we didn't have that to worry about! Ya know, I for one would not have caught that you wrote "I HEARD YEASE OBER DA LIGHTINGING." Only realized that when you admitted it was thunder! LOL. Hope all stays safe there! Long time for tornado watches. Here, we have a service that will call you if the danger is right in your area, so you can take shelter. That way you don't get complacent by all the tornado warning sirens going off. Glad your DD likes "breasties"! Well now, we can't have you running off with Cat Cora...then we would never get to see you again!!! You can fantasize, but you gotta stay with us in the HTL, agreed??? LOL. Oh about those turtle eggs, someone sent a disturbing video about a country where the residents gather all those turtle eggs and sell them for people to eat. BROKE MY HEART.....was very upsetting to see. Glad the US protects them!!!

We always have a cooler, and park close, so go to the truck to mix drinks. Everybody does it!! lol. And you can take in just about any cup, nothing is ever said. Hi all!  Hi to all the new gals!!!  

Well I'm finally back home after a most wonderful weekend!!  Sue is an absolute hoot and I felt like I had known her forever!  Saturday we walked and walked all through the arcades od the Central Market as well as the fresh produce market are......it was fab and the new knew felt just great.......held up very well and I had no pain what so ever!....yay!  Sunday we went to the souther wine reagion and visited three wineries where we got to sip on quite a few very yummy wines.........red, white and rosé.  We ended the day by having lunch at the lasyt winery and it was delicious!!!!  We even bought a bottle of wine that we had tasted to have with lunch, one of the rosés.  It was so smooth it went down like silk with a strawberry kick to finish!  Now that was a double yummy!!!

The pic I will post of Sue and I is probably not the best as I took it myself on the iphone....lol......so the angle is not quite right but you can see we were having fun!

   I'm going to have to go back a read everthing that I've missed so I'll be back later!

Hope y'all have a fab monkey day. Mine is monkey crazy. See new PS at 1, will let ya know what I think. Then going to the salon to set up my station, then pick up Aubrey at camp @4:30, rush to swim meet across town by 5:15, and that lasts til 9:30 or 10:00. Aubrey is at a free camp this week at our local Gilda's club. Looks like soooo much fun.I say free, but we all know the price of admission :-(. Anyway, she had to take in a picture of the person she is representing who is or has battled the rat bastard, and she took a pic of me, plus one of my mom,and one of her pop pop. Not sure what they will do with them, but Friday they are having a huge carnival, and all of the proceeds will be donated to a cancer supporting fund of their choice. Pretty cool.

Well, gotta get off of here and print a heat sheet for the swim meet, see y'all tonite! 

G'mornin loungettes..I survived the night ..I see Juliet hasnt checked in yet..Im sure she is fine...although, not out of the woods yet...still crappy and under watches for tornado's and severe weather for most of the day.  No if only my work computer will behave..been trying for 45mins to log into work..frustrating..

DorK...49 hours???  Are you sure your not exagerating...Im sure it hasnt been much more than 48 since you said you started...I hope you got some good sleep. I took Allies advice and gave Stella some wodka and OJ for breakfast ..she is well on her way to passing out ....whewww..thanks for the good advice Allie..cant have her serinading (sp) my clients while they are on hold.  Good luck at the PS today..hope you like him/her...you have  bizy day ahead with all that activity going on...its great that Aubrey is active over the summer and I think its wonderful that she is active in supporting activities for the rb...my SIL had rb and her daughter who just turned 15 does all the walks and such with her..they just did the relay for life..Its awesome. 

Welcome back SweetLisa...I hope you start feeling well soon and can enjoy a drink for real...We had quite a few for you last Wednesday in celebration of your last day of Chemo..Yeahhh!!

Glad Cyn and Juliet are A-OK! Still wish you would share some of that rain with us, not the bad chit, but just the rain! Must be a lot of flooding everywhere.

Chrissy, THANK YOU for posting a pic of you two!! You both look fabulous and yes, so very happy! Love those big, happy smiles!!!! OH MY, I so remember that Central Market as well as the produce market. It was so close to our hotel, almost catty-corner. My DH who is a foodie, LOVED it the most! Loved the places you could get food at.....such a variety! I really did like Adelaide, and can just picture you two being there!!! Glad your new knee (or was it new knew.....LOL) worked out and you did not have pain! Must have been a cool or cold day as you are both bundled up. SO strange, since we are in the middle of a VERY hot summer...almost 100 today.

Alli, hope you like the new PS! Both you and Dorkaroni are going to the PS today. How cool that Aubrey will get to go to another camp (and FREE)....nice she will take pics of all 3. She deserves a free camp like that....too young to have had so many close to her have the rb. One of the perks of a big city...I don't think we have Gilda's camp here. Lori, yikes....brown air....glad you are ok! And getting fresh veggis!!! My DH spent so much for tomato plants this year, bought large ones in pots with support....told him he can buy vine-ripened ones at this time of year much cheaper! Esp since we travel a lot, so have to keep them watered, etc. VERY GLAD things are working out for you, with all that work you both have had to do recently!!!

Firestorm, you can have free therapy here at the HTL. Of course, it is DRINKING therapy, but heck, whatever works, right?
