On the farm lived a chicken and a horse, both of whom loved to play together. One day the two were playing when the horse fell into a bog and began to sink. Scared for his life, the horse whinnied for the chicken to go get the farmer for help! Off the chicken ran, back to the farm. Arriving at the farm, he searched and searched for the farmer, but to no avail, for the farmer had gone to town with the only tractor. Running around, the chicken s pied the farmer's new Harley. Finding the keys in the ignition, the chicken sped off with a length of rope hoping he still had time to save his friend's life. After tying the other end to the rear bumper of the farmer's bike, the chicken then drove slowly forward and, with the aid of the powerful bike, rescued the horse! Happy and proud, the chicken rode the Harley back to the farmhouse, and the farmer was none the wiser when he returned. The friendship between the two animals was cemented: Best Buddies, Best Pals. A few weeks later, the chicken fell into a mud pit, and soon, he too, began to sink and cried out to the horse to save his life! The horse thought a moment, walked over, and straddled the large puddle. Looking underneath, he told the chicken to grab his hangy-down thingy and he would then lift him out of the pit. The chicken got a good grip, and the horse pulled him up and out, saving his life. The moral of the story? "When You're Hung Like A Horse, You Don't Need A Harley To Pick Up Chicks"

Good morning, Loungettes! The weather broke yesterday, a couple good thunderstorms came through, had to actually use a blanket last night! Got to go in for a meeting this am, hopefully get some yard work done this pm. Got to find some energy somewhere.

CynCyn--I hear you about getting things moving 'down south' and the ouchiness it can cause. Walking is a very, very helpful thing to do, and I would stay near the potty too, in your shoes (or should I say slippers?)! Keep on top of things, it will get better.

Mema--don't go back to the hospital in this day and age, we don't keep people until they done da deed like we used to!

DorKable--careful what you say, don't want youse getething fired! Big dwinkies waiteth for us at the bar!

Juliet--wonderful observation on the foundation of freindships! And now I'm drooling all over the keyboard!

Bernie the Biker Chick! Youse lookin GOOD!!!!!! Is the cutie patootie beastie in the pic a burro?

Princess Glitter Sizzle's DOTD is the Poop Maker
    Plum Liqueur Recipe

Pretty pretty flowers Bernie. Is that one of your fur babies (of another sort) coot! Never heard of tapir, I thought it was a donkey. Your photos of you look awesome girl, nice to see the real you (wif hair). You should crop the one pic and use it as your avatar.

Cyn, can't you take something, even if just a softener? I too hope you are around for anudder 50 years. Oops, I see you are taking Dulcilax. I am so sorry for the pain, ya, why can't they stay away from your bowels? I can't believe that has happened to you twice. I have had my tummy cut open 4 times, used the pillow for everything, coughing, sneezing, even laughing sometimes.

Juliet, great advice for Cyn, we don't want her back in the hospital, not for an incision bursting open, or any reason for that matter. Your cartoon reminds me of ME, except I would be the MAN! Nice eye candy for Cyn and Bernie, I hope Bernie shares! I don't think Cyn has to worry Wink

Dork, I did not see the cabanna. Oh I hope you get the house. All sayed boom chicky wow wow! Oh how I hate getting those crackheads on the phone when calling for help on something. Would rather talk to Peggy!

ProudMary, glad you are feeling better girl. Wish I could join you on the house boat thingy, dat just sounds like so much fun. Lake Mead is so pretty.

NM, if you were to leave, we would hunt you down!!!! Cool weather sleeping is the best, isn't it. But I have to cover up, no matter what the temps, I just can't sleep if I am not covered. LMAO @ da Poop Maker for CynCyn, dat funny.

WaWa on her way home today, Beans on her way to de new cabin, safe travels for both of you, and where's our Lara and Alli and Shannon and .........who else is missing?

Hmmmmm, grabbing me a poop maker, can't imagine what its going to look like in here after we all drink those Surprised

    Hell To Get Old

Three men were discussing aging at the nursing home.

"Sixty is the worst age to be," said the 60-year-old. "You always feel like you have to pee. And most of the time, you stand at the toilet and nothing comes out!"

"Ah, that's nothin'," said the 70-year-old. "When you're seventy, you can't have a bowel movement anymore. You take laxatives, eat bran, you sit on the toilet all day and nothin' comes out!"

"Actually," said the 80-year-old, "Eighty is the worst age of all."

"Do you have trouble peeing too?" asked the 60-year-old. "No, not really. I pee every morning at 6:00 am. I piss like a race horse; no problem at all."

"Do you have trouble having a bowel movement?" asked the 70-year-old.

"Well, not really. I have a great bowel movement every morning at 6:30 am."

With great exasperation, the 60-year-old said, "Let me get this straight. You pee every morning at 6:00 am and have bowel movement every morning at 6:30. What's so tough about being 80?"

    "I don't wake up until 10:00 am.
