    NM.....about the grapfruit deal...the only med Im on that mentions not consuming it in excess is my lovistatin (sp) for choloesterol....should I not consume it on Tammy either?  I checked the bottle and it doesnt say not to...

    Cyn - I hadn't heard about grapefruit either...but it doesn't like me (GERD) so I stay away from it.  It sounds kinda like what taking some gerd meds do...slow or inhibited the absorbtion of other meds.  Cept I don't kno what roll the liver plays with the gerd meds if any.

    Thats fine Lara! I feel that sometimes too....sometimes I post my pic and other times I am very against it. A higher resolution does give a clearer image, but so many of mine from my camera are over 1MB, so VERY huge and if I post them here in that format it would take almost an entire page! So I can resize them, down. But I couldn't do that on yours, as if you resize UP then it just blurs.

MERRY THANKSGIVOWEEN..prolly really coming to that. Unreal that you couldn't find Halloween decs there, but they had Christmas. Sheesh!!! They need to dwink.

    Actually, I goofed earlier.  TAmoxifen and grapefruit juice get along fine.  Tamoxifen and statins to lower cholesterol do not play well together.  The combo causes and increased risk of liver and muscle damage.  Sorry for the misinfo.  I must remember to double check my memory before writing things!

    So ..being on Tamoxifin and Statins isnt good?  But I can eat grapefruit??  LOL...just butstin your chopps there NM....Im sure my onc wouldnt have put me on it or would have taken me off the statin if it was going to hurt me...well, would he have???  Or is this some evil scheme to make more money on my health woe's??  Its all becoming clear....the first time I saw him I was only iron deficient...so he said to take iron...the next time I saw him I had cancer...hmmm.....will the next time be liver failure???  Are you seeing a pattern here?

    Oh shit I've missed everything--I just got home alittle while ago---anyone remember I was going out finally?   I went to my girlfriends for lunch with my other 2--we had a phuckin' great time. We shoulda just slept there, maybe next time. we have an old lady sleepover----we srill do that. Some of the pics. didn't comethru for me and some did.
