Orla...the original Exrocist was one of my fav movies when I was a kid...scared the bejesus out of me...have you seen any of the deleted sceens?? there is one where she is going down the stairs laying down backwards....really seriously creepy.

Ohhh you guys just crack me up! Looks like i missed a good pawty last night but i was flying back home from seeing DD in Santa Barbara. (brag brag) Her student housing is a mile from the beach - glorious CA! I'd move there in a heartbeat if it wasn't so frikken expensive.
Wish i could post some pics here like my paintings and ceramic work and my beatifous DD but am SSOOO puter illiterate - just don't know how to do much of anyting but art! Hahahaha Good ting i learnt how to dwive a car. Maybe some nite after tipping back a few someone can give me a lesson. A dwink or 3 always helps the learning process but not the memory process. Will have my notebook out to rite it down.
So da grapefruit thing according to my extwemely limited medical knowledge: my understanding it can lessen or amplify the effects of statin drugs and some anti-depressants(my goood friend anti-depressants).
Did someone say having trouble w/Aromasin? I've been on it for 3 months and take a pill for every se. This is where i got blasted on another forum. So this is what's working for me:
Ativan to fall asleep
Gabapentin for night sweats
citalopram (celexa) for da sadness
hydromorphone (diluadad) for pain and helps w/fatigue (go figure)
My onc. lets me have as much hydromorphone as i want and tells me to just get over those guilty addict feelings. I take as little as possible anyway cuz at 5pm da alkihawl takes all da pain away. Yipee. What time is it?? Chit only 11am.
Well that's my novel for dis morning. Looking forward to getting to know all you fun biatches more. I'm sorta surprised the mods. have't put a kabotch on this thread as being unhealthy or someting!

Oh and just had to comment on the scary movies. The Exorcist is still my #1 scary, creepified movie of all time and creeps me out no matter how many times i see it. But my fav of all time is "Creature From the Black Lagoon". There's another old one too I can't remember the name of where the scary guy walks around with his head on a platter! haha Anyone know it?

OR you can do that too....just do a photobucket acct and make it private. Then when you add pics there, you can copy them here. When you delete them from photobucket, they will disappear from here too. Does that make sense? But like I said, I am sure any of us will be willing to do it for ya. Would love to see them!!!!

Good afternoon, Loungettes! I've got my living room in a total mess. Started cleaning off the desk, decided to move it and lo and behold a total mess gets created. Now I need to find some more energy to get it all cleaned up again! Yuck.
Wahine--many supplements and vitamins are on that site, but not all. Only the ones with serious research behind them, or very commonly used.

ORLA--I love Exorcist, even if it is kinda dated. Still scary!
Raku--next time someone gives you grief about taking so many pills ask them if it would be better for you to go insane for lack of sleep and depression and pain to live a few months longer without the beast coming back, or to LIVE for the next five years AND the months the meds give you? Some people just do not understand how long 5 years can be when you physically fell miserable.
OK, break over, time to pick up some more stuff. Got to throw much of this away, been keeping it for years "just in case I want it" and still haven't used it. That should be a message, shouldn't it?

Camy, Raku,and any of the newer gals....if you don't mind, could you PM your contact info to someone else on this thread? We have gotten really close to some gals in the past that just dropped from the thread, and then we worry sooooo much. This way, if someone decides to leave the thread, someone can at least check on them and make sure they are okay! There are still some that we worry about very much, and would like to know that they are okay. If you don't want to do this, thats ok too. Contact info could even just be an email, or phone, or whatever.
OK...off to show the condo to another prospective renter...did some sleuthing though and think he owns a small chicken restaurant and loves to cook...then we'll have to let him know he can't bring his huge grill (without letting on that we know some stuff), but has to grill in the community areas. Might be a deal breaker but I would rather he knew that up front. Wish us luck on this one~!

Lynda - I have been on Aromisin for a year now. Doc doesn't give me ANYTHING for the night & day sweats. never heard of diluadad...will have to look that up. I only occ'ly take fioricet for pain and only occ'ly ambien for sleep. But I do take xanax every night and now I'm on wellbutrin also. Not sure I'm liking dat chit at all. I did watch the Exorcist...yeas creepy...Watched original Elm Street too...but none of the sequels. Jes too much! I have heard of the Black Lagoon movie...was that orig from the 50's maybe? Not sure I've seen it.

I'm baaack! Waited a long time for the guy to show up but we didn't leave him a number, so our fault. We LIKE him....he, his mom, and aunt own a fried chicken/waffles soul food place...and omg he smelled like fried chicken and it wasn't fair he didn't bring any! Anyway, I think he will work out well, but we'll pick up his app tomorrow.
Cyn, YES, you are the one I would trust the most to keep an eye on Hunk for me! Duh!! I know you won't try to steal him away like some of the other gals (you know who you are!). I am so furcited about your vacay....and getting to be with your loved one. Awesome!!! Oh, about those dead fish, were they real small, like maybe 3" long or so? Because my last day there, saw a ton of them coming in, then getting stranded when washed up with a wave. The birds were having a feast. The fish were alive coming in, then died on the shore. I thought maybe a turtle or large fish was after them, but if that is the same thing you saw, then it is a puzzle. Wouldn't be the redtide coming back would it? The guy at the Mote Aquarium said its been 4 yrs since the last redtide, and it is usually more often.

Wahine, I am dwinking with you, habbing my first.....well first one after my nap hehe. I had a great time at the shower. I was so fercited when I walked in and they had a stocked bar! I had two stiff ones then came home and got in my freshly laundered sheets and had a two hour nap. Now I am revving to go, woooo hooo.
Lynda, I can not believe the nerve of people here, some people have nothing better to do than to put down others. There is one girl I have seen around that I absolutely can not stand, here name is Barbe something. She is always telling people what they should and should not do, she once insulted one of my friends so I punched her in the face. Well not really lol but that kind of shit is what keeps me here in the lounge. If there is anything I need to know about just about anyting, I ask mese goils here and they know the answers and if not will find the answers. If you mix of meds works for you, then so be it. It is no ones business to tell you that you take too much. I like what your doctor said, he/she sounds super cool.

Wawa, I tink I was de only one dwinking hehe. I told de bartender to make it a double then pour it from the glass into the same plastic cups they were using for soda lol. It was a cash bar but a bar is a bar. My sis gave me money to buy it as I left my wallet at home. I felt like an alchoholic. well I guess I am and I am sofa king proud of it!
