Right? And David Crosby from CS&N has also fathered a few kids from young girls who wanted his babies. Funny that Willie does that too. I do not think I would want either of them to be my baby daddy!

For Mema
The Black Eyed Peas is a North American hip hop group. It mainly comprises rappers will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo, and singer Fergie. Originally an alternative hip hop group, they have since added R&B, pop, dance, electro and techno influences. Wikipedia

4 -5 slices bacon
1 large onion, chopped
1 stalk celery, diced
4 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions:

In a 5 quart Dutch oven, cook bacon until crisp; set aside to drain on paper towels.

Good morning, Loungettes!
DorKable--So glad you found a PS that you feel good seeing! And I cannot believe you almost got hit, AGAIN! Finally things are turning around for you! And do talk to an attorney, you don't have to commit to anything to find out what your rights are. And if that PS is doing this to you, who else is he doing it to? Is he getting 2 or 3 surgeries per foob from everyone he treats? If so, he's in it for the money, and needs to be brought up short before he kills someone.
Wahine--isn't it horrible to have such a problem as where to go for a birthday dinner!!!!
Mema--I think black eyed peas are a southern US tradition, but I'm not sure.
Juliet--great partay reasons, go for it girl!
OK, gotta scoot to work. Latah, Ladies!

Bernie u've got it covered!!!
Wow busy, busy, busy--Now I'm confused again--who got deported--the first time I read that on the boards I thought they left the country. But it does get better everyday __I'm told.
U all sound pretty good--even Dork which make my hppy. What a group.
sll kinds of things going on and still meet st the Lounge--love it.
Well my GF is HERE and today is a Joey and her day-Legoland--she's craxy--he was so excited when he saw her-he wouldn't leave her side, her sons are in there 20's and don't live at home so she loves Joey--he's so caring and makes her drink for her--I know we're all goofy, but he loves to be her host and doesn't let her get up for anything--me too.--We have our own butler.
She who I call Auntie Mame--a 1956 Movie with Rosilyn Russell (based on a true story) she just open up possibilities for all kinds of things. and she said we'll do a picture of me for the computer-cuz we don't know how. So u will see me, so that's u'r punishment and yes u can laugh--I don't mind. My DD is making riggitoni with authentic sauce (gravy) tonight for Donna
she has an adorable Bishay-pom--and our dog met last night al in all it was pretty ood and my Katie-Kat stayed in my room. LOL and Of course this morning I have D--so I took a bunch of pills hahaha OH well
I'll be back later and hope everyone is doing better today. Love u all

Awwww Cami, meese haz a hug foy you (((((CAMI))))). I just can’t imagine you not being fun, I think you are too hard on yourself and I’m sure your GF will be understanding if you are not feeling well. I guess I should read ahead, but this was the first thing I read this morning. Hoping to hear better things as I read on…………..ok, sounds like you all had a good time. And that lil Joey of yours being such a gentleman, that is just so sweet. We can’t wait to see pictures!!!!! Woo hooooo, and no one is gonna laf girl, or are you just looking for a spanking??
Julie, sweet of you to offer the suggestions for DorK on her immune system. How are you feeling? Oh I see you are doing good, glad to hear that. And you missed the big computer upgrade. Is that something you will have to do at some point? OMG, can you imagine all of us on fentanyl???? What a site that would be.
Cyn, your poor arm. Do you have any follow ups with a doctor for that. I’m so afraid that this is going to cause you pain always, I pray it doesn’t. And how is your chest doing?
Lara, that’s cute that you didn’t know that Bama was Alabama. When do you get to go to Joisey again?
Reading NM’s post, I think I missed seeing that DorK spoke with a lawyer? Good to know you stay in when the roads are bad, we do too. Even a little rain makes our roads slick as ice and it’s a 6 mile drive, out of here. LOL at wanting to try some Willie…..LOL! I’ll admit, I used to. Then wondered why, all it did was make me sleepy and give me the munchies. I say stick to your wine. OMG, never even thought that Dort’s PS could be botching those surgeries on purpose and in it for the money. Oh that is some phucking scary chit.
DorK, a typewriter, seriously??? So awesome that you can call the new doc anytime, but I’m hoping you don’t need to. OMG, so glad you escaped getting hit by that truck. I swear, if you didn’t have bad luck, you wouldn’t have any luck at all my friend (((((DORK))))) Ok, I see you have not talked with an attorney. I kind of think you should. Not because of where the implant was put and that they wouldn’t take, but for the mutilation to your body. But glad you are feeling better.
Kathy, I sure wish we had all of those places to eat at. We have NO WHERE good to eat where we live, so it’s always a treat when we go to Phoenix. My DH loves Texas Roadhouse, he always gets the catfish and I always get the ribs. Mmmmm yummmm. Making me hungry! I have not read 50 Shades, I just don’t have time.
Sue, could you pweeze splain, exactly what is a sloppy wet eyeball kiss? Oh so glad you got to talk to our Beans and get to meet up next week. I so excited for you both. Congrats on all the good reports. Clink Clink, I’ll drink to that!

A message from Dorothy this morning. She is having internet problems, but will post when that gets fixed and she is up and running. She did speak to the nurse, who told her that the gaping hole she has shouldn't be a problem.
I believe she opened it up by trying to take a peak at it. Which is why she got all those spankings!

Morning, just have a minute, so will type fast (ya gotta read fast too, lol)!
Funny cartoon Lori, esp excluding Dorki and Cami...verrrrrry smart to do that! Love the drink. Now we have SO many places to eat at I haven't even heard of them all. This is quite the area for new businesses and for restaurants and shoppes that are pretty exclusive and maybe in just LA and here, etc. NOT like what people envision when they think "Alabama". Mind boggling.
Lara, today is neat as its 12-12-12 (and my dad's 96th bday)....really neat for those turning 12 today. But the "end of the world" date its 12-21-12, based on the Mayan calendar ending on that date. So, no worries.....yet....(lol). How cool your sis got a pic with Marc, and cool about her being in the masters program! YAY!!!!!
Hoping our Dorkie is doing sooooo much better today!
Yeah, the blackeyed peas (not the group) are def a southern food!
Hugssssss to alll, gotta run, will ketchup later taters.....

Here you go Sue...I never heard of it before XPB but she was from GA so thats how I knew what you were talking about.
The practice of eating black-eyed peas for luck is generally believed to date back to the Civil War. At first planted as food for livestock, and later a food staple for slaves in the South, the fields of black-eyed peas were ignored as Sherman's troops destroyed or stole other crops, thereby giving the humble, but nourishing, black-eyed pea an important role as a major food source for surviving Confederates.
Today, the tradition of eating black-eyed peas for the New Year has evolved into a number of variations and embellishments of the luck and prosperity theme including:
- Served with greens (collards, mustard or turnip greens, which varies regionally), the peas represent coins and the greens represent paper money. In some areas cabbage is used in place of the greens.
- Cornbread, often served with black-eyed peas and greens, represents gold.
- For the best chance of luck every day in the year ahead, one must eat at least 365 black-eyed peas on New Year's Day.
- Black-eyed peas eaten with stewed tomatoes represent wealth and health.
- In some areas, actual values are assigned with the black-eyed peas representing pennies or up to a dollar each and the greens representing anywhere from one to a thousand dollars.
- Adding a shiny penny or dime to the pot just before serving is another tradition practiced by some. When served, the person whose bowl contains the penny or dime receives the best luck for the New Year, unless of course, the recipient swallows the coin, which would be a rather unlucky way to start off the year.
The catch to all of these superstitious traditions is that the black-eyed peas are the essential element and eating only the greens without the peas, for example, will not do the trick.
I like the ones Bernie was speaking of also..but I prefer Fergie solo better.
Hope everyone has a happy Humpday..I'll be back full force tomorrow.

And I never made it to my bathroom, I couldn't even find it.And I was not on a high dose just 50mg. So I'm passing on tjt one--I'll stick to drinking.
