Dork all my tests are this week--Mon Onc. Wed. heaet thingy and Thursday down my throat and up my ass with biopsies all over the plaxe hahaha---so by Friday I be fine...U know how everyone lways get unnerved waiting for tests and results for some strange reason I don't but I get aggrevated having to take a shower and get dressed-if they could come to my house and do it--I'd be fine hahaha Oh well
Sue u still feel bad? My throat stopped hurting yesterday (the right side) tonight the left side hurts--don't know what that means but it better stop.I love to party too my mind does a great job, but the body does not cooperate. waaaaaaa

Kathy, I know your pain with those bummer discs, I have 2 myself. But I think yours is worse, due to the fact that you have to go for that procedure/shot. But I have over done it before, and have been stuck in bed not able to get up due to the pain. One time I just cleared my throat, but I must have moved just the right/wrong way and it dropped me on the floor in pain. I sure hope you DH is not over doing it on his knee. Maybe a call in to PT?

Cami, I too was surprised to learn how cold it gets in AZ, but it’s just at the higher elevations, mostly Northern AZ. As for the drinks, when I’m reading I try to pick up on something to inspire the name of a drink. Like yesterday was the white glove thing. So then I go to Google, and type in “white glove cocktail”. Well, I actually did not find one, so then I just looked for a “white cocktail” and called it The White Glove. You did a great job on your post too, you gets an A+++. When is your “up the ass, and down the throat”? Ok, I see all is this week, and at YOUR HOUSE….LOL! Or so you wish. That so funny. Praying they find out what de hail is wrong and also that you don’ t have to wait long for results. Busy week for you!

NM, does the mask not really work for pollen too then? I imagine not. That season for here can start as early as late February, and I see people wearing masks, but like germs, I think that pollen could still get in those gaps around the edge?

I know nothing about the drinks so DOTD is on u or someone as knowledgeable as u Lori. We had a nite full of sleet so our weather has changed for now--it's a surprise everyday here--didn't used to be but now it is.
I woke up during the night with a furry little ball around my left side of my neck and a furry ball on the right, and I thought ?WTF It was my grandson I couldn't breath.

And really feel bad for u uys with bad acks--that comes on so easily for no real reason and I know it's painful and how u can't move. mor and more women hace bad backs now, it used to be more men, but not anymore.

Ok, I took a twip back to de past, it was January 10th......two thousand and eleven. It was Kymn, but not her birfday. It was her 1 year cancervesary. So I guess the cake is still apropay.
Now for a drink, as we have to have a drink. Keepin it white for our White Glove Weekend, here is

Yeah, Lori the back can be a real PIB. Was so much better when I was taking Mobic every day, but then got the ulcers from it, so had to stop. I am trying the MSM and chondroitrin/glucosamine like we give to Maverick (but the human ones!), and hoping that may start helping. It sure helps him...he runs and jumps like a puppy and he is over 10 yo. The vet had him on $100/mo meds and the $15/mo glucosamine has worked great, so no vet meds, yay. Glad I didn't have the caudal epidural when those people were dying from it....mine was about a month before the contaminated stuff came out, and none in AL, but was in TN, which is sooooo close. Now I don't want to do it again! I really need to do the back exercizes, becuz if we get our core stronger, it is supposed to help our back. Wanna treadmill too, as that helps it but still a bit weak.
SunDey FunDey, but its cloudy and rainy here! Maybe that white dwink will brighten up our days (w/o the egg white tho!).

I tink we cud leave the eggwhite off...but den it wudn't be white, jes lellow(as my gd sez). But even if we don't dwink it...it is lubly to look at. Lara - good advice from Kat about the pillow for the seatbelt. I wud not have thot of that. You very smart for getting everything ready for your recoup time. Is your mom coming to stay with you or are you going to stay with her?
Kathy - I did the same ting wif my rotti, Haley, some years ago (she in doggy heaven now). She was born with dysplasia in BOTH hips. Did the vet $$$$ pills, den friend told us bout the gluco/condro and it worked. She was able to run and run. The trick wif this stuff is high doses until it starts to work...then slowly cut back to a maintenance dose. I hope it works for you. My back a mess...but dat for other reasons. I still take gluco/condro/msm everyday tho. My DD say yoga will help...I have a DVD for beginners...jes too lazy to do it. Keep saying I will....been about a year now...still sitting on da shelf...heehee. HEY....I walk 3 or 4 days a week...dat sumpin...plus...fresh air and goot vit D from da sun.
Cami - I am feeling OK. Da eyeball and da nose act up 2 or 3 times a day...so I douche and it immediately feel better. I HATE dat nasal saline...makes me gag...but it shore does woik so I do it. Been HEAVY on the zicam, but think today I will go every 6 hrs instead of every 3. It's ruining my taste buds...even water and coffe taste like poop! You will have a bizy week...I will say xtra prayers fer ya. I was gonna say I'd round up da goils n git really widdle and zoom over in da UFO....but mese don't tink I wanna b der for da heineyscope...I mean...I love ya and all...but...well...!?!

Orange I hope the pain is not bad--well the word pain is bad maybe hurt some is better. I hate to think of u in any kind of pain or bad hurt., but I am glad u'r going to be with u'r mom the bestest person to be with. She'sll make u feel better. That's what moms do, yea they do.So I know u'll be druggy for a while, but as soon as u can let someone know how u feel and don't let them keep u in any pain/ Oh the picture is that true--Did u work outside? U shouldn't hace at all.
Well I see we all don't want the egg whites--there must be some liquor that's all white that would taste good in there--SOMETHING. It's so pretty.

Good morning, Loungettes! Woke up with a headache yesterday, and again this ayem. Not liking this trend. Gotta figure out what's doing this. In the meantime, thank goodness for tylenol.
Cammy-- I use a split screen. Makes it easier since my rememberer doesn't work too well anymore.
Goldie--I have to work at remembering what day it is, and if anything messes up my routines I get lost easy!
Wahine--You caught my point--all this influenza stuff is based on clinical diagnosis, not confirmed diagnoses. The CDC doesn’t requires influenza reporting. If it's so important, why not require reporting? BTW, the answer is it would be too much work for doctors and hospitals. And insurance usually won't pay for flu testing unless you live in a nursing home or similar facility. I didn't know China had air quality issues, that's interesting to hear. Maybe I should cross visiting China off my list of places to visit someday. Hope DH's recovering continues quickly!
ORLA--hope the tummy is happier now. Rest and bland is good for a day or two.

DorKable--nothing like multitasking--hair and gossip, you must be having fun!
Goldie--yes, pollen can get in around the edges of the mask. But because pollen is so much bigger than bacteria the mask is actually helpful for pollen. I remember seeing that cake this summer, it still looks good!
ORLA--maybe the tummy troubles are more nerves than bugs? Lord knows we have enough reason to be nervous about surgery. Hang in there!
Goldie. Cammy--I vote for leaving the egg white out, too. Or just loooking at the lovely dwinkies and dwinking something else. Raw egg white, or raw egg anything, makes me nervous.
Wahine--sounds like that contaminated stuff got way to close for comfort. I can understand you not wanting to do it again. I've heard the glucosamine can take time to work, so hang in there.
Mema--careful with the Zicam every 3 hours, some forms have a big dose of tylenol in it. Make sure you're not going over 4000 mg a day. Zinc does affect the taste buds big time, and Zinc is one of the ingredients in Zicam. Horrible taste, but it does work!
Well, time for me to think about getting dressed for work. At least I don't feel quite so tired this am, so hoping the weekend of being a lazy a$$ biotch was helpful. My mom made a surprise visit, seems my home phone isn't working and she hasn't been able to get in touch with me for a week so she figured I'd fallen down the stairs and broken my back and couldn't reach a phone. Can't get the phone to work, so I need to get a new phone on the way home from work today. Of course the house wasn't picked up 'cause I haven't had the energy, so she commented on that, too. I love my mom, I really do.

Well, I can’t say “back to work” as I worked all weekend! It’s another sub zero morning here and again tomorrow. Now these are just night time temps, not that cold during the day. But only getting in to the 20’s. Wednesday getting to 40, and then into the 50’s come Thursday…………I can’t wait!!!

LOL Oh My what a great way to wake up. Thank you Lori...I was really ROFLMAO....bet the neighbors heard me (j/k)! Funnnneeeeeeeeeee. Well yesterday it was in the 70s here and today will be in the 30's this afternoon, with maybe freezing rain. Go figure! Love your Sock MonKey Dey Partay pic! Soooooo cutie-patootie. I'm feeling pretty good, except for my back! DH is doing real well, he has exercized that knee almost non-stop after that torture PT on Friday afternoon (1 day post-surgery) and me calling him "clicker"...lol. SHe should be real impressed with him today, and I am glad its jest a few min away, since the weather might be chitty this afternoon. And yes, my parents are doing well, thanks for asking! My dad finally will see the dentist tomorrow about his tooth, but I don't think its bothering him now. My mom keeps calling US wanting to help US out! She's a jewel, really sweet and caring.
NM, Luverly Dwink....love it...for mom's....with that bit of a sour pucker!!! Yes, the air in China is real bad. IN FACT yesterday on the news they showed China at NOON and the pollution was so bad, it looked like night...they even told everyone to stay inside...and these are people that are used to breathing bad air. Yuck. Yeah you can cross that off your list. In fact, it is one place that even while there, we both realized we wouldn't want to go there again. I just wish we had seen the terra cotta warriors, but that was a 2-day trip, overnighting on trains. Would have been worth it though, had I realized we could have done it. Doubt my parents would have liked that trip though. SO many other places we would want to revisit, several asian countries too, but NOT China.
Hope you're feeling better Lara, as your surgery is in 2 days (like I have to remind YOU!). Also glad you will be with your mom.
