Bernie, Hoping for good news about your brother, please let us know when you know something, ok? Prayers still going out for him! My DH is very concerned, too.

I feel well now...yay. Just did about 25 min on treadmill, first time in a few weeks, so taking it slow. Was nice not to cough today! My Dad has to have a root canal tomorrow, so I will take him. Poor guy, but at least we were able to get antibiotics called in about 10 days ago, even though he hadn't seen that doctor.

Lara, I will still be on the UFO early with the other gals....I will have plenty of time to come home and get my dad to the oral surgeon. YOU WILL DO FINE, I know you will! And then you will have some new boobs and will be so proud of them! The exch surgery is MUCH easier than the initial mast and recon. Get some good sleep tonight!!!!

Cami - I thnk I'd seen a long time ago that you have mets. To where are the RB?

I am upset I had my bmx in December and have been told that the breast that had LCIS was found to have ILC 1.5cm and that it is in the lymph nodes and it did not show up on any of the imaging studies only by pathology report.  I was told by my surgeon that she needs to remove more tissue and lymph nodes to be followed by chemo and rads.  Cancer just totally sucks.

DorKable--Hooray for getting your laptop back soon!  I haven't worked with windows 8 yet, not sure if I'm looking foreward to the experience or not.  Don't blame you for not wanting to wear a bra to bed.  Have you tried one of the front hook "leisure" bras?  When I had the bad boob with the dressings that's what I used to hold the dressing on.  Or maybe a cami, in a size or two bigger than you usually wear?  Waking up to puddles in the bed can't be much fun.  Funny you mentioning having an appointment, I had a dream last night about having an appointment and riding a horse to get there on time because there was too much car traffic.  Wonder if it was your appointment that made me dream that?

Wahine--your poor overworked DH, hope he gets unsore quick! The PT folks can really push people sometimes. 

BBBBernie--I'm glad your brother is stable.  Stable is a good place to start.  Pneumonia can be treated.  Complications can be managed.  Still praying for you and your family.

Cammy-sounds like a pretty good appointment, even if it was a bit late.  40 minutes late isn't terrific but it's not horrible either.  I don't mind waiting as long as I know I'm going to get all the time I need with the provider when I do get in.  I always take a book or something to do, too. 

Mema--A good lazy day for all last Sunday, apparently!  I've got to admit the rest did me a world of good.  Which is a good thing, since 2 of my 3 nursing homes have confirmed h. flu cases now.  And I really do not like wearing a mask, but policy is policy and I do NOT want to have the asthma flare up again.  EVER!  I'm glad your Zicam didn't have tylenol in it.  I keep forgetting it comes in different formulations. 

Wahine--waking up with an ayem headache is a symptom of sinus infection.  And since I'm blowing out bloody and yucky stuff (hope no one is eating right now) I'm pretty sure I've got one.  The antibiotics I just finished should clear it out, if not I already have an appointment with my PCP next week.  Doing the sinus douche at least twice a day, and that helps.  Going to try to remember to take a couple tylenol when I get up to pee in the night, that may help the ayem headache.  Once I've been upright (up out of bed) for about 20-30 minutes the pressure eases and the headache goes away.  It's more annoying than anything else. 

ORLA--keep popping the xanax, and hanging, and we'll be with you soon!

Rakul--glad the procedure helps, and glad DD took charge! 

Blackcat--oh my dear, what a hard thing to go through.  If only they'd  be honest with us and tell us the imaging is NOT the final, it's only a preliminary and only the pathology report gives the final diagnosis.  Cancer does totally suck.  Out Loud.  Let us know when the next surgery is so we can be in your pocket!

All my tests were cancelled today and tomorrow--the reason is --BOTTA BONG(drum roll) I'm to sick to be in the hospital right now hahahahaha I've had diarrhea for over 2 days and I'm so weak so we're rescheduled for next week---hopefully I won't have it  LOL I have it all the time. This happens alot--I just wanted to get it over with. Oh well.

Lynda When I first got BC i was DX stage 111, then I don't know what happened after my operation I was told by my BS tht I was Stage IV---I'm just editing this cuz I went thru the story and I disn't make sense cuz me brane is goofy today,  but I really don't ralk about my stage cuz what's the sense and I don't think about it much-I see the Doc every 3 months and everything is under control. That's all I need to know

YAY Lara is doing well (albeit in pain) and has no drains!!! I forgot about that, but I didn't have them for my exch either...quite a perk...hmmmm a perk for perky boobs...I am twying ta be funeeeeee like de Dorkie is alla da time! LOL. Thanks so much for letting us know about Lara, Shannon! And I hope you have some strong meds that will knock that pain outta da park. We did have fun in de doctor's pockets though....shhhhhhh!

Thanks all for your nice thoughts and concern for my dad. He did so well, they didn't even have to give him much numbing stuff. Taking the antib's for 9 days beforehand helped tremendously. No pain meds either, just advil. So he and I went shopping at Earth Fare and Publix, got all their deals.

Cam, it sucks that the darn d'ria is causing you to reschedule all your appointments. I am praying that God gives you mercy, it is too much. And stop worrying about mese hole, it has been over a month and I am doing alright. As for bras, I refuse to shop for bras as every one I have bought hurts. I have spent a fortune on bras and ebery single one hurts. It is my hop to one day be jest like Kat and be able to go braless as I do at night. I have been wearing a tight tank top with two huge gauze pads. For some reason, they shift at night while I sleep. I do sleep very rough, when I wake up, my covers are on the floor quite frequently.

Lynda, it was nice to see you pop in. I am glad you are getting help from your DD. Please thank her for all of us cauze we all love you berry much. She is an angle to help you with everything including making appointments. That is a pain in the anatomy (as our NM would sey), I remember at DX time, I was going nuts with keeping up with appointments, some days I had multiple doctor appointments. I pray for you every day, I hope the drain is helping you to stay comfortable.

so happy my daughter is here even though she doesn't like to do any heavy stuff. Since she'll be here for over 3 months, had to clean that room so someone can live in it. My other friend helped me move out my canvases, wrap everything and put them out in the storage. What a huge job as some of the pieces were as big as 3' x 4'. Trying to put this house back into a home as opposed to one big studio. The only thing I'll keep out is my jewelry stuff. So everday I take out loads of stuff for the Goodwill truck to pick up. The pile won't get bigger than mt. Everest.

Time to go as this is the point where my tablet goes haywire. Hope everyone can get to the lounge soonliest.
