Had a great time with our friends, watched Journey to the Center of the Earth in 3D and had my home made lasagna that I made a few months ago with my home made sketti sauce and froze it. Thanks Cyn, I think it was you that recommended I make that when I didn’t have the stuff for canning. And drank too, of course.

That beer ambulance is cute, Lori! I love beer too, but mainly in the summer. My DH dwinks it year round, and he likes all the $$$ beer. I am a cheapie. Have you seen that pedal wagon thingie? Saw a youtube on it as they have it in MN and Nashville...maybe other places...about 16 people or so pedal and drink...they are sitting facing ea other, but instead of going sideways, the "wagon truck" goes forward like a car. Cute to see it going thru town (well on youtube, I haven't seen it in person). NM I'm glad u'r getting headache relief. When I get a headache I take aspirin and rub aspercream on my frontal lobe (that's feom CSI)-I've done that way before they came out with that stuff that u rub on u'r head, but it seems to help more and I don't stink like Ben-ay--I stink like a nirmal person stinks that needs a shower. I don't know if that's safe but it doesn't say do not use this on u'r head so......
Kat I don't think Dork and one winged Stella are up yet--they were going pretty good last nite--well we were too so can't blame Stella, but I'd like too. Oh that hole ugh--I'd be drining too--all day long. I've never heard of a mouth being attacked or a hole in the middle of a body just sitting there for no good reason--This is a scary movie that can write itself.I have an overworked imagination.

Like I've said before, we learn the most unusual, but helpful things from ea other, on this thread! Cami, does aspercream really work for headaches? MY DH has such horrid ones, every day...he likes to heat up a sock thingie filled with rice and lie in a dark room with it on his head. The aspercream idea might work too....and much easier when we travel. I'll tell him about it right now.....
Oh girls, we DID rent the condo this weekend! Go figure, I hadn't even moved up our craigslist ad....hmmmmmmmm did I mention this already? Sounds like I might have. Oh well...in case i didn't....last ad was end of Nov....we were too busy with Christmas, traveling, and being sick. Don't know HOW she found the ad behind hundreds of others, but a nice couple saw it and wants it for their elderly parents. They showed them the pics (they are 100 mi away), and the parents love it. Its great for them as its on the ground floor, no one above them (cathedral ceilings), with windows looking onto grass, trees, and a stream. And a large screened in back porch, and covered front porch. SO its like being in a cottage. Anyway we will sign the contract tomorrow, and they want it this week. YAY....it was empty for 4 mo cuz we didn't try hard to rent it, as we didn't like the ones that wanted it! LOL. Reason to celebrate now!!!! GOtta go and run some stuff thru the jacuzzi as we like to have it spotless.

I was shocked to wake up today and see that it is all done in jest one day. There was a crew of six men ober dere working....banging, ripping up, debris eberywhere. Well I went to sleep yesturdey before it got dark and jest assumed they would be back today. I did see the boss man dere dis morning, seems like he was jest finishing de clean up, de new roof looks great. I am impressed with the job they did. I wish I could send them to help you. I do not have the issues you have with finding good people, it is ashame that so many people need work yet you can't find a good HONEST contracter who wants to make an honest dollar.
NM, I jest love your silly Sadie. I am enjoying having my DD's puppy. I brought her outside dis morning and told him "go git de toy", I use a squeezy childish voice and she knows what to do when I say toy. I portend to chase her and she jest runs and runs. Had a goot time at the bar yesterday. The twin (Lela) of the gal (Lisa/Gregg slept in treehouse at DB) was in Mesq for the car show, she and her DH were gonna stop in the bar and hab a dwink but they never showed up. Oh well…we dwank their dwinks. Bof cars were too dwunk to dwive, so cabbie took us home. DH went to get his twuck sometime during da nite. It’s 8:30 and he still sleeping. He such an insomniac!! I was gonna make him take me out to breakfast, but it’s getting late and I am getting hungry. So, I am frying up a pound of bacon (I freeze all but 4 slices) and some homestyle taters n onions. I think the aroma will be waking my DH anytime now…heehee!
NM - I jes think Bella spoiled. Since I quit the few days of work at the bar end of DEC means I’m home soo much more and she clings. Like stuff that clings to her. I got froggy yest and vacuumed, but every time I turned around there was more leaf/twigs/etc on the floor. All from Bella’s fur. I give up.
