Tang - sorry you have to be hungry. Just make sure that they know we've got your back if they mess up.
For my treatment I think I will opt for all of you jumping on my chest while holding and eating rum-soaked apple fritters. Oh and if Vinny is around he's the one that I want to hold my ass. Really, I mean it. It's a treatment that has not been documented ANYWHERE! We'll be the first and Sassy can write the paper on it.

There you have it, my humble abode

Nettie - looks lovely and well mowed. Remind me again what part of the country you live in. The dog crates turned up against the fence looks very familiar. I have 2 giant ones, 1 large and several smaller ones. Just looked - most of mine are disassembled and stacked up against patio wall. How many acres do you have? I'd have to log onto my account but I think I got TSH and T4 tested. Exercise - wanted to smack my PCP. I must admit this was March when outdoor exercise is possible in Texas. Now you'd have to be up at 4 am.
OK Phyllodinkster - we'll ring up Vinnie.
I have managed to make potato salad for dinner. Not many ambitions today.

HI ladies, just stopping by to wish you all a great week. Well I got some sleeping pills lol that's why I haven't been around here much
will try to go back and catch up. As usual.... 0 -
philyyyyyy, so sorry u have to go for more tests...when I am worried, I have been known to eat a whole coffee cake.....in the parking lot with my feet hanging out the window...something freeing about that.
Nettie, sorry no one will listen...very frustrating ....go with the rum and apple fritter...love all the property...I am jealous ...I live in a subdivision...35 miles outside of chicago. Used to be apple orchards, and fruit stands and fun country stuff. They have built it up soooooo much and took down all the orchards and no more fruit and veggie stands...they took my country away...it is sad...glad some of you still live in the country......I love it, and miss it.
Hey everyone else
I think he is going to start working on the internet connection....oh boy
Signing off for.....who knows ?

Hey Owlettes,
I know I've been MIA, feeling a little guilty about that and now I'm home with the flu, sleeping, reading, sleeping, coughing, sleeping, taking meds, sleeping, feeling crappy but happy to have some down time.
Some good news....I didn't tell you all that DH entered an outpatient intensive rehab program 6 months ago. He's been sober ever since and our family life is loving and peaceful. He's getting out more, doing more, and DS is home from college and they are doing a lot together. DS has really grown up into a wonderful young man, very industrious, caring, doing a lot of the housework now that I am working so much. He's been trying to get a summer job, applications and interviews - but job market very tight, no one wants a short hire.
After all the trauma of losing my job, breast cancer, alcoholism, etc, it's so nice to have a peaceful existence. I've been working long hours in hospice, learning a lot, studying for my boards and listening to french tapes while I drive between home visits! What a great way to pick up some language skills! My Jazzercise group is going on a trip to Europe next October, mostly in France.
What an eye opener it is making home visits with families from every walk of life. I no longer think I have a messy house! Most people's homes are far messier, some downright, er, let's just say I put shoe covers on before I go inside. 99% of the people are great, regardless of their address, poverty, wealth, education. Another interesting finding is how many people live in multigenerational homes, just like my grandparents did.
Hope you are all well and happy, I miss you and love you!

Nettie- your place is beautiful and so are your pups!

Jwoo, thanks.
But they are not mine, we are boarding them, we run a kennel, but these don't stay outside.
One of them. The larger yorkie, is my grand pup, my son and his wife are on vacation, the others are clients.

What is this, old home visitation week? WOW lots of MIA peeps. Don't be strange and stay away so long!!!!!
Phyllo, I'm so sorry to hear this.

Cute pups and nice place!
Phyllakickass, we are all in your pockets. So sorry you are having such a stressful time. Slip the ankle bracelet on the doc while he's not looking.
Tang, you'll feel so much better once all the nasties are flushed out! In your pocket too!
luvmygoats, loved the video. Nothing cuter than a baby goat. I miss mine.
My husband was one of the first six people in NJ to get West Nile years ago when it first became a concern and all the birds were dying. The funny thing is I thought he was depressed! He laid around and when he didn't want to go kayaking (his favorite thing in the whole world) I knew there was something really wrong and I tried to get him to the doctor. The doctor missed it and it was the Red Cross who picked it up when he donated blood at his work. As long as you are healthy they don't worry about you.

Nettie - I knew that picture looked "southern". The trees look just like ours. We have elms, a few willows, cottonwoods, a pecan (native I think) and a planted sweetgum. Oh now I see the reason for all the crates. Ours are for goats, well 2 are for the spoiled rat terrrier.
Shelster - good to hear from you. OO - yes it does teach you how others live. I would come home and think the same thing about my house. Messy, some dirt but liveable. You can walk thru mine at least and find perching points and clean laundry. Wish I could say it had improved greatly since I quit working. Such great news about your DH. Sorry about the flu. Hope you get to feeling better soonest.

Hey ya'll! I'm home...just ate a sonic burger and feeling pretty good actually. Thanks for all the pocket help and good wishes/thoughts. I slept alot while waiting up there, so the hunger wasn't too bad. This was my first time at this facility and it was really fancy and modern. Doctor told dh he took out 6 inches of tissue from my chest wall! Please let this be the end of all of this!I love all the pretty yards, I hope to get back on my feet and work in my yard soon...or by next spring lol. Love and kisses to all of you ladies. oh yeah nurses told me that when I was waking up I was talking about how much I hated BC and it sucked. They said I was smiling and happy though lol, I don't remember a thing. I also have this anxiety that I'm going to fart on the operating table, am I just crazy? tee-hee

Tang a rooney - rest up sweetie. So glad you're home and in good shape. Uh pretty much bet OR nurses have seen everything so they would take farting in stride. At least there's nothing to clean up.

hey Tang, glad that's over. Be good and take it easy for awhile.
Hey enerva, glad to see you back.
Now we know why Nettie has a riding lawn mover. I can see why the dog like to ride.
Phylillietritterrumcake, so sorry to hear. Does that kind of biopsy hurt or are you out?
Hey everybody else.
Went swim aerobatics this morning, then to my moms, accidently let it slip that I was having the girls replaced inoctober. Didn't want her to know yet, now she'll just worry herself silly. Then went to the movies with a girlfriend I haven't seen in a while. Now Im Going to sit on my but the rest of the night.

Here's a photo of the actual Scorpion that stung me on November 5, 2013. My husband trapped it in a plastic box in case we needed to show them what it looked like (we took a photo before we left for the ER):

tang, farting on the operating table? Oh gosh. I've never thought about that before. Now I wonder if I have. eek! Glad to hear you're back home and have had something to eat.
blessings, love the front of your house. It does look like a cottage!
phgraham, I'm hoping it's nothing. Nothing, nothing, nothing. I had my MM card in California but like Bill Clinton, I couldn't inhale so it didn't do me much good.
camillegal, good to see you.
nettie, I love your place. It looks very private but at the same time very welcoming.

Morning gals........... HIO! Eeeeks~! I saw that pic with the lady and her, um..... nails? Now that is hideous. I used to love long fake nails and the brightest colors when I was working, but they sure went out of style.... I had to carry super-glue in case one of them snapped off, ha! But I put them on myself, then brushed acrylic over them to make them stronger...

Now this is a little bit flashy, even for ME.... Ha!
Hi Beatmon! How fun you found us! Oh so Miss Phyllileaderofthepack led you to us? We have one little Walmart here, that is just nice, and clean, and very few people... so we know where everything is, and we can just go in, shop, take our lunch, spread out a tablecloth, and have a nice afternoon!
Ha, ha.... that would be so funny! I found 3 more of this special type of tomato plant... "Indigo Rose".... The tomatoes are sort of small, almost black, and when the bottom turns red, (instead of the green they are now) they are ready to be picked...
They are higher in anti-oxidants than any other, so hopefully they will even TASTE good...Ha!
And that's my Walmart story for the day.
Geez Cammi! Didn't you get my email? I was fretting, and walking around her in a daze, because you were not anywhere around! Damn kid! Just pop by ONCE in awhile, to let us know what you are doing!
Glad you were with Joey! You need to show him how to communicate with us, if you get too sleepy, or something!
So WHEN is your appt? And WTH are you talking about with this bar of soap under your cushion? And you are under the floor?
Figures......
Susan! Ha, ha! That was funny.... about your retina's burned!
Wren.....I know! I hate when things get so over-grown... And you look at it and think "Where in the hell do I START?" So I get out my "kneeler" and plop down in one corner, and just start digging, and take my time, and just do a little, and then a little more.... until I either fall over, or it is done.
Sorry Littlegoats about DH! I'll bet a lot of things happen to us, and it's because of a bite, or a scratch, or something we don't even think about! Or like a rock in the alley!
Next time I'll maybe SEE it, and go around!
Hi SillyPhylli! That was funny.... I miss when you can't, or won't post! Cammi ISN'T irrelevant.... I think the word is irresponsible.... oh wait, maybe incomprehensible... or something close.... We give her lee-way here, you know...
Littlehoney, maybe that what-ever they called it will turn out to be nothing.... We are with you kiddo.... when are those bastards going to do this?
Yes.... sit on your front porch.... put your legs with slippers up on the banister , and yell for all the cute men to stop in for a joint.
Maybe like this....
Yes Beatmon.... it IS legal here.... damn people!
Good Nettie! No more tests.... ! Yes.... take Claritin.... it really helps.
So just don't cry.... go mow instead.... We understand.... but don't worry about stuff that you don't know for sure...
WTH? You have a whole STATE that you live in! I don't know how you keep it up! Guess you don't have to worry about "noise" from the neighbors!
I love all of your open space! I would get lost.
Hi Enerva! catch up, and come back again!
Yes, Developers will take everything they can.... It's like you can't go for a drive in the "country" anymore.... It's all built up!
Shells, I am so happy for you! But sorry you are sick... I think you are run-down... so much to do, and stress and all... But now it sounds like things are peaceful ..... and all you can do is enjoy life, and your family, and thank God that things happened.
Nettie! How fun to see pics of your "boarders"! I would want to keep them all.
And WTH size is your TV? Good Lord, I mean the neighbors could watch it through your windows! 3 blocks away! Do any of you remember the TV's from the 50's? And we used to put a piece of this izing-glass over it to make it in color?
Spookie, that is a GREAT picture of that happy dog!
And morning 222nd! Hope you are feeling alright!
Glad to see you Tang! A Sonic Burger? THAT sounds delicious! Hope you are feeling better... Sorry you had to go through that.....
Just don't fart.... not never-ever.... we'll all just laugh!
Morning Smartypants! Your Mom will worry.... WE worry.... But she will take it from how you act about it... So just act like it's no worries for you...
What movie did you see? I want to see "22 Jump Street".... the previews just look so funny!
Oh CRAP Lee! Eeeeeeeeks! That is one BFS! How did you get him to pose for that picture?
Okay.... guess I got everybody..... Have a nice Tuesday gals!
xoxoxoxo

Tang, glad it wasn’t too bad and wow, a sonic burger on the way home! I’ve never been so lucky, the anesthesia pretty much does me in! Hope this is the beginning of feeling better for you!!
And I’m so confused by the different names that everyone calls Phyllis and is her screen name Phragm or am I really confused??
And Chevy, who is LittleHoney and what’s going on, for some reason, I missed it! Anyway, I too wish
her well! And Chevy, I really wish they would do a test so that I could have peace of mind, but no one, and I do mean, no one seems to think that it is the least bit necessary! I basically cried all afternoon and into the evening because it seems that I will have this back pain with me forever and
not know that actually it is OK! I’m sure at some point in the future, they will test, but for now I have to live with the worry! I’m trying to put it to the back of my mind! And the only thing about the “boarders” is that they are a lot of work! I do fall in love, but I’m glad when they go home so I can have a break! And the TV is a 50”, it is the DH, I only get to watch it if he is not around! I have a 39” that I watch most of the time! Unless of course NASCAR is on and then we watch together!! Oh and I was so happy with Dale, Jr.’s win Sunday! And since we are talking about “farts”, I have just a little funny! My GD who is 21 months was with
us one day last week, I got in the pool with her but she kept calling for her Papaw to get in, well he finally came, and boy, I wish I had on video! She is very observant and that was the first time she had seen him without a shirt and she acted like he was a stranger because of the hair on his chest! Well after she got past being disgusted by that, he rubbed his knee on the wall of the pool, accidentally, and it made “THAT” sound and she looked at him and very disgustedly said “ooh, papaw, you fart!” I thought I would die from laughing! Never know what will come out of the mouth’s of babes!Well, better get some work done! I’ll catch up again later!
Happy Tuesday! Oh and this is a repeat, but I can’t help it, it always makes me smile!
