San Diego dates: June 15-18 (is that right, badger?).

Super busy day: walked with my Wednesday ladies but had to skip breakfast for a dentist appointment Sad. Then went to the funeral of one of our good friend's mother (in a different town; between the driving, service, luncheon etc. a total of 6 hours). I have some work I have to get done before tomorrow, so am signing off right now!!

patoo - oh no!  I've done that before...a simple movement and then it wreaks havoc.  Hope you'll be feeling better soon.

cheryl - I had trouble with my van for over a year where it wouldn't start for me and then I would have it towed and it would start at the dealership.  They could never diagnose it because it would always start for them.  I parked in tow friendly spots for a very, very long time. Funny thing is, they decided it was one of two parts.  Replaced both of them then turned the key to drive it out of the bay and it wouldn't start!!  The first time it did it for them and it was AFTER they actually did something.  It was some really random problem with the grounding to the battery so sometimes there was enough power to start it and sometimes there wasn't.  They fixed that and now it is good.

    claire - beautiful pictures!

Still no exercise today...another long work day and am trying to get my headache to go away

NatsFan, that's at the top of Duone Castle in Scotland. We were over there in September taking our oldest to college. He's a freshman at the University of St Andrews. If you're a Monty Python fan, you'll recognize the castle from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Grr work again today, long day, no exercise. Going to need inspiration as the weather gets colder I tend to like to hibernate and eat! Gotta get out there.

Cheryl, hope your car continues to start regularly. Car troubles are the pits.

Patoo, hope your back feels better super soon.

My exercise for today was an hour long walk.

Well car started for work today, at lunch when I went to pick up sandwiches, got me home, got me to the gym and then nothing.... I went to Spin class and came out to nothing, I sat there for an hour then just gave up and walked the mile home, and Mel too funny, I have been parking 'tow truck' ready all day, I don't know if I'll go up there later tonight and try to start it or just go in the morning and if it won't start get it towed again, utterly frustrating especially as all all the lights come on, the radio and air conditioning work so I'm guessing it's some computer glitch or a loose wire somewhere, I need a magic wand.

Patoo I hope the back feels better, don't forget to ice it. Beth you'll get inspiration from Ruth she is the queen of winter workouts. Kindergarden we'll do lunch one Saturday for sure as I definitely want to go back and do Combat again with the guy in Torrance he was really good and I liked all the people in the class there. Jazzy I don't know about the Garmin as I have a Fitbit but I think anything that helps motivate you is worth the investment. Teacher glad you're back in the saddle. Mel I would recommend ice for the headache too, when I get one I put an ice pack on the base of my spine and find it really helps.

Claire, nice pics!  Patoo, ouch! Hope you could get a good night's sleep. Cheryl, if it's the same problem as Mel had, maybe the car will need more power at night to start up and may not be inclined to do so. Not that I know anything about cars.  Mommy, that Gazelle looks interesting. If your feet are dancing with the music, move your hands along with them and you get a total body workout. Happy

BodyJam last night with a new release.

Gonna do a bit of dancing in the kitchen this morning as I do the dishes this morning. Was too wiped out last night to do them. Plus I have one little load of laundry to do, so that will be my excercise for the day!

LA - ahh, the Castle Anthrax!!!  And Camelot, the wedding scene ("It's my idiom!"), the Trojan rabbit, and even the very first scene when they argue with the garrison guard.  (Yes, I do know my Monty Python!!)  Did you get to see a fully laden swallow carrying a coconut??  Loopy How fun to see the actual castle!

Patoo - ouch!!  Weird how one wrong move can do that.  Take care!  Cheryl - how annoying about the car.  And public transportation is not exactly a viable option out in SoCal.  Kindergarten - your Pirates looked so good at the beginning of the game - the fans sure were out in force!  But it's tough to get anything going against Baumgarner.  My boss is from Johnstown and is a fierce fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams so she's very disappointed today as well.  We get to face the Giants tomorrow - wish us luck!

Yin yoga class last night, 3 mile run this morning.

    Nats,

love Monty Python. My favorite scene was the Holy Hand Grenade and the fight scene with The Black Knight, not to mention the Knights Who Say Ni!

Well just waiting for the laundry to come out of the dryer to fold it!

Mel I meant top of the spine for the headache dah, I just rest the ice pack in my neck and usually put a towel around my neck to hold it in place.  Heidi are you doing release 70, that's the one we just started it is so much fun and hopefully I'll get to go tonight. I'm getting ready to walk the mile up to my car and see if it starts, if not I'll be riding off in the sunset in a tow truckLoopy

Hi all. Love Month Python especially the Life of Brian. Also adore Leonard Cohen and for Hallelujah my fav performer was KD Lang believe it or not. She brought the house down at the finale of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

I've been doing some pretty good exercising this week - over 10,000 steps per day, 18 holes of golf, worked out at the gym last night but no dog walking cuz the weather has been awful. Still proud cuz I've done it all with a really sore back.

Tonight my first Zumba class and possibly the low impact class. Yay.

Today I drove my car for the first time in 15 months!!! And drove myself to the YMCA for the livestrong class. I did all the leg curl machines, thigh strengthening and upper torso ones. Then did stretches. I'm so excited about being allowed to drive! My daughter must be seeing improvement on my leg's range of motion to have suggested that I could drive myself. I am sooo happy. It felt so great, a relief really, to find myself autonomous again! Thank you for the Voices. I couldn't do it without you.

The Voices say 'Hooray Aurora, keep up the great work!' ThumbsUp

I had a productive day. One of my friend's advanced 6th grade English classes (2 sections) have been doing research projects on the presidents & since presidential trivia is my hobby, I volunteered (ie begged) to come in and talk  with them this morning....it was really, really fun. What a great bunch of kids! I hope if she needs to take a day off, she will ask me to be her sub. After I got done at school,  I took a long walk in the nice fall weather, did a pilates DVD & (along with DH) cleaned out the storage shed, put away the lawn furniture, hoses etc. etc. Boo Hoo, the picnic season is done here. Now I am sitting here watching the Vikings getting off to an awful start against the Packers.....yikes!!!!

Beth, what a beautiful place you have to run! Looks like your Orioles are doing well tonight (we switched channels for a few minutes to get a break from the football game!).

Red, how did you like Zumba? It is my very favorite exercise!

Beth, love your running trail. Fall is my favorite season with all the colors.

Lilacblue and Cheryl, how frustrating! Hope your stories have a happy outcome.

Went to bootcamp tonight and think the instructor was trying to kill us...ha ha.. Certain that I will feel that workout tomorrow but all worth it if I can get rid of these last two pounds to hit my goal weight.

cheryl - Thanks for the headache tip - it was gone when I woke up, but I'll remember it for next time!  Too crazy about your car troubles...definitely sounds like mine.  I hope it started for you today!

Am happy to report I heard the voices and, despite getting home late from an all day retreat, I did 20 minutes on the stationary bike!

    Goodnight all!

hi everyone. Thanks for all the condolences. It has been a tough week.

I did get a run in on Tuesday morning. It was so dark at 6am that I needed to use the flashlight on my phone to see the ground. That will be my last before school run till spring. It was just too dark; i run in a fairly wooded area and I kept expecting to run into a wild animal. This morning,I was able to run later because I had the day off to help my mother-in-law with some stuff. Looks like afternoon running until it starts to get dark too early.

    Claire- fabulous pictures!

I got 30 mins on the elliptical tonight. I found it interesting that my MO is encouraging me to cut back on exercise the first week after chemo. Doesn't want me to tire myself out. I guess it makes sense. I also took my dog for a walk. Looking forward to the weekend and a nice long run.

Beautiful running trail Beth. So happy for you Auroaya you're getting stronger day by day.. Odie isn't it funny how  the instructors never seem to break a sweat but we feel like we've been put through the wringer. Red hope you got to dance.

Well rode to work in a tow truck this morning, turns out I needed a new starter motor and they were able to do the work today and I am up and running again so I was able to go and dance my cares away tonight at Body Jam.
