Noodleburgers Recipe.... Hamburger, chopped up and fried a little.
Add cut up celery and onions.... cook with hamburger until tender.
Add 1 can Rotele Tomatoes, or diced tomatoes, and 1 can of tomato sauce. Add 1 can of water... Salt and Pepper
Add to cooked pasta.... 1 # is too much, unless you are feeding a family... Use maybe 1/2 bag... or 12 ozs...
Let all sit a minute or 2 and then serve... ! It's really good, and easy.....

Patty- I hope too the tumor being frozen and removed takes away your pain. Rest well tonight.

I went in this morning and had the dogears removed. Done in the office with local. Other than getting numb it isn't too bad. Taking half pain pill for now. Seems to work ok. This is the end of the boobs story. Now everything is done! (I'll believe that when its been 6 months after). Back to sleeping on the couch for a couple night.
I can't remeber everything, but caught up on everyone. Be good and careful out there. Especially you guys on the east coast

Spookie.....Judging by the clothes hes wearing, it appears too cold for Flip-flops and barefeet.
On my way home from work today I saw someone hit by a car today. The runner was no more than 10 feet from me when she was hit. I can't stop shaking.

Patty, sounds promising...prayers your way for painfree healing....fingers crossed too
Hubby set up his back surgery for next month......one of us has to get in better shape...and I raised his hand for him....straighten, fuse, and be in less pain.....back to work in two weeks. The guy can hardly walk and he is in a ton of pain. Over the last 4 years he has tried everything but surgery. So here we go. Wish us luc

Dutch- that is a horrible thing to see. I have seen some bad car accidents, but never a biker or a runner hit.
I hope you can feel better. That would have me so upset too.

Spookie- you see all kinds of weird get ups here in the desert. It has been mild here lately, but a few weeks ago when it was cold, I saw several people in the store with shorts and flip flops (and usually a winter jacket on). Hello, it's winter!
GS #2 is a cute kid!
0 -
Oh Dutch, that's scarey! Feel better.
Yup, flip flops. Just a normal Floridakid on a winter night
0 -
Dutchie, so sorry you had to witness that. Try to forget if possible
Spookie, looks like flip flops don't match, otherwise normal. DD was teased for wearing them to a Patriots home game a year ago. She was freezing but always wears them. GS2 is a sweetie.

They are normal for here! And him.

now for the gossip: DBIL and DSIL live up in the hills of Malibu (they have money, we don't.) He was eyeing this property for years as it has one of the best views of the ocean in the area, lots of celebrities live in the area. He approached the owner back before 2000, asked him to contact DBIL when he decided to sell, which he did. When they bought the property, they gutted part of the interior, gorgeous property (almost 2 acres), beautiful inside as well (DBIL owns a construction company). Anyway, they've been trying to sell it as kids are grown and they've decided to split (DBIL has been living on the Gulf Coast since Hurricane Katrina). He called DH today to say house has been sold. Sold to Robin Thicke (apparently his soon to be ex lives nearby).

Chevyboy - I'm still trying to figure out how that car hit that angle. Even for Colorado that's extreme.
Dutch - what a horrible thing to witness. SO sorry you had to be there.
Spooks - loved seeing your thermometer. Enjoy it for us.
Stay warm, everyone.

Robin Thicke sings Blurred Lines. Some brouhaha about performing with Miley Cyrus
0 -
Enerva- he is an American singer and the son of a well known actor from the 70s. This is his big song called Blurred Lines as noted above.
There is a similar video to this with these same girls where they are dancing nude. The wife left him.
Oh yeah, dancing with the Miley in provoctive ways-the death blow to that relationship.

oh lol that Miley citrus kid is nuts. Lol

not exactly wee hours where I am, but I wasn't sure where else to post this. (New, and only two weeks into my journey.). So today my supervisor, with my blessing, told the sales team and naturally the word has started to spread. I attended a dinner tonight where spouses and SO were invited. With the women that now know my status, I see genuine care and concern but I also see fear. I think I know what they are thinking. I am 43 but most people forget that and assume I am still in my 30s. I have always been incredibly healthy without even trying to be healthy. The first questions are how did I find out and how long have I known. When I explain how this all just started two weeks ago, I think that increases the fear. The next question is if I have family history. They seem to be thinking if it can happen to her, it can happen to me. I am her2+ and will start chemo first, this coming Monday in fact. That's goes against what most people know or think they know about breast cancer. Ten days ago I had not even heard of HER. I think I could given a darn good presentation on it to today.

welcome and sorry sugar cakes. Gonna be a tough 2 weeks. Hang in there and my prayers are with you. Please keep us updated...we will be nice at first, then chevy will start to tease you, and give you a nickname. She calls me sweet sue.....not sure I am all that sweet, but I will try to live up to the name. Are you married? Kids? If so how are the hanging in too.
Well ladies, if I stay up for 3 more hours, that means I have done an allnighter...should I try ?

Welcome Sugar Cakes. Sorry you needed to find us, you are too young, not fair....
Dutchie, damn, that is trauma fueling, PTSD. I was witness, involved in a pile up a few years back. Total white out. Winter storm, snow 50 mile wind. The 15 year old in front of me drove over a 49 yo man. Traumatic Brain injury. Just devasting. No way to erase the memory or visual. My good friend tells me "think happy thoughts".
Just heartbreaking for them both. We were all driving at a snail pace, 5 miles an hour or so. He had gotten out of his rig to check on another couple that was hit.
Rose, not sure if I told you how sorry I am about your latest scans.... Stinkin Cancer....
I had pre op ( chest X-ray, ekg, blood work ) for my up coming shoulder repair ! Not happy about this, I had my right shoulder repaired 10 years ago. Very painful. Like most of us, I have reached my tolerance for pain. What do you do? Smile & hope it goes well. Elective surgery, I feel like Humpety Dumpy, only skinny. The nurse checking me in , gave me a do not eat sugar pep talk to keep the cancer away. She knew nothing about Breast cancer, had never heard of lobular. Smile, thanks for the tip. Arrrrgg.
Patti, did he freeze these externally or internally? Hope it relieves your pain. Or at least take it down several notches.
Night all.....

Welcome SugarCakes, We are all here to help you. I am triple negative, so I know more than I ever wanted to know for sure. There is a lot of info here, just ask. And if you haven't heard, avoid Dr. Google, a lot of the info is outdated, and simply wrong. Here you get the info in real time, with very real answers. No candy coated truth here, a great thing. I want to know what I am dealing with, and this is no time for surprises!
I have family in Lenoir, very beautiful and the Blue Ridge Mountains are enchanting! I hope you can enjoy the trails there for a very needed walk. Spring will be lovely. I live on Lake Erie, and I enjoy the water and the beach.
Let us know what you need - we have your back!
