    Hugs Aurora.

Still doing 'stuff' around the house so no formal exercises and going away for the weekend. Will do aqua aerobics with my sister one day but probably not much more useful exercise. If the weather is okay will try and get out to walk.

Enjoy your weekend my sculpted friends.

Went to rowing class last night. Did a set of workouts that totaled 10,000K meters. Whew! Trying to get more walking in now that the weather is getting better.

Auroaya, hope you are feeling better. I hope you can get back to the Y because (at least for me) moving helps channel some of the sadness.

Boo Hoo, my basketball team lost. But it was a fun, exciting atmosphere . They play again tomorrow & if they win, they will be in the consolation championship, so we shall see.

I just got a Fitbit (I set it up yesterday), and am feeling pretty cocky because I already earned an 'Urban Boot Badge' for how many steps I took today Loopy

Aurora - I am so sorry. I hope you're able to get back to the Y soon.

Lilac- congratulations! We all knew you could do it!! ThumbsUp Ruth - sorry about the b-ball team but it sounds like a great time. Badger - desperately impressed that you met Hank!

Hoping to get back on the exercise wagon this weekend. Moving really disrupts a routine!

Went to the gym today, first time since diagnosis. Did the bike, stepper, rowing machine and treadmill then some weights on my legs. I am aiming to do the Yorkshire Three Peaks in June. Back at the gym tomorrow to get a programme set up and then on sunday planning to do a mother's day walk with my mum.

Exercise is addictive and makes you feel so much better!

Exercise today was cleaning out garage and going shopping with DD. I am exhausted and getting ready to take a nap. Record highs today again. So hope to get out for a walk with DH when he gets home.

    Welcome Sandie!

    Congratulations LB! Way to Go!!!

Hi All. I'm at a South Carolina beach visiting with 7 of my good friends for our annual girl weekend. In years past we have gotten together for a one night sleepover. Because we all turn 60 this year we decided to really celebrate and go to the beach for 3 nights. The weather is cloudy and cool but that doesn't stop us from beach walking! Great fun!

Thanks Aurora! Some of the girls have already turned 60. I'm the "baby" of the group because my birthday is in September.

Want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

3/13- 45 minutes of resistance training today.

Claire- I seemed to have missed something about the loss of one of your friends. Hugs sister.

Aurora- you just need to take it easy with the SE's from your infusion and the loss of your father. Maybe an easy walk when you can and the gym will be there for you when you are able.

Congrats, Lilacblue!  I am carbloading now as there's a Les Mills special today at the gym, with my regular Zumba at the end.

Welcome, Sandie! I looked up the YTP after your post and sounds like a great idea.

    Welcome, Sandie!

Whoo Hooo, Lilac!! Congratulations on the test!!!

I did 30 minutes on the treadmill yesterday & was off to more basketball. Our team was playing in the consolation bracket and won by 2 points in overtime. A lot of the starters were in foul trouble, so kids off the bench got more playing time. One of the big starters did foul out in overtime and it was his little replacement who made the winning shot right as the buzzer went off!

I am going to do a little pilates now & then it will be off to the 5th place Championship Game. I feel like I'm catching a cold, so I am already looking forward to coming home and going to bed.......and the day hasn't even begun! Yikes!

I am reporting in my exercise from yesterday.  We had a beautiful 65 degree day so I walked at lunch and after work both.  63 minutes total.

Congrats, Lilac!  Now what is level 3?

Welcome, Sandie.  It does feel good to get back to it.

What fun, Wonderland.  I hope you girls enjoy your beach weekend.

It's Pi Day, ladies.  Does that give me an excuse to have pie, even though since being sick I've drifted horribly into carb territory and am trying to fight my way back to better eating?  Yesterday I did a very low carb day and successfully got through it and now I'm contemplating pie!

Our house is on the market - an Open House is scheduled for Sunday so, wish us luck for a lot of traffic! The agent did a fabulous job with the pix for his website - the house never looked so good! So if you know anyone who is moving to the DC area, I happen to know a great house that just came on the market!! Winkinghttp://www.victorllewellyn.com/idx/mls-mc8571560-1...

We put a ton of boxes of stuff in the garage as we moved, so today's exercise will consist of going through that stuff and getting it unpacked and sorted. We need to do that as I can't find a ton of stuff - for instance I've had to wear the same two pairs of shoes all week because all my other shoes are somewhere in the garage! It's a cold rainy day so,it'll be perfect to hang out in the garage.

    Congrats Lilac!! Welcome Sandie!

Mary: good luck with the house. Will keep my fingers crossed for you.

I had a nice week in Arizona - work meetings til 1 pm then time to be outside. Did a lot of walking. This past week was my first week back to work and it was physically harder than I was hoping. I am on my feet a lot at work. I was pretty exhausted each evening. Today I have been busy with errands and getting the house back in order but have not done much in the way of exercise. I am exactly 8 weeks out from surgery, so have to remember I am still healing.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hi, I hope everyone enjoys the weekend! I did a 45 min. DVD from the Firm. It took me an hour to finish. I just returned from a business trip and did not do very well with my healthy eating and exercising. I guess the good thing is that I felt guilty for not keeping up with things and felt fantastic after today's workout. Thank goodness because the Arimidex is making it impossible to loose weight. I will be happy to just hold my own for the next 4.5 years!!

Mothering Sunday here and off to yoga with son. Thank you again for you congrats and support (I was so insecure on passing), and the bulbs planted last October near the front door are shooting up - spring has arrived.

hi all and happy Mothering Sunday LB.  Congrats on passing your exams ~ onward & upward!

Cheryl, yes! to beer in Milwaukee.  If you can't find good beer there you're not looking very hard.

Mary, your realtor did a nice job on the slide show and your house is beautifully staged.  Bittersweet in a way, I have such fond memories of staying there during our Wash DC Sculpted Sisters trip three (?) years ago.

Had supper with mom after work on Fri and it was still so mild I walked a while when I got home.  Gorgeous yesterday although a bit windy.  Walked for errands in the morning and was going to walk some more later but fell asleep after consuming the slice of strawberry-rhubarb pie I ate to celebrate pi day.  Not used to that much sugar and it literally knocked me out.

Today, I am itching to Garden & Sculpt.  Maybe too early yet to take away the mulch but will peek anyway.  The snow crocus are usually first to appear.  Will walk for sure later.  ♥

Between my cold & 3 days straight of yelling at basketball games, I woke up this morning with no voice. When I say it is pretty quiet around here......it is! Shocked

We have been having the most gorgeous weather (it is 70 degrees right now.....the average high for March is 37 degrees.....so even though I feel kind of crummy, I felt I could not waste a nice day (the weather is suppose to take a dive tomorrow) so I went and picked up a big garbage can full of branches in the backyard while DH took down the Christmas lights (better late than never) and then we took a walk. Now I am sitting out on the back deck with the cats who are very, very happy to be breathing fresh air, listening to outside noises etc. et .

Whoever forecast mid-60's today was high by 15 degrees. Not warm but not cold either so got out and walked my 2.5 mile route.  Checked flowerbeds and nothing is coming up under the mulch, not even the snow crocus, so letting the garden sleep a while longer.

This week I take the last of my tamox and start anastrozole (generic Arimidex).  Apprehensive.

Time to go start supper.  Have a good week ahead everyone! ♥ to all
