    I was 66 at first DX and still 66 when another IDC also found in opposite breast three months later.

    I was dx at age 36, just before my daughter's 15th birthday. It made me feel like I ruined it for her. :(

    After years of chasing this - four stereotactic biopsies, three surgical biopsies, two findings of ADH and one papilloma (and a partridge in a pear tree!!) I finally got the DCIS diagnosis so off they came. I was 53

    I am 50 was diagnosed March 19, 2015 had mastectomy done on right side April 7, 2015. Waiting for two more test results to come back before we decide on treatment and or surgery to remove left breast and left ovary.

    • 55 at dx. Just finished #3 of 4 AC then start Taxol and Herceptin then hormones. Seems like a lot for stage one but doing what is recommended to prevent recurrance!

    48 at time of diagnosis. Supposedly that is on the young side. According to what I've heard mid 60s is avg age of diagnosis. We may be trending younger on this thread just because less people over the age of 60 are comfortable with computers and he Internet than people under 60.

    42 with ILC "old lady cancer" wth? 3 weeks ago today was BMX, feeling almost normal again!

    I was 29. i just turned 30 on April 23. I was diagnosed march 9, 2015. of course I was shocked but i was also determined. BMX with TE recon. on April 14. 2015. I feel pretty good. except for the drain situation, the drains suck.

    59 soon to be 60 in May! Not sure which is more surprising breast cancer or almost 60. Time goes by and cancer sucks!
