    Thanks Aurorya and Sas. Wren - I had a kitten that looked like the dark torti (as they're called here in NZ) back when I was about 10. She was an ugly kitten to be honest. But she grew up to be a stunningly beautiful cat. This one looks like her mom, who is an amazing cat - very cool personality. Her name is Camo, and she's back with her owner and doing great. This was shot shortly before she left to go home.

    Awwhhh for kitty failure! I suppose that's the risk of foster kittens! Sounds like an all around celebration Birthday and adoption day!

    KCM, Glad to see that you're about as strong as I would be! I would be a cat lady for sure, I just wouldn't be able to say no to those little faces, especially the tortie ones.

    Sas - we bought the tree (which is falling apart) off a local ebay type site. It's from China and not the best built thing I've ever seen, but it was cheap. :) It had several other pieces but they've fallen off or broken. But the cats still like it. We're thinking when we move we need to buy another one as the kittens have displaced the big boys.

    I need the smoke alarm! :) I have a fridge magnet that says "Dinner is ready when the smoke alarm goes off"

    We got rid of smoke alarm because of that cooking alarm nonsense.

    Now we live in fear and/or ignorance.

    Must be ignorance because we are happy.
