    lovely, works for me!!! Yay!!!

That fat left arm is why I want a pump. Too hot for the sleeves.

Blondie, take the boys for a drive through Ding Darling Nature Preserve. It's close, and I think all would like it.

Chevy, they are freezing. She's been bummed because of the smoke.

Hot flashes suck, ya'all look good! Rock on.

Sas, saw that thread, thought she shut up and went away. Maybe it's really a troll.

Marlana you look great, go forth with bald headed pride. Too dang hot to wear wigs and scarfs! Hi Nettie! Hi Wren. Holinone- eewww a dishwasher full of mold gross. Glad you found a rental you like. Loverly you headed to Florida too? Who is going to watch those cute girls of yours? Thanks you for sharing the photos of your meeting Spookie and Sass. Jazzy- not a clinical trial as Ibrance was released in Feb/March 2015. I got a call from specialty pharmacy that they will send it as soon as insurance pays. hmm so it's a last ditch thing, we will see.

Chevy- what are you yacking about? Are the Mods limiting comments and pictures? No more glass and thrifting and flowers? Did you finish painting your adorable cottage? Yep it would be sad if this virtual coffee shop got shot down... sharing cancer tx stories, drug profiles and SE, anxieties, friends and families. There is much to share in cancerland.

    Mariana: another "love the picture!"

Lover(of life): ....you mean health insurance companies also have someone who says "NO, we're not covering that. Don't even think about asking your medical team to attempt billing us for thus-and-such." (Had a six-month battle with BCBS last year about which plan they were supposed to be using.)

    sas,spooks,blondiex, great pics...thanks for sharing.

I hope everyone's tummy problems, fatigue, pain, swelling, and treatments are easier to handle today. Sometimes just a day or two brings us back to that happy place where we know we can do this.

My hubby takes off for California Tuesday. He bikes the coast with friends every year. 400 miles in 5 days. I only peddle 16 at one time...haha....I am not interested about pretending I am at the Tour de France . He is a bit worried cause the next day is treatment for me with my extra fun zometa. Zometa didn't like me, mutual feeling. Told him no worries, I sleep for 3 days anyway. And I am very crabby. So better he is not here . Lo

Thanks, all for the encouraging words on what I'm now calling my "Pink Jelly Bean" photo. It's a much better photo than my "Uncle Fester" photo that I took 4 days after round 2.

I worried about Sas being for going off on the troll--she usually chimes in by now

We have more rain this afternoon, nice and gentle which will soak in. My yard and gardens are happy!

I took my car to the auto body shop and got an estimate from them, and then the insurance company called with theirs today ($1000 gap, but know insurance low balls and auto body overestimates, and we we come out in the middle). The guy told me today I need to be sure to push on this being uninsured motorist given the hit and run, which no one has really talked about yet, but does apply here. The insurance company confirmed today once they get the police report,

So this is funny, the gal that called from insurance today was helping the other person assigned to my claim and remember she helped me when I had a bad hail storm/roof replacement a few years ago. She said "well, it is good to hear from you and to know things are going well." Um, well, not so much since my car got hit! LOL!. AMICA has been great to deal with through several problems with the house, so hoping this will work out too. I need it to go through uninsured motorists because the deductible is lower and it won't impact my rates. I have never had to use my auto in the 20 years I have been with them, except for some towing stuff.

I'm here I'm here. I didn't go off the deep end, but let her know she wasn't right. I'll post the link. Actually, I thought it was pretty good. But it's all in perception

Home, off to collect pills, and dinner with DBF will check in later HUGSs.

Found us a restaurant for when Loverly comes. Crabby Bills, open 11-5. Good seafood, had/have their own boats. Some land food too.

Troll seems to be gone, haven't seen her around.

    Off to dog park soon.

Hello dear ladies. Whats all this talk about limiting pages for threads ? No way mods. This is my lifeline. I am loving all the pics people are posting. I love to put a face to the names. Some people's pic really surprises me. Not exactly what I had in my head. Some are exactly as i had pictured. My sister and family went home this am. We did have some good times but my great niece was a complete terror. Next month she will be 4. She had a temper tantrum and meltdown at least 1 per hour. Screaming__ crying _ kicking, hitting, throwing things. My sis didn't do anything. Its been awhile since my boys were that age but they never were allowed to behave like that. This is the first time ever that I was SO ready to see them leave.

Blondie - sas- spookie. Love the pics. Y'all look so happy. I am jealous. Hope you had s wonderful visit. So I gotta know , who was the wildest ? My bet is on SAS.

SAS - I pmd you about the brownies. The best ever by far. I can't think of the right Words to express my appreciation. As far as you Ds , hoping the federal appeasl is denied. You must be very proud of him.

Susan - what a hard decision to make about your mom. It is true if they live long enough, we will e caring for them in the same way they cared for us as infants. I hope I don't live that long. Don't wasn't to burden my children. Zoneta didn't like me either. I eventually had to change to Exgeva. Is Dh riding a bicycle or motorcycle 400 miles?

Blondie. - I wish for you that you have the energy to enjoy every minute of your trip. I can't believe it's finally time. Take a lot of pics to share with us please

Jazzy -car insurance can be so hard to deal with. The blooming artichoke looks way to pretty to eat. I had no idea they looked like that

Rosevalley - hooray for the lbrance trial. Hoping this is the ticket to your stable

Nettie. - yea! Glad to see ya

Marla - great Pic. You are rockin the bald look

Hi1 - hope you get settled soon

Loverly - oldest of 8? Wow. Are you close to your siblings now?

Chevy - glad both your girls are there. Enjoy the visit. Uh cowboy boots for a wedding ? Do tell.

    Hootie hoo

Patty, a newbie came to an old thread, a long one, and started complaining. Sas did post the link for it. I don't think the mods will Ever try to limit the length. I think the newbie was a troll. Don't worry!!!

My GS#1 can be like that. They think he might be autistic. He makes me crazy, then I feel like a bad nana.

Ah I finally hit the link and read some of poppy's comments about long threads. Hmm These forums are an organic living thing molded by people so it's not going to be a 6 paragraph essay on a topic. If you want a run down on drugs the boards offer a library and it's easy to scroll around and read about SE articles etc.. so what's the issue? What an odd criticism. I mean I have gotten bored and started reading some forums from the beginning and busted my butt laughing (like a cure for stupid) and I hope they leave it. It's given me a chance to get to know some folks that passed soon after I joined. Some of the threads are testaments to past sisters.. beautiful tributes. Food for thought.

There are some forums I like to just read and I don't post, but once in a blue moon. I don't know why. Other forums feel like family and I enjoy the bantering and talking. It is therapeutic really. On days you feel like crap and everything is an effort.. reach out to others here and meet humanity going through the same. I think it has evolved to fit the needs of the members, it appears to work so leave it alone. My opinion only.

    spookie. - too funny.

Blondie - thinking of you tonights. I am so happy that you got to go to Fl and your health and determination allowed it. Hoping you are sleeping peacefully by now. Reminding you to try and not overdo it while you are there. I know it will be hard but I know you want to enjoy each day. By the way , you look so happy in the pics they posted earlier. Happy and full of spunk. DO NOT end up in jail because you got too crazy. OK

Hi ladies- back from yoga tonight and it did me good. My fav teacher from the gym was subbing this class tonight and we had a good visit on the walk out. I have lots of different yoga teachers I like in town, but she is my fav at this particular place.

I love marinated artichokes Spookie. I get the big jar of them at Sam's club and put them in salads, omlettes, you name it. I know those fresh ones are always pricey.

Rose- there is a Cure for Stupid Thread? I have to find that one. I love a good laugh! I think the gal on that other thread just is not skilled at social media. If you have something you need help with, you start a new thread. It is that simple, and people respond even if the question has come up before with others on other threads.

Patty- I hope you are feeling good. When do the boys go back to school, in August? Hard to believe we are heading into mid July. Lots of folks start coming back from vacations here and schools start up mid August. Back to school shopping too, I love tax free weekend here in August (I go by home office supplies for my biz and some other things too that are tax free). Are you getting all the rains coming through and over to TX?

Blondie- thinking of you tonight too and hope time with family and by the water is good for the soul. You deserve to be happy!

Mags- I was thinking about you tonight in yoga. Wondering if you are recovering from all you went through with treatment? I hope your little dog continues to be a good companion and DH is doing well too? And your cousin who helps you too, is she still living with you or was that temporarily to help you?

I have an eye apt in the am, mammo in the afternoon and other things in between so time for bed. Sleep well my insomniac friends!

Oh, god no, please don't shut down the old threads! The OMG we've found a cure for stupid thread has evolved but that early discussion of ridiculous treatments! My husband managed to cheer me up after I found out about second and more extensive (though far from mastectomy( surgery by saying brightly "Let me go get you a bushel of asparagus. With alkaline lemon."

Patty, I am the closest to my sister who is 2 years younger than me. We were not as close when we were younger. She used to chase me with a fork or butter knife because...um...I knew which button to push. Couldn't help it because she was mostly annoying. She has always been the smarter one( smart Alex also). We have learned over the year to appreciate each other's difference. I love her dearly.

Marlana, I had to look up who Uncle Fester was and saw the minor resemblance, I had a good laugh. You are nut.

Jazzy, I didn't know artichoke's flower is that pretty.

Ms Chevy, love Ann Murray's song. Yup, I agree.

Ms. Sass, how is pup doing? So grateful that you will be driving two hours to have lunch with us. I am humbled.

Ms Spookie, I am excited too!

Rose, the family iscoming with me to Florida for my younger Sis' wedding. I figured if I don't carve out the time to do lunch with the Floridian ladies, I will miss the great opportunity to meet them.

Ms. Blondie, thinking about you and hoping that you are having lots of fun.

No Patty, you didn't miss it. I am waiting patiently for the recital too. And Rose "just my opinion" again haha?? I think the lady was just really frustrated navigating through BCO to look for answers. Probably was having a bad day or several bad days. Hoping that was what it was.
