Good morning ladies- I had a lovely morning on the patio with a hummingbird that was buzzing around the tree where I was standing and then buzzed my head. There have been a number of them visiting my backyard today. Hummingbirds symbolize joy if you did not know! Good start to the day.

I am heading out in awhile for some free music in Old Town as part of the NM Jazz Festival. One of my fav fun things to do. Going with a friend from an old job I see a few times a year. We always have a lot of laughs.

Wishing you all a good day, and for those in treatment to feel better.

    Have a joyous day, Jazzy!

Oh oh Ms. Sass, is he not treating you as he should AGAIN? You are kind to keep his dirty and clean clothes separated haha. It's a good thing you are on the better side of the fence, but it's not good to be angry for long. How does the saying goes? BBL got to find it for you

Hey Marlana, I am surprised Ms. Chevy has not mentioned aloe vera juice to you for your esophagitis. Did you know that her DH is Italiano? You were a wild child

Oh were okay Loverly. Already made up. First time I threw his clothes out. I put the clean clothes folded in a basket on this side of the gate. How OCD is that. We have a strange, but workable relationship. I've never see him drunk or on drugs in 3 years. He's never physically hurt me. He treats me respectfully when we are together. We laugh allot. The bone of contention is he sometimes doesn't come home when he says he'll be here. If he would say I won't be home tonight, that would be fine. It's the no show, no call. He just needs repeated reinforcement. I've learned how to train him without much anger getting in the way. The clothes over the gate is an effective training tool in his case.

Except for pot when we do it together. I was angry until the clothes went over the fence. Anger then gone. So, it's an effective tool for me too. Non-conventional, but effective.

YOOOHOOOOOooooooLoverly up here, I think you missed what I said about the anger.

Yes.... Loverly is right.... The man is Italian.... He always has been..... Winking They are by nature, very jealous, and bossy, and generally great Husbands.... and Dad's.... I forgot posessive and suspicious.... Winking AND caring... when you are sick or injured.

Sass.... His clothes over the fence? And the neighbors aren't out there laughing and point their fingers? Hahhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaah! You could always burn them you know.... THEN he would know you were serious. All he has to do is throw them BACK over the fence, knock on your door in his black socks, and he is in like Flynn.

I know how these things work.

chevy, he has lot's of black socks......you going to try a trifle? Are the girls at the wedding?

Loverly, they're is something you can't say to me? Never. Tell us about your sister that is getting married. Details.

sas you are so funny. I am always amazed when I see your pic. You are one that your picture doesn't match the picture I had of you in my mind. You act and talk like you are about 30. Too funny ocd separating clothes when you toss them over the fence. I love ya girl. Glad you already made up . That's the best part, right? After we swim I had a teeny tiny bite of the brownies. Manna from heaven. I may have to spend s couple more hours swimming to work all those calories off. Well worth it.

Loverl - love the frog pic

Spookie - I am def gonna borrow your line about slapping so hard...google lol

Jazzy - I love hummingbirds too. I have a feeder hanging outside my porch in front of the swing. Lovce to swing and watch them don't know mvh about them but am truly amazed how fast those little wings go

Blondie. -thinking of you my dear friend. Have fun

    Hootie hoo

Patty, I entirely agree on the making up. I know crazy on separating the laundry. The time I did that clean on the inside and dirty on the outside, I told my counselor Gary. He laughed and laughed. He said it was totally within character. Hmmm 30, okay I'm 30. A case of arrested development? Then DBF is robbing the cradle at 55, rather than me at 64.

So, what is the new pain drug combo, and how much thyroid med? There is some association with low thyroid and pain. I was interested to hear your response to new thyroid level. Were your thyroid labs abnormal? Or is this a trial to see if you feel better? Consider Selenium 200mcgs once a day and zinc 50 once a day. My research lead to those as being specifically good for thyroid support. Nice for the Liver too. Bigwig thyroid doc supported it. Initially, I was taking selenium 100, he said to increase to 200. I thought cool, he agreed and had an opinion on dose.

Smarrty, Phyllis is in Houston this week for 3 month follow up scans after finishing trial. The scan last Tues showed no progression in area on sternum and it is shrinking. Her doc told her the dying cells could go on for two years. Next week she is going to have the insertion of the internal nerve stimulator for pain control. Her pain is neuropathy of the lower extremities. She's staying with BBF. she drove by herself to Houston. She's back to volunteer activities. She sounds great.

Hi, Ms Blondie! Happy to hear you are ok and having a good time. I wish the timing was different so I could meet you at the same time as Ms. Sass and Ms. Spookie. Did your team take care of your nausea? Zofran ODT works fast.

Ok Ms Sass, I saw your post about anger. It is interesting how when you are angry, your OCD is still at work haha. I usually don't react when I am mad ( I hardly explode) I usually internalize my emotions which is not healthy. My sister, the one that is getting married, told me that I need to let it out the next time someone makes me mad. Here is a text she sent me months ago.

Ms. Chevy, I think we married the same man, except mine is not Italian. I am sure you figured that out by now by my daughters' pics. You described my DH to the teeth

Pretty :) love the dresses, fairytale. Is he still in the military? Tampa would be Mc Dill. No exploding anger, I don't let it get that far. I get to the line in the sand and say that's it...........next move. Now, I have done the primal scream. That's a whole different ballgame. Primal scream never done related to DBF.

Blondie Happy thoughts. Enjoy. Glad the boys are playing nice.

No, he is done. He is hoping to join the bomb squat or homeland security.

"So I was snorkeling and Brandon told me to take a pic and he sunk down on one knee and proposed! 😍💍" ...this was how he proposed. So sweet.

    image

Yup, fairytale wedding theme. I think she is having her bridesmaids dress up as Cinderella, Snow White, etc.. It's good her fiancé is very patient. One of my Sis is Snow White and wants my younger daughter to be her dwarf.

You see Marlana, I have a wacky family too and I am the only normal and calm one.
