Had a picnic at the beach with the cousins. High tide. Sunshine. Gorgeous. Thinks it's funny Irish summer is 18-22 (hot) which translates to 60s. 70 is hot. And jac in Perth says that's her winter. Did I interpret it right?
Going home to high 70s/low 80s (25) Maybe not such a shock to the system. Trying to figure out what can stay or be donated so can cram in more chocolates, tea and crisps.
Really want to sleep solid tonight. Probably really won't:(

I just down, or up-loaded Windows 10!!! I got a notice, and said I could "upgrade"!!!!!!!! So I did.... the adventureous one that I am.... So far so GOOD!
And at the left bottom of the screen, "Cortana" is there.... and you can ask her questions.... And she ANSWERS! I tell you, she is better than my husband! She knows my name.... It's magic.... It's like Janie's phone! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

Me walking the 7 Mile about 2 months ago. Hubby and I had ate breakfast at sunset grill and went up and had a stroll. Some little boy ran past us and I had to take a shot of him running up the bridge.

Sas--piriformis is tight--too much laying around the last couple of days. It seems any one extreme and it tightens back up. The ingrown hair is much better--the tea bag for a toothache is what gave mom the idea so between the bath and the tannins, it's worked out. Mom's BIL passed a while back (2000?) from some infection that even the CDC couldn't identify. He was always getting antibiotics for colds and such (you couldn't convince him that they don't work for viruses) so she's convinced that he picked up some superbug or he just didn't have any natural antibodies to fight off the infection. So she resorts more to home remedies these days more than ever, especially after she saw last week's episode of Frontline dealing with a spike in MRSA cases near pig farms where they feed antibiotics to swine.
Smarty--I'll say "nice rack", too because it's true.
Chevy--I think it would be natural if the nips were a little off...my right one, even before the 2nd degree burns, reconstruction for the inverting and the lumpectomy, pointed a little more to the right the my left side. As long as you're in the ballpark, you're good. And thanks for the tips (the household stuff, not to be confused with breast tips aka nipples).
Loverly--ok, I'll give you MOST sane.
Frey--one other trick I use for water is that I chug, not sip. Breathe thru your nose (like you're doing something else, lol!) and just swallow! It's down before you can taste it.
Rosie--I'm living vicariously through your seafood dinners... Can you pack some on dry ice and ship me some? California doesn't get a lot of fresh warm water seafood unless it comes from Mexico and I don't trust them not to farm raise it and lie about it since their food regulations are a little lax....as for the swelling, would an ice pack help? They make those big ones for backs and the one I have helps when my dyspepsia gets bad and I have swelling around my stomach. Hugs and stay dry!
Welcome, newbies! Jacfin, I had a similar reaction to sutures in my face from a car accident many years ago and then again from my first knee surgery...turned out that I was having a reaction to a soluble suture called Vicryl. After that, I've had other types of sutures with no problems. And vitamin E helps minimize the scarring and discoloration.

Zills - I love tea. My "tea" cabinet is stuffed. I found some apple chai in there that has turned out to be great iced, think I didn't like it hot. My favorite only because I can get it locally is Yorkshire Gold. I did buy a giant "chest" of 150 or so bags on Amazon. Any good tea recommendations? LOL don't see me traveling to Ireland anytime soon so something that I could order on Amazon or maybe get at a gourmet store? I do have to make a trip to Dallas the end of September for DD (pick up from Love Field) and intend to hit any and every store I can in a few hours. Ft. Worth has some OK places but nuttin' like Big D has. My DH is cringing already.
Frey - That looks absolutely lovely - when it's not pouring rain. I had a fun time looking thru the map at all the "Key" names. DH and I made it to Key West on a cruise but only for a few hours.

For those of you not into tea feel free to skip lol.
Queenie - there isn't enough room to list everything. I never met a tea I wouldn't buy - well within reason. Just about any kind of chai - lately I've been buying Zhenna Gypsy. I have a lot of Stash teas, Double Bergamot Earl Grey and lots of fruity ones for iced stuff. Keep Constant Comment for winter use. I've been thru several boxes of Harney & Sons but it I think is more expensive than the Yorkshire Gold. I have a box of Yorkshire Tea (picked it up by mistake) but frankly the Yorkshire Gold is better (both Taylors of Harrogate which is a good brand too). I come and go with coffee, sometimes it's what I want in the morning and sometimes not. DH is working very early shift so he's not drinking it on work days and it's just too hot to make much of a pot. I say that but last week got up feeling punky/achy/headachy. I think is was restarting back on Femara after a 2 week break - ssshhh - don't tell my MO lol. And coffee was what I wanted and man-o-man it was great. I love to look thru the Amazon tea listings. My favorite late night tea is Celestial Seasonings Gingerbread Spice (herbal tea). It smells heavenly - only trouble is it's a holiday item. I'd looked for it for a couple of years and found it again at the health food store finally. I have 2 of those nylon basket things that drop into cup - anything that closes never holds enough tea for me. I never use the baskets. Teabag all the way. Though I did find some loose Assam in the cabinet. (Read that is what makes Irish tea unique). Hmmm.
Oh and I went thru a period Christmas 2014 of collecting hot choc. mixes. Just about thru all of them. TJ Maxx, Marshalls were a source for them. Even the gourmet stores around here had a mediocre supply.

I love Harney & Sons and Revolution Teas--the latter has an Earl Grey with lavender that I put a little French vanilla creamer in...Harney does a summer peach that's also good with French vanilla--like peach pie a la mode

Celestial Seasonings lemon ginger and sleepytime extra, Barry's irish, Twinings Prince of Wales (mild flavor), Lady Grey (less overwhelming than Earl Grey) Haven't tried the Scottish Breakfast yet but I like the Yorkshire Gold--that's what caught my eye in your post. But Ill keep that im mind about Assam being a key to the flavor of Irish Breakfast.

LMG Ever hear of Traditional Medicinals tea. Nighty- night, Easy tea, are my favorite. They smell so good. If you don't want to drink it you can just sniff them.
Marley, tea bags are great for any poultice. Is that what you used for the vulva? Oops hooha.
I just had to erase something. Made me laugh, but to risqué for Loverly. Chevy would have enjoyed it. Right up her Pole.

Marley - don't think I've seen Revolution Teas. We have the usual groceries, one high end mkt out of Austin (Central Market division of HEB), and what I can get at World Market or Sprouts. Whole Foods coming to Ft Worth next year and Fresh Market just opened. Ft Worth has become a restaurant mecca but not so much for gourmet food shopping. Hmm Revolution says available at World Mkt. Will have to look for the Earl Grey/lavender. Also on Amazon
Queenie - I did see the Barry's and Lyons listed as Irish teas. Haven't tried either. I have had P&G which I understand is standard lunchroom tea a la Liptons and also Typhoo. Not impressed with either. I usually make a 2 teabag large cup of hot water and makes 2 generous servings of iced tea.
DD was a big consumer of Tension Tamer in high school. She would get home late from UIL meets (writing, journalism) and want it NOW. Think she still has a box in her apartment.
I also recently bought at local grocer a box of Wissotsky Nana Mint Tea (I think nana mint is a variety?). Strong mint, I put a Liptons teabag in to cut the flavor just a bit.
Sassy, not heard of the Traditional Medicinals teas. Will have to look for them too.

Spookie that map is hilarious! Yep just a large canal across the state. I just took a short stroll up to the lake to see the sunset, pinks and grey blues. All the cicada's were screaming, haven't heard that in years. I remember that sound from summers in PA growing up. I saw 2 bunnies chasing, lots of egrets and Ibis and something crying up in the trees. I couldn't make it out. Then there are these little frogs out on the lenae that make just a fantastic amount of noise and they are teeny like 1.5 inches. It's just astonishing that anything so small could make so much noise! Ah the tropics. For all the rain we had this morning, the roads are dry.
Have you had that hibiscus ice tea at Panera.. wow. Then the passionfruit ice tea at Starbucks I could get addicted to that stuff. It's muggy outside but very doable. Not sticky and miserable so I guess all the rain helped. I did get a big ol mosquitoe bite, Florida's state bird or was that Alaska? I had to laugh at the nickname "Z" - got an instant image of the ant named "Z." Be well.

Goats: I'm rather of the impression (having drunk it and PG) Barry's is "lunchroom" Irish Breakfast tea. Breakfastroom. Whatever. The sort of tea you get from someplace a step up from the greasy spoon diner set, but not a big one. Real tomatoes with the baked beans on toast.

That would be our state "bird". Bird screaming? Blue Jays are scrappy noisy things. And those bitty froggies. It can get loud here. LOL. I just checked radar, not much in the Gulf, for now. YAY!!!!!!!
