When we first got married, I used my Mom's old wringer washer... along with a galvanized wash-tub for rinsing...

But we could finally afford our own automatic washer in about 1958... I had it to close to the sink one time, and water had gotten down in the electrical outlet, and when I plugged it in, that thing threw me clear across the kitchen into the refrigerator! I saw stars for DAYS afterwards! Winking

Our first cat was moved from Texas to Alaska to Oklahoma to Texas. She would get in the suitcase when we were packing to make sure we didn't leave her.

It was too humid in Houston for clothes to ever dry outdoors. In Oklahoma, you could hang the diapers on the line. When you were finished, you could start taking them down because they were already dry. We had clotheslines for a long time. As Mom got older, she insisted on getting a dryer.

Wow, Julie. The pic of the moon reminds me the first time my dad took me to the beach ( I was maybe 7 or 8, many many moons ago).

The moon pic is from a photographer named Dotzsoh. At least that is what is said when my bf posted it. Pretty!

Never mind. It's an instagram person....

My dog hides her bones all day long, but she eventually eats it. Must be a game for her.

Aww....I like The Flight of The Bumblebee. I guess it can be annoying if you are looking for peace and solitude.
