LOverly, If you could find any EBR on the D and stones. I couldn't. But it always amazes me what pops up when you least expect it. I was way below when the first 5 occurred. 1250/day with the first two. 2000/with the next 3. Mine are bladder stones/shards/crystals, not kidney. But I do believe the ca++ thing is a problem. I see the Endocrine doc next week. Will attempt to pick his brain again. I don't take any extra Ca++. But between the thyroid and parathyroids another story. The pain only occurs with urination. In between it's okay. But been flushing lot's. One of the 5 lasted 7 days. This time, I'm into day 4. Definitely slowed down.

Littlegoats, Hope DH can get that tooth finalized. It seems like it's been all summer long. Thanks, doing better :) Just took a swim. Pool is like a slightly warm bath. Delicious.

SusieQ, doing good. Better by the 1/4 day.

On here and journal wise. I think it's SE of my shrink's meds she has me on. Teaching me to sleep also so I'm missing too much. I just wish all, and I mean all, of you knew just how much you do for lurkers like me. See, got me to writing and everything.

Ok, Chevy, yes it's a corset. Just covers the torso, the uncontrollable Buddha belly.its not as hard as you might think to put it on. No way it pulls up over these hips. Easier to put it on lying down so the tummy flattens a bit.

I got it because I have a blouse I wanted to wear tonight. An old friend whom I've known a long time but haven't seen in years, lost her husband this week, and the visitation was tonight. Anyway, I've only worn the blouse once, I got it for the cruise that ended with my finding the lump. It has darts, so I wore my knitted knockers for the first time. That was strange. Never wore any foobs. Felt like they were climbing up to my face. Cousin and I went to dinner afterwards at our favorite Mexican restaurant.

It felt so good to get home and turn the belly loose.
  • Mags - whew you can breathe now with that thing off. Looks painful. Crazy what we women will do to look good

    SAS - stones gone ?

Mema - nice to "meet" you. Glad you are comfortable enough to post now to help other lurkers too.

Where is everyone at ? Oh yeah it's Friday night I bet y'all are with Chevy earning those dollars one dance at a time.

Chevy - curious mind wants to know. With all this technology do the ummm.. Dancers .. Take debit or credit cards now? Or just cash still ?

Sorry not to respond to many my head is swimming making everything blurry and my fingers are not cooperating. So hugs all around.

Ah Mags.... I know the feeling.... I feel like that when I take my bra off........

Peppermint! NO! I gave up dancing.... walking even, for that matter....Loopy No, I still walk, but mostly around the shopping centers, or stores, but not up and down the alley or streets anymore..... but I'm holding that option open....

I'll bet "they" have to pay at the door/desk, before any services rendered? Just like at Disney World... Pay first, THEN enjoy the ride.... get it? Hah!

Man, it's COLD out this morning! Only 52 degrees out there...... If Spookie reads this, she will get a chill.

I was thinking...... I'm going to post some little something each day or so to my friend that has that AWFUL Aphasia.... Then her SON can show her his lap-top, with a message and picture from me, and read it to her! Because I don't think she could remember, unless she saw a picture, and him reading her a short message! I just think about her all the time.... I know she doesn't have "thoughts" during the day... and is only living in her "now".... but her fiance', her Son, and her XDIL keep her going........ Can you just imagine?

Hope you are feeling better Sass!

Um, I was thinking of somewhere farther south. Like the equator.

  • Susan - so your ftom Chicago ? I was born and raised in Champaign IL. Nearly neighbors. Lol

Mom2 - hope you are feeling better. I love that NyQuil commercial where it says "sleep like before you had kids ".

SAS - feeling better? Stone free I hope. Oops I meant free of kidney stones.

    Smarty - big wave !

Spookie - too funny indeed. Quite a fashion state. So when it's blanket pants time is it still socks and flip flop time ?

Chevy - great idea about a post and pic for your friends family to read to her. I are an awesome friend to many it seems.

Was hoping so hard to go home today but dr wants to wait Til tomorrow. Then I can get some more iv antibiotics and see if the vomiting can be controlled without iv med. As much as I want to be home I must say the dr is right. Certainly don't want another return visit.

Luv my goats, They gave me halcion for cataract surgery. Not enough to knock me out, but my short term memory was almost non-existent all day. Took 2 naps and still slept at night. I'm on prednisone for the eye as well. It helps keep down swelling.

Hootie hoo Patty! Glad you got your chatty back on, can you tell you've been missed? Your question about the dancers taking credit and debit cards got me thinking...

    1) They already have the slot to swipe

    2) Debit only; you sure wouldn't want to use the card again...

Chevy, I had to steal the cat pic from Patty's thread and send to DH. When he got home at midnight last night after being gone for a week, the dogs went crazy, and the cat (which is his, and adores him) sat on her blankie cleaning her paws.

Yes....flip-flops and a parka! Only in Florida.........

I remember my Brother would come visit us here, and wear those long shorts EVERYwhere.... Had to change when we took him up to Mt. Evans, and it was snowing.... I laughed my butt off! He was sick from the altitude, and trying to wrestle on big-boy pants over his shorts....in the back seat. Haven't seen him since.

Oh, and he gets up this morning to a text message that the whole dang network at his company is down. Nobody else can fix it, apparently. Thousands of employees, dozens of IT people and it has to be the guy that just got back at midnight?

In case you missed Chevy's cat pic, I'll repost it here.

DH sent me back a smiley face from his apple watch. He's in the next room, in his office, but we still text each other. Been that way since we first got texting.

Oh Mags! I still hate to text! With my little stupid "for emergency use only" phone, little keys, it is just plain hard! So I just use it for phone calls mainly.... I have a land-line, AND email, plus my computer....

    DD #1

always reminds me that texting is the future....but I just have no use for it.... not when I have FB, email, and 2 phones....Ha!

Spooks: I'll be a little cooler than you,, and I'm SO HAPPY about it. I can already feel the chill,,, as I was out in my capri pants and flip-flops. Humidity is down!! YIPPEE!!!

Hootie-hoo, Patty. Yes, I've walked on the beach in a hoodie and bare feet! Hope you are feeling well enough to come home tomorrow.

Mags: ewwwww on the debit card.

Thanks everyone. I think I am done for this episode. Hope so, they just wipe me out. I don't take any pain meds for lot's of reasons. But the waves are like uterine contractions for childbirth. Once the wave /contraction is over, it's over. I have this weird thing that the pain goes down the back of my arm and into the palm of my hand. I've seen the nervous system pic that explains it, but the docs are blaise` about it. Must be rare. Anyways nice it's over.

Having friends in for dinner BBL.

Spent hours in Canton, TX, roaming the many outdoor set-ups of "stuff" for sale. It's kind of like a giant market but with prettied up junk. I ended up eating a baked potato for lunch and then a funnel cake. Feel like chit. First time my DH went and he did so cause DS and DDIL wanted to go - they are having first baby this winter. Patty, met 4 school teachers from Arkansas. I even shared my funnel cake with them! I just know if I could bring you some we could eat together and laugh at Chevy and others.

I love my flip flops. I wear then year round cause they are wonderfully comfortable in the house. I like winter but I don't like the house too warm, just cozy enough to feel cozy Bawling

Sorry you aren't around right now Sass. My DSIL's niece that lives in Nevada is 16 and was just taken into surgery for removal of a tennis size breast tumor. I haven't found out if they know if it's cancer or pre or if they did any damn treatment first. Surely they would have with her being so young? She just turned 16 for goodness sake, how could they just jump in and rip up her chest? And, if I'd known I could have at least talked to someone about the anesthesia info that's posted. These people are so close mouthed that they're pissy. Anyway, I can't find out now, everyone is laying low, quiet, and in prayer for the precious thing. Please keep her in your thoughts. Just call her Bailey. I'll post something later when I hear she's out of surgery. She's been in about an hour now.

Yes Mema will keep her close in prayer. Surely pray it is something benign and easily taken care of.

And it was a lovely day to go to Canton. Never been there but 1st Monday in Weatherford is a close kin and that was this weekend too. Do you ever watch "Flea Market Flip"? They take stuff, make other stuff from it - your prettied up junk lol - and sell it, team competition for profit made.

Mags hope your DH has gotten all things IT straightened out. He wouldn't want me to help would he? DH says I can blow up the most foolproof system LOL.

Patty - I hope tomorrow is your day and you are Mahvelous from now on. Know you are waiting to bear hug your boys.

Sassy - good golly. Passing a stone and then cooking for friends. I bow b4 you.

OMD Memma! What happened? I can't believe some little thing could have something like THAT!!! I had ruptured appendicitis with Peritonitis when I was 16.... and I thought I would DIE! So much PAIN~ Tell her we are thinking about her.... and let us know...

I ALWAYS worry about our Daughter's....and they are in their 50's!!! Not to mention our 2 Grand-sons who are getting close to 30! That's just what we do as Mom's and Grandma's I guess.

It's supposed to get down to 47 tonight! I changed our bedding.... even put on the flannel sheets, AND the electric blanket.... But I'll probably still have the fan on low, but snuggled up under the blankets...Winking
