Nurse story: I'm the daughter of a barkeep. All patients are asked about how much they drink. I added a question each time " Is it measured or poured?" Always caught the real drinkers off guard and they would inevitably tell the truth. Saved many from going through withdrawal. A measured drink is one oz. to one jigger. A poured drink could be 8 oz. Then they're is the Long Island Ice Tea type drinks.......oz's and oz's
