Susan: interesting to hear about the seamstress/knitter. First I have to sort out all the pieces I have and what yarn remains to me to see if it's worth even trying to knit the missing pieces. (Yarn manufacturer long gone!) I'd probably turn my husband loose with your friends--he's the opera buff.
Now back to readying for cosmetic tweaking surgery on Thursday--hopefully the last surgery for me for a while!

Shy, brave pup!!!
Does anybody have Peppermints contacts?

Queenie, how big is your pocket...enough room for all of us to jump in so we can keep an eye on the surgeon for you
0 -
I think Ms. Sas might have it.
0 -
Lover: I can always make a temporary pocket out of the bedspreads. Plenty of room.
0 -
Hahahaha....make sure it's not too cozy because we also need stay awake to make sure you don't say or do anything silly while under

Nah, they're more ornamental than heat-retaining. Working on pictures, for my own records if nothing else.

This is for Spookie.... and anyone else who loves this sound...........xoxo My Mom & Dad's favorite song!

Quennie, YES, a very big pocket. We are mostly women of girth. Except for Loverly. She's this itty bitty teeny woman like I was in my 20's I have never seen those days again, drat. What procedure are you getting? Pretty sure it was the face. I need a chin tuck and upper and lower eyes. Make sure you stock up on frozen peas
Way back when a gal here and On STFU had her eyes done the same day as her MX(BMX?). Not many PS's would do that. OKAY bringing the chocolate for your pocket party THURSDAY. Wrote Thursday large b/c I have a ten second memory.Loverly, I left a message on PattyP's cell phone

Chevy how did your exam go today? Andre Rieu is such a cheerleader. I think of how stogie concerts were in the old times for the types of programs he is famous for, very fun

First things first: hoping Miz Patty's doing OK!
Sas: no, my (whispers-thursday) surgery's a follow up to the medical surgeries for breast cancer--I ended up kinda funny looking, though most of my factory installed equipment remains. Though remembering "face" isn't totally out of the blue: I'm the one who got hospitalized (shudders) for erysipelas.
Laying in a supply of good chocolate and even better loose-leaf tea for the pocket party. Also willing to cater for others!

Amazing!! Thank you!! Do you believe the size of that concert hall?? DD thinks it's in Sydney, he does say the world famous Australian Pipe Band.

oh, you know, you know!! 0 -
Her account says she was on an hour ago. Maybe she is just lurking? Helloooo, Patty!

we lost our Jessie today. miniature australian shepherd, almost 12. she was in obvious pain and it was time. thank goodness for our daughter - she took her in and stayed with her. she was such a loving "velcro" dog. we're all heartbroken. This is a charcoal drawing DH did a few years ago.

MostlyMom, I'm sorry to hear of Jessie's passing. What a beautiful drawing. Do you have it framed? It seems like something that should be displayed in your house, especially now.
0 -
Mostlymom- so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear Jessie.
0 -
mostlymom sorry to hear you dog is not well
It's is just too much to have to part apart from our pets.
Sending you lost of strength

Mostlymom, that is a beautiful drawing of Jessie. It is crazy how they take a piece of us with them. Hugs.

Mostly, I'm so sorry. I had a black tri, he was 14. 1/2 when I pts. Darn near killed me, Aussies are soooo smart. 6 years later I still cry for him. I understand. Spookie, Kris and I send Huggies.

Mostly mom, so sorry to hear about Jessie. Such a beautiful dog. It is very hard to lose a pet. They really do take a piece of our hearts with them.
0 -
Mostlymom, So sorry to hear your news. It's so hard to lose them and your life will have an empty hole for a while. Hugs.

Aw, mostlymom that truly sucks big time! Those dad gum dogs crawl into your heart and tear it out of you when they go. I do believe we will have them all with us again.
Sassy, that is going to be one heckuva mess in that pocket! With all of us ladies of girth smooshing poor Loverly, and our hot flashes melting the chocolate, and tea leaves all over the darned place. But I'm still game.
Big day tomorrow, so of course I can't get sleepy. Blood draw at 8:45, MO at 9, PCP at 10:30, endocrinologist at 1:30. And I have to drive myself. On top of that I've had a booger of a headache since yesterday afternoon. With nausea. Just shoot me now.0 -
Aw Mag, I hope they are all located in one facility. Hoping for no technical difficulties after you are done with all your appointments.
No worries Mag. I can still jump. I will be ok as long as no one eats gas producing foods.
Ms. Chevy, your appointment went ok?
Ms. Sas, I was like a stick in my teen years and early 20's.
0 -
mostlymom, my heart grieves for you.
0 -
So sorry Mostly....... I think we are all pet lovers, and it just hurts....... I love your stories Shy!
And Mags, WHAT are you doing? You ain't supposed to shoot yourself.... okay? Let us know what your appointments had to say.
Mine went good... just a mini-physical.... Mostly just talked and listened, and since I don't take any meds for anything.... I mean other than the occasional Aleve for my knee... I take nothing. So no prescrips..... and no blood-work.... In other words she can't find anything wrong.... HAH!
Spookie, I think that one link, "Amazing Grace" was from the Amsterdam Arena..... Such a beautiful setting!
Yes Peppermint was posting on the 4th... I don't have her phone number............just a little worried..... even though she said she was going home.
Did you see where the K's named their son Saint West???? OMG that is bizarre... ! I'm surprised Kanye hasn't changed his name to K the Great! That family is ALL just over the top.... I heard somewhere that "Caitlyn" will go back to being a guy, ( which is more or less what he still is), and Kris Jenner will become "Carl" Kardashian...... See, they have this need to do ANYthing to stay in the news. NOTHING about that family would surprise me.

I forgot to mention.... Have any of you had a booster pneumonia shot? I had one about 12 years ago, and wondered if the PC is right, that I could get another shot? And have you had any problems with a second shot?
0 -
I had the shot about 3 months ago, no problems. I've had pneumonia 5 times, so more than happy to get the shot.
DD thinks it was in Sydney, have a message out to Aussie friend. Not all the clip was in the same place and he does say the world famous Australian pipe band. DD thinks they might be Victoria Police band they've won World competition a few times. In Glasgow.

Chevyboy, this summer my PCP recommended that I get the new Prevnar 13 pneumonia vaccine even though I'd already had the (I think) Pneumovax shot four years ago. I finally got around to getting it done last month. I had no problems with it other than the usual slightly sore arm for a day or two.

Will feel better when we get it increased. Check it again Wed. In the meantime I am confining myself to the house with no company. Will you tell everyone hey. I'll check back soon "
Love ya'll " (PP)
