This next picture - still don't know what kind of tree it is, but it makes awesome pictures throughout the seasons.

  • Difficult to tell without foliage (or expert knowledge) The shape makes me think of an Acer (Japanese Maple).

Looking forward to seeing it in all seasons Nerdy

It has tiny red berries on it - kind of like a holly berry. Just never took a sample down to the nursery yet.

Here it is with a turkey eating the berries.

  • oh my goodness is that a wild turkey? Forgive my ignorance, do they still exist? I didn't know! (European turkeys are farmed descendants of original wild turkeys brought to Europe from N America!)

I have just looked it up on wikipedia and so I now know they do exist! (BCO - always educational!)

(I am reminding myself of my late MIL who was so surprised to see wild swans in Ireland as she had only seen them in zoos.)

Your berry bearing tree is definitely not an acer, you definitely need someone more knowledgeable than me Nerdy
