Tonight's Sunset. Look at those colors! And that is fog you see below..

Gma, your photos have convinced me not to ever live in that town. Up in the mountains above the fog would be my little homestead. Fog is such a penetrating cold.

Thank you all for your comments. Right now I need all the love I can get.
Wren, you are correct. Roseburg is in that fog and we live in the county. Unfortunately, the fog does rise before it dissipates, which is usually our afternoons.
These colors that I caught are very unusual for us. It is actually the first time I have gotten the reds, blues and orange reflections at the same time. Only God could give me such a beautiful picture. Thank you Lord, I needed this.

A very favorite picture I took last summer while walking on a Florida beach. When something is stressing me out and I want to calm myself down, this is the picture I put into my mind:

It's fun to have a place to share them! Here is another one taken at a family reunion in Wisconsin this fall. My cousin builds and restores light aircraft. The picture was taken during a ride he gave us. We are looking down at the family farm where my mom grew up and where he now lives!

The last flower of summer. It surprised me by blooming on the first anniversary of my dad's death in late September. His favorite color was purple.

Ruthbru, I truly believe God has something to do with that - To remind us that our loved-ones are watching over us.

Ruthbru, I truly believe what GMA has said. God does work in mysterious ways.

Absolutely. And what is even stranger is that my dad (who was very old and frail) was at my house a couple days before he died, and that same vine had one purple flower blooming on it then too....like it was calling him home. I think this one was to say, "Yup, I made it."
