Hahahahaha can't wear them with my muffin top. I would need this 100 of these underneath.

Mommy, our brain can only handle so much distractions.
Hey Trish, welcome!!! Sorry for the bad relationship....very stressful.
Minion, maybe long acting Propranolol would help to control the racing heart with less sedation. Are you petite??

Ugh, one of the colors I got yesterday drowns out all but three colors I am using in my project. I want it to be just right as it's a gift for my favorite SIL.

Loveroflife- yes, still doing yoga! I went to a class last week at the gym, but also do yoga on my patio a lot in the warmer weather (spring, summer, fall). This weekend, one of my yoga teachers is starting her summer "full moon yoga" series where we go do yoga outdoors under the full moon in the evening. One of my favorite things to do here in the spring and summer! I will try to get a picture of the circle so you can get a sense of it.
Ha ha, Mitzy loves the yoga. Upward dog for her! A lot of the yoga poses feature animals like Cat or Cow Pose, Upward or Downward Facing Dog, Dead Bug pose (as you noted), Cobra, Crane, Dolphin and so on.

I'm loving all the garden pictures! Keep them coming!
Mitzy reminds me of my old chocolate lab Abbey, when I'd put my mat on the floor I could never get to it before she did! I'd roll her off but she'd just climb on top of me and lay there. She weighed 60 lbs but she made my situps more challenging! I miss my old girl but I couldn't bring myself to replace her. My DH didn't care for her much, he always told me he was going to take me to the ER to get my dog removed from my butt! Funny man!!

morning all. Evie is fine so far. Waiting on the other 3. At least one of them will get the chicken pox.
I started back to swim classes last week. First time doing water yoga. Never liked yoga on dry land! Been sore all weekend. The girls are really tight, hopefully from the exercise. I hate to think they're becoming encapsulated. Got to much coming up to do anything with the boobs.

Working on a baby quilt, new grand nephew coming in September. She's doing Peter Rabbit theme, so that's what the quilt is. Just finished embroidering the 6 blocks I needed. Back to work.
Hope everyone has a nice week. Getting hot already.

good news, Sensi. Now remember to still take it easy. Still on any pain pills? I will check with DGS about lawns.
Susan, great pic.

Been off the pain pills for a week tomorrow. Just taking ibuprofen and a Benadryl at night for itching. The older I get, apparently my skin doesn't like adhesives. Still giving it a few more days till I drive. I tend to overdue it to soon, so I'm trying to behave

Sensi hooray for being drainless.
Susan nice picture of sil and Elena. My father had Alzheimer's and passed away last fall. It is a horrible disease and very hard on the family
Our reno is almost done. The countertops went in today and the backsplash should be finished tomorrow. I am glad that I don't have to look like a million dollars at eight in the morning anymore or should say I don't have to wear the darn prostheses

Susan- I am sorry about your mom. Both of my parents had dementia at the end, different kinds. My dad has Alsheimers so I cannot imagine anyone getting a puppy and leaving it with someone mentally impaired. Unfair to both. Hugs sister.

thanks jazz..sorry you went through the same.

Yeah Sensi, No drains!
Today I went for my pre-op appt. and had an opportunity to ask my doctor about the results that were high on my CBC from last Friday. When I saw the elevated numbers I got on the computer and Googled them. When I typed in BA%, it came back as elevated blood ammonia. However, the doctor today corrected me by explaining that the BA% in the CBC actually stands for Basophils, not blood ammonia. So, as it turns out all my counts are normal and I've been cleared for surgery.
So, I guess the lesson here is that one should never count on Google for reliable medical information. Always check with your medical professional.
Lookie - The pics of your yard are very pretty. It seems very relaxing. Also I think you mentioned the idea of me fostering dogs until I can get one of my own. However, where I live, we are not allowed to have any pets other than our own. We're not even supposed to have visitors that bring their pets. Nor can I have someone come and do pet sitting if I had a dog and had to go somewhere, even overnight. Oh the joys of living in HUD housing.
Also, the pattypans look great. My Mother used to cut them up, saute them with butter and salt/pepper, then put them in a baking dish and sprinkle Monterey Jack on top and bake it until the cheese melted. Yummy! When growing your own, do you buy them in seed form or plant form? I'd like to grow some.
Loverly - Mitzy is sooooo funny.
Myra - Sorry your having such difficulty finding colors that match your vision. The creative process can be a challenge sometimes. I am knitting another crib blanket and was happily knitting along today and realized I'd forgotten one yarn over, which throws the whole pattern off, so I'm taking out several rows, stitch by stitch. UGH!
Shep - You never told me what it is you finally found.
Susan - Great pic of your SIL & Elena @ graduation.
Hello Jazzygirl, it seems like you've got competition from Miss Mitzy in the yoga poses.

Oh yeah, I forgot,
On the way home on the train from my doctors appts. in Portland today I met a woman who has stage 3 lung cancer. So during the entire ride home we discussed our different experiences with some of our docs and the hospitals we'd each been to. At one point an older woman walking down the isle leaned over to me and whispered " I had BC 30 years ago and I'm fine, so just hang tough, you'll be fine".
What part of Stage 4 does she not understand? Geeeez!

Just thought I'd share this funny.

Junie you must be relieved knowing all your counts are normal and your operation will go ahead. I also did a lot of googling when I was first diagnosed ,it is very easy to have misconceptions about the information you read. How disappointing about HUD dog rules. I had never had or seen pattypans until last year. I picked up a package of seeds and thought I would try them, very easy to grow

JazzyJune- good to hear you have been cleared for surgery. It was also good you met a fellow cancer patient along the way to share experiences.
The other woman who stopped by to say you would be fine may have been trying to be kind, not knowing your staging, but don't like eavesdroppers either!
We will be in your pocket during your surgery!

My new plant was still hanging when I got up this morning. Guess I did something right!!!!

Yay M0mmyof2! I've got some plant hooks on the side of our house that I told my Mom I'd move them down to the footers of the deck for her to use. I've set up a small apartment in our basement for her and she has a walkout patio to boot. All I hear is when am I putting up the plant hooks? I know as soon as I put them up she'll be bugging me for hanging baskets ๐๐

Nothing like having a nice hanging plant in my window. Just hoping my mom doesn't bug me for a piece of it when she comes down for a Memorial Day cookout at my house.
