How do you know if treatment worked?

  It is a hard thing to wrap your head around, but saps all joy and energy if you can't come to some sort of terms with it.

  It's definitely hard. I'm glad I was able to deal with it before I became Stage IV. I can't imagine getting that diagnosis after years of believing you were 100% cured!
