(Speaking of frying hamburgers, there was a place called Lenny's in my hometown that served deep-fried hamburgers. They were sooooo delicious! Interestingly, because of how oils interact, the resulting patty had less fat than a regular grilled burger - the hot frying oil would draw out the fat in the inner patty - but all the wonderful flavor you'd expect.)
