Egg freezing, is it worth it?
Hi, I was recently diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer at 22 years old. I am overwhelmed with so many information and now I need to decide whether I should do egg freezing. I know it’s not 100% successful but should I still do it to keep my options open? I’m too young to even know if I want kids in the future or not. I just did my genetic testing but I can’t wait for the results to decide. What if it comes back positive? I’m not sure what to do right now.

Mango, I am so sorry someone so young has to deal with any of this! for what its worth my vote is yes, and of course you are much too young to know if you will want kids in the future, but its great that you can have the option and figure that out later. I just had a friend celebrate her 5th yr post-treatments, she said the first year was the hardest between the shock and treatments so hopefully things smooth out for you soon- best of luck!!!
